A política educacional paulista: controvérsias em torno dos conceitos de descentraliza??o e autonomia 1983 a 1999

Abstract: among the educational policies from the department of education of the state of s?o paulo, this paper assesses the guidelines that gave pedagogical, administrative and financial autonomy to the network of schools. the official discourse is analyzed on the base of both the main documents that justified the political options to formulate the agenda of the department and clarified its goals, between 1983 and 1999, and the legal measures taken to regulate the process that granted autonomy and decentralization to that schooling network.

Abstract: this text discusses the instrumental use of the concept of decentralization. as a rule, this term has been used pragmatically as a synonym for de-concentration, and lately as a warrant of school autonomy. these controversies are discussed on the basis of documents from multilateral organizations and the literature in these areas. this is an attempt to design a brief panel where questions could originate and illuminate the possible relationships between the international directives ? invariably produced within organizations headquartered in developed countries ? and the policies implemented by the peripheral countries and, less obvious, to assess the implementation of such policies.

Abstract: this paper refers to the contributions of the curricular studies for the teaching of history, considering that researches on this teaching, when passed by curricular questions, need approaches with educational theories and boardings. in this article i present a reflection over the academic disputes for the definition of contents of education, over the specificity of historical discipline in school and over the possibility of modifying the formation of history teachers, aiming at boardings about culture and education designed by curricular studies. the text was constructed as an allegory, parting from the picture of the painter terniers, the younger, entitled the archduke leopold wilhelm in his painting gallery at brussels, belonging to the museum of prado, in madrid.

Abstract: this text analyses data obtained through research on the state center of technological education paula souza, in the state of s?o paulo, jurisdiction over technique schools; in the attempt to comprehend the tension that appears in the school context concerning the relation between directors, teachers, pedagogic coordinators, parents and students when they are congregate in collegiate agencies and in pedagogic meetings. a bigger study was integrated to this research in order to verify the issues which affect the school management and the building process of the pedagogic, financial and administrative autonomy of the technique schools based on their relations with the main agencies (degree and level of autonomy in the curricular organization and in the issues related to financing and school management); the internal democracy indicators; the directors relation with parents, teachers and students; the relationship between teachers and students; the workings of collegiate agencies; the partnerships, the external assessment of the management; the teachers' and students' opinion about the idea of a good director; the directors' idea of good teachers and good students. as we had already mentioned, this text will only discuss some issues that affect the working of the collegiate agencies in the school context.
S?o Paulo, centro e periferia: a retórica ambiental e os limites da política urbana

Abstract: the text, referring to the metropolitan region of s?o paulo, puts a focus on the urban environmental issue, in whish the environment consists not only of natural processes and dynamics, but also includes the relations between them and the social processes and dynamics. two extreme situations highlight the matter: i) the outlying settlements on the fringes along the water supply areas and environmentally sensitive areas; ii) the decrease of population at the central and consolidated areas, which have a potential to increase density. from this point, the urban projects made for the central area of s?o paulo, the core of the metropolitan area are discussed. it turns evident then that the inclusion of the environmental dimension in the urban issue, in a sense that is not just rhetoric, brings to light the intrinsic limitations of urban policies.

Abstract: this study presents data that allowed knowing the frequency of several types of bullying (aggression and victimization) - physical, verbal and indirect or relational - that occurred between adolescents who attend the middle and secondary schools of a city in the southeast of portugal. the study compares the frequency and types of bullying, obtained through a self-report, and related them with sex, three levels of education and three socio-economic levels. the results of this study are also compared with the results from other european studies about this theme.

Abstract: the author uses the rorschach to search the qualities of the identity process in allergy as they are studied in psychosomatic by sami-ali's multidimensional model. she presents this procedure as a new form of conceive projection by interpreting the rorschach's productions in order to consider their corporal dimensions beyond a symbolic way of reading them. by doing so she streches the prevalent mother's figure as the main characteristic in the relational dimensiom of this pathology, nayming it maternal ubiquity.
