Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Escola Anna Nery , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1414-81452008000200023
Abstract: considers the pedagogical practices that are used in nursing where the relations of this person are established, regulated, and modified with themselves and where their own experience is made up. it points out the discourses that produce this, the conditions of possibilities of the rise of this profession in brazil, the repertoires of ways of experiencing themselves, and the instruments for the formation of its members, focusing on four aspects of the thesis the powers of the cold bodies: the discipline of anatomy, the nursing techniques, the physical exam, and the nursing diagnosis here viewed as apparatuses that produce cold bodies. it points out such teaching strategies as representative of a certain way of teaching nursing, pointing out that the disciplinary mechanisms that permeate the way how we teach can keep us from thinking that nursing instruction could be done differently.
Enfermagem moderna: a ordem do cuidado
Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S0034-71672006000700004
Abstract: with the purpose of placing modern nursing into focus, in this essay i go over the possible conditions for the emergence of nursing practice systems. based on texts by michel foucault and identified with cultural studies, i reclaim fragments from nursing history in order to put back together the organization of its practice system at a given historical moment and in a hospital environment. i tell the story of some of this plot's characters in an effort to show that the past can become the product of the present, once it encompasses historical writings devised and set up by the will of its authors. i highlight modern nursing as a practice of care that becomes professional and builds its own knowledge intent on ensuring professional independence.
Anatomia: a ordem do corpo
Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem , 2004, DOI: 10.1590/S0034-71672004000100017
Abstract: in this essay i try to show the source of the knowledge that determines a certain view that the healthcare team, particularly the nursing team, has developed on the body, especially the sick body. i understand that this knowledge determines ways of caring for the hospitalized bodies. based on texts by foucault i analyze the subject of anatomy. i present a brief history of its construction as a field of knowledge since versalius until today, when we find plastinated and digitized bodies. i highlight the cadaver as the student's first contact with a human body and observe that the illustrations contained in anatomy books privilege male and white bodies. i characterize the body as a radically historical invention and observe that we are culturally trained to perceive it, in an organized way, from given viewpoints and by using certain lenses.
Dallegrave, Daniela;Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Interface - Comunica??o, Saúde, Educa??o , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S1414-32832009000100018
Abstract: multiprofessional residence within healthcare was taken as a cultural invention constituted from sus. the aim here was to disturb and destabilize the truths about multiprofessional residence. a poststructuralist theoretical reference point was used, with tools proposed by foucault: discourse, power and device. this cultural invention was shown to have taken place through elaboration of discourse on what residence is or should be. this paper seeks to show how this topic is presented in materials produced and disseminated by the state, residents, healthcare professionals, residence programs and physicians (whether residents or not). the discourse is split between people speaking in favor of and against the proposition. the latter consists of discourse produced by men in the medical profession who occupy positions of power. the people in favor of the proposition, regardless of gender, link up through another powerful form of discourse that, for example, advocates comprehensiveness and favors sus.
Meyer, Dagmar Estermann;Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0034-71672003000400002
Abstract: this text presents some reflections which we intend to use as subsidies for discussions stemming from the need to implement the current curricular guidelines in undergraduate nursing programs in brazil. having as a reference authors who write from a post-critic perspective in education, the text proposes a change in focus to address these reflections, namely, answers to questions, from certainty to doubt, from prescription to problematization. following this line, we suggest that curricular guidelines should aim at providing references for the creation of political-pedagogical projects which articulate both with the political and social demands of the broad-based society as to local needs and interests, without attaching to or submitting to them.
Bonetti, Osvaldo Peralta;Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem , 2004, DOI: 10.1590/S0034-71672004000300025
Abstract: this research has the purpose of gaining more understanding about the actions and policies put in place in order to ensure the training of professionals that work in the services of the state health care system, considering the direct and intrinsic relation between the education and its final quality. broken down into 3 perspectives, here labeled as voices, we have tried to identify, by means of the discourses on social control in the area of health, the system's administration, and education represented by the schools of nursing, what are the criticisms and propositions concerning the theme of professional training for the state health care system. the text deals with the terms used in the context of professional training, as well as a critical reflection about the new tendencies and paradigms that are on the agenda in current debates and discussions.
Pruinelli, Lisiane;Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Texto & Contexto - Enfermagem , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-07072011000400005
Abstract: this study aims to analyze the strategies and tactics that the brazilian media links to constitute organ donor subjects. the corpus of analysis was a newspaper of wide national circulation that is considered the most influent of brazil. this study is qualitative in nature with an exploratory approach and is associated with cultural studies in its post-structuralist slant, using tools proposed by michael foucault. the newspaper article analysis allows forms of power that establish truths about organ donation and what constitutes donor subjects to emerge. we consider that these speeches are seen as a biopolitical strategy that uses a tangle of tactics to conduct the population, revolving around the possibilities of organ donation.
Constituindo sujeitos anoréxicos: discursos da revista Capricho
Niemeyer, Fernanda;Kruse, Maria Henriqueta Luce;
Texto & Contexto - Enfermagem , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-07072008000300006
Abstract: the media has been essential to the construction of modern identities and the production of concepts and behaviors: educating, disciplining, and regulating bodies; in short, constituting individuals. the objective of this study was to analyze discourses about the teenage body as published in capricho magazine and reflect upon the meanings they carry. this study is of a qualitative nature with an exploratory approach, situated in the field of a post-structuralism version of cultural studies. it makes use of michel foucault's ideas for theoretical support. for the analysis of capricho magazine's 2005, 2006, and 2007 content, we adopted discourse analysis associated with post-structuralism. upon analyzing such discourses, we created the following categories: collecting diets, addicted to working out, and clothes to conceal one's figure. it is our assessment that upon addressing a teenage audience, this magazine becomes a powerful cultural tool, operating in the sense of creating anorexic individuals. eating disorders are developed through a complex social and biological network and the role of the nurse is important for its prevention.

Fernanda Niemeyer,Maria Henriqueta Luce Kruse
Texto & Contexto - Enfermagem , 2008,
