Coordination Contracts for Two-Echelon Supply Chain with Price-and-Carbon-Emission Dependent Demand  [PDF]
Lu Li
Modern Economy (ME) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/me.2016.75066
Abstract: As consumers’ demand for low carbon products is growing, we develop a two-echelon supply chain with price-and-carbon-emission dependent demand consists of a dominant manufacturer and a retailer, and compare the optimal price and carbon emission and profit under the centralized and decentralized scenarios. Based on the manufacturer who wants to coordinate the whole supply chain, two different coordination contracts are proposed. We find that these two contracts not only improve profits of both sides, but also have the effect of carbon reduction. Finally we validate the effectiveness and environmental of these contracts through numerical examples.
Analysis of the Relationship between Listed Companies’ Earnings Quality and Internal Control Information Disclosure  [PDF]
Jianfei Leng, Lu Li
Modern Economy (ME) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/me.2011.25100
Abstract: This article examines the relationship of earnings quality and internal control disclosure information in the sample of 1273 nonfinancial firms in shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010. Using multiple regression model, we launch an empirical analysis on the relationship between earnings quality and internal control disclosure information. We find a positive relation between earnings quality and internal control disclosure information. The better the earnings quality is, the higher level of the internal control disclosure information will be. This provides a theoretical support to perfect our system of internal control disclosure of information, and to reduce the occurrence of financial fraud.
Research on Initiative Turnover Rate of the Post-90s Workforce―Taking Labor-Intensive Enterprises as an Example  [PDF]
Penglin Li, Hanglu Lu
Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies (JHRSS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/jhrss.2014.21002
Abstract: Based on the investigation of the traditional research on the factors which affect employee turnover rate, this paper aims at establishing a dynamic model of the post-90s workforce to explain the phenomenon of continuously high employee turnover rate of the post-90s workforce in labor-intensive enterprises. The model has explored the intervening factors of employee turnover and provided theoretical guidelines for companies to take actions against high turnover rate. The incentives for the post-90s employee initiative turnover have been probed thoroughly from the three aspects of employee, company and society and thus the managerial tactics have been proposed for companies to manage high turnover rate of employees. These tactics include mental health education, employee ethics education, improvement of working environments, rebuilding corporate culture, transforming employee management style, enhancing employee career planning management and setting up keep-to-the-point incentive mechanism, etc.
A Research on Control Layers of SOEs and R & D Investment  [PDF]
Xin Lu, Ruihong Li
Modern Economy (ME) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/me.2018.95059
Abstract: The pyramid structure of the SOEs along with the process of continuous reform has significantly affected the business activities and the decision-making behaviors of enterprises. Based on the data from 2007 to 2015, the paper validates the influence of the length of the control chain of SOEs on the R & D investment behavior of enterprises. Through analysis, we find that, with the control chain being lengthened, it suggests the significant decrease in R & D investment, but this correlation is not obvious for the central SOEs. Further research finds that, although there is no significant effect between the length of the control chain of the central SOEs and the R & D investment in the case of the whole sample, when the control layer is greater than median, the elongation of the control chain significantly inhibits the R & D investment of central SOEs and local SOEs. What’ s more, we find that the negative correlation of the number of control layers and R & D investment for local SOEs is only significant when the agent cost is lower.

Lu Ge, Chenggang Li
Modern Economy (ME) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/me.2019.101016

With the introduction of the new concept of retail, the retail industry in our country began to make new changes, the form of clothing retail is also changing, and the appearance of diversification is beginning to appear. Based on the new retail perspective, this paper analyzes the overstock of clothing inventory encountered by Chinese clothing brands in the process of development, the low loyalty of consumers to clothing brands, the declining profits of garment enterprises and the lack of brand precipitation. This paper puts forward the marketing strategy to solve the problem of clothing development in our country under the new retailing: using big data on line to transmit information quickly, improving the efficiency of enterprises in the supply chain system, improving the customer stickiness through perfect offline experience. This paper also puts forward the global fashion marketing model and digital and technical service marketing model for the development of garment enterprises in China under the new retailing, so as to explore a new marketing model suitable for the development of Chinese garment enterprises.

A Novel Approach to Improve the Security of P2P File-Sharing Systems  [PDF]
Cuihua ZUO, Ruixuan LI, Zhengding LU
Int'l J. of Communications, Network and System Sciences (IJCNS) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/ijcns.2009.23025
Abstract: The recent and unprecedented surge of public interest in peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing systems has led to a variety of interesting research questions. How to minimize threats in such an open community is an impor-tant research topic. Trust models have been widely used in estimating the trustworthiness of peers in P2P file-sharing systems where peers can transact with each other without prior experience. However, current P2P trust models almost take no consideration for the nature of trust, fuzzy, complex and dynamic, which results in low efficiency in resisting the attacks of malicious nodes. In this paper, a new trust model named NatureTrust that can alleviate the shortage brought