Abstract: this study intends to map the health care given to the usuary with needs in the mental health field in a primary health care unity, analyzing the team work in the light of the integrate primary health care practices. the participants are health workers from different professions, who belong to the service's mental health working processes. the data collection technique used was the analytic flowchart. the results show us that the connective flows among the professionals and between them and the health unity's, in the primary health care unit, has been producing and proliferated diverse exchanges' spaces, making possible health actions aligned to the integrality in people's care through a enlarged understanding of health mental disease process, by means of human relationships' valuation and subjectivities involved in the health work space.
Almeida, Luciana Togeiro de;
Estudos Avan?ados , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-40142012000100007
Abstract: the "green economy initiative", under a perspective of theoretical analysis, it is a reiteration of "old ideas"; it is not exactly a new concept, but the proposal for a set of instruments for achieving sustainable development. a major novelty of this initiative is the defense of political activism to induce environmental technological change, which reveals its approach to evolutionary economics. in terms of international political economy, the potential for north-south conflict on the "green economy initiative" is linked to the reported deadlock in the negotiations on trade liberalization in environmental goods and services in the wto doha round.

Comparative karyotype analysis in diploid and triploid Dolichoplana carvalhoi (Tricladida, Terricola, Rhynchodemidae) from Brazil
Alvarez, Luciana;Almeida, Eunice Judith Cardoso de;
Genetics and Molecular Biology , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S1415-47572007000300013
Abstract: in this work, we present cytogenetic data for the land planarian dolichoplana carvalhoi. two different karyotypes, one diploid (2n = 2x = 14 chromosomes) and one triploid (2n = 3x = 21 chromosomes), corresponding to two morphological body patterns, are described. chromosomes from regenerating blastema were studied after routine giemsa staining and cbg banding. our analyses revealed heteromorphisms in chromosomes 2, 3 and 4 of the diploid karyotype and in chromosomes 1, 3 and 7 of the triploid karyotype. further studies are needed in order to determine if the two morphological patterns of d. carvalhoi represent distinct species.
Photocatalytic production of hydrogen: an innovative use for biomass derivatives
Melo, Marcos de Oliveira;Silva, Luciana Almeida;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532011000800002
Abstract: hydrogen is considered the energy carrier of the future because of its clean and very flexible conversion into different forms of energy, e.g., into heat via combustion or electricity via fuel cells. traditionally, hydrogen is produced from natural gas steam reforming from fossil fuels making the effective implementation of hydrogen economically and environmentally unsustainable. to overcome this problem, several routes are being proposed for hydrogen production from renewable sources. recent research points to the photoinduced reforming of biomass as a promising possibility, since it uses solar radiation, an inexhaustible source of energy, and raw materials derived from renewable sources such as biomass and water. studies in this field are still incipient but quite encouraging. the process combines photocatalytic water splitting with the photodecomposition of organic compounds mediated by an irradiated semiconductor. in this process, the water oxidation reaction is suppressed by a sacrificial electron donor (biomass), as well as the formation of superoxide radicals when the reaction is carried out under anaerobic conditions. the hydrogen production rates from photoinduced reforming are similar or superior to other processes, including biomass hydrolysis and aqueous phase reforming. however, the major researches into hydrogen production by photoinduced reforming of biomass derivatives have focused on tio2, which limits the portion of solar radiation absorbed as uv light. thus, the current challenge in this field is the development of narrow band gap semiconductors that are able to drive the photoinduced reform of biomass with visible light, which corresponds to about 43% of solar radiation.
A model for selecting project team members using multicriteria group decision making
Alencar, Luciana Hazin;Almeida, Adiel Teixeira de;
Pesquisa Operacional , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-74382010000100011
Abstract: selecting a project team is a complex multi-criteria decision-making problem. for this reason, one appropriate way to tackle such problems involves the use of multi-criteria decision aid methods. however, most of the decisions taken regarding the selection of project teams are made by a group of people. it is this which changes the focus of the problem by moving from one decision-maker (dm) to a group of dms. analysis needs to be extended in order to consider the preference structure of each individual group member. in this paper, we present a group decision model for project team selection based on a multi-criteria evaluation of the preferences of a client's representatives. it could be applied to any decision problem since it involves a group of decision makers whose preferences diverge little. an application of the model in order to select consultants for a construction project is presented.
