Abstract: considering that female adolescents living in shelters may have a different view regarding the meaning of violence and the effect it has on their lives, in this study, we aimed at understanding violence from the perspective of these youths. this qualitative study was performed using semi-structured interviews with 11 female adolescents embraced by a municipal shelter in rio de janeiro. their statements were subjected to content analysis (thematic), which revealed the violence they experienced in their usual environments: family, community, and the shelter. the adolescents have a precise and rather concrete understanding of violence, pertinent to their experience. they face difficulties to realize the complexity of the phenomenon, basically referring to the community and intrafamily violence tangible to them. the results point to the need for more investments to engage in discussions regarding the process of vulnerability and disaffiliation that these adolescents experience in life, their roots and effects.

Abstract: Teniendo en cuenta que las adolescentes abrigadas pueden tener una opinión diferente sobre el significado de la violencia, hemos tratado de identificar y comprender la experiencia de la violencia desde su perspectiva. La investigación cualitativa realizada a través de entrevistas con once adolescentes acogidas en un albergue municipal en Río de Janeiro, Brasil. En el análisis de sus discursos se ha utilizado la análisis de contenido y lo que salió fue la violencia vivida en los lugares donde circulan las adolescentes: familia, comunidad y abrigo. La comprensión de la violencia por parte de las adolescentes es puntual y bastante concreta. Tienen dificultad para concebir la complejidad del fenómeno, refiriéndose básicamente a la violencia en las familias y comunidad, que son tangibles. Los resultados apuntan a la necesidad de mayor discusión de los procesos de vulnerabilidad/desafiliación vividos por las adolescentes, y también las raíces y las repercusiones de este proceso.

Abstract: violence against women during pregnancy and the prenatal repercussions is a topic that includes or comprises totality common situations of our daily life, including particular aspects that involve human relations and the socio-cultural context.the present study aims to contribute to the reflection (consideration) of the knowledge already produced about violence during pregnancy, providing the professionals with a broader view of this subject, making the understanding and the discussion about the theme possible. a bibliographical review of the scientific production in latin america and the caribbean about the violence against pregnant women in the public health area between the years of 2000 and 2005 is presented. the ways of caring for, listening to, counseling, giving comfort and relief to these women, having as an objective to improve their self-esteem and to favor the comprehension of their rights taking into consideration the reduction of the damages to the health of the binomial mother-son, is still a challenge in the assistance made by the health professionals.

Abstract: looked for to investigate the existence of the postpartum home for the woman starting from his/her perception concerning the feelings, changes and situations of that period. in a qualitative approach, we investigated eight women, in the 15th and 30th days of postpartum, attended in consultation of nursing of revision puerperal in the basic unit of health (ubs/sms/rj). for analysis of the data we used the technique of content analysis, where it emerged the following categories: service of the expectations, situation of the interpersonal relationship, situation of the intrapersonal relationship (feelings and sensations; relationship with the body). we verified that the witness lived the postpartum with satisfaction, however we also identified a depreciation of the being woman and of the care of herself on behalf of the attention to the newly born. we noticed the importance of the family participation in the maternal process and the accomplishment of a postpartum attendance that it approaches the real feelings of that period, of the rescue of the autonomy on themself and other aspects of the subjectivity of the women in the postpartum.
A percep??o de enfermeiras obstétricas acerca da violência intrafamiliar em mulheres grávidas

Abstract: the objective of this study is to better know obstetrics nurses' perceptions concerning domestic violence involving pregnant women. thirteen obstetrics nurses who work in the pre-natal service of health care units of the municipality of rio de janeiro - rj, brazil participated in this study. the data was collected in march of 2007 through semi-structured interviews and analyzed according to bardin's content analysis. as a result, this study was able to verify that obstetrics nurses are up-to-date concerning the concept of domestic violence. they are aware of the occurrence of violence involving pregnant women and they show concern for its repercussions on the woman, her pregnancy, the child that is being generated, and the family. they point out that in some cases the gestation is the cause while in others it is a direct consequence of domestic violence. the obstetrics nurse is one of the principal agents, when qualified and sensitized, towards the prevention, identification, in giving care and accompanying the women who have lived violent situations in their pregnancies.
The educative practice of professional caregivers at shelters: coping with violence lived by female adolescents

Abstract: this study aimed to identify strategies caregiving professionals at shelters discuss and use in care delivery to violence situations lived by female adolescents; and to discuss educative practice as a care technology for coping with violence. based on qualitative research, the data were produced through interviews with caregivers at a municipal adolescent shelter and were interpreted according to content analysis. the results evidenced individual and institutional strategies for care delivery to the adolescents. in conclusion, educative actions are care technologies in the reframing process of life's value by female adolescents living on the streets or in shelters, considering the cultural diversity - a dialogical action systemized and institutionalized for coping with the violence they experience.
Collective prenatal consultation: a new proposal for comprehensive health care

Abstract: this article describes the collective prenatal consultation as a new healthcare methodology, which is performed according to government standards, but collectively. relaxation and sensitization techniques are used, as well as group dynamics, including a collective exam of the pregnant women. the collective consultation is carried out in a welcoming environment, which provides clarification and socialization of experiences and information, centered on those women. the healthcare professional records every obstetric parameter and behavior in the patient's prenatal card and history file. priority is given to the principle of integrality and citizenship, with the aim to break the biomedical care paradigm, thus favoring humanized and comprehensive care to the women.
A percep o de enfermeiras obstétricas acerca da violência intrafamiliar em mulheres grávidas

Abstract: Es estudio que tiene para el objetivo: para saber la percepción de la enfermera obstétrica adelante violencia del intrafamiliar en las mujeres embarazadas. Tomado parte de él 13 enfermeras obstétricas que actúan en el servicio prenatal de unidades de salud del distrito de Río de Janeiro - RJ. Los datos eran reunido en marzo de 2007 a través de la entrevista semi-estructurada y para el análisis el análisis de volumen de Bardin se usó. Como resultado, era posible verificar que las enfermeras obstétricas son, puso al día con la relación al concepto de la violencia del intrafamiliar; ellos son conscientes de la ocurrencia de la violencia en las mujeres embarazadas y ellos muestran la preocupación con las repercusiones de esto en la mujer, su gestación, el ni o que está generándose y la familia; y ellos apuntan eso en algunos casos la gestación es la causa en otros es consecuencia directa de la violencia del intrafamiliar. La enfermera obstétrica es uno de los agentes principales, cuando calificado y sensibilizado, en la prevención, identificación, en la asistencia y el acompa amiento de las mujeres que vivieron las situaciones de violencias en la gestación.

Abstract: Diante da relevancia e particularidade da violência na restri o ao exercício da cidadania das adolescentes em situa o de ruae na vulnerabiliza o à sua saúde, o objetivo do estudo foi compreender a problemática da violência vivida pelas mesmas naótica dos profissionais cuidadores de abrigo. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa do tipo descritivo, cujos dados foram produzidosatravés de entrevistas junto aos profissionais cuidadores de um abrigo para adolescentes da rede municipal do Rio de Janeiro-RJ em 2008. Os depoimentos foram interpretados à luz da análise de conteúdo, resultando em quatro categorias que explicitam a vis o dos profissionais acerca dos tipos de violência vividos pelas adolescentes: violência coletiva, violência juvenil, violência familiar e violência de gênero. Concluindo, os profissionais cuidadores do abrigo compreendem a problemática da violência vivida pelas adolescentes em situa o de rua de forma ampliada e apresentam algumas interrela es e concomitancia dos vários tipos de violência, configurando a complexa trama da violência que atravessamarcadamente as vidas dessas adolescentes.
Pregnant adolescents and prenatal adherence: a exploratory study in urban area

Abstract: This article presents the profile of pregnant adolescents accompanied in the prenatal into a University Hospital of Rio de Janeiro, analyzing factors that can be interfering in their adherence. It is a descriptive and quantitative study, with analysis of secondary data. The profile was resembled to the results of other investigations with pregnant adolescents of popular classes in urban areas. The residence places and the distance to the prenatal service was configuring as potential influencers in prenatal adherence, expressing the accessibility to the health services. Thus, we concluded that it is necessary to develop changes in institutional practices able to interfere in the bond between pregnant adolescent and services.
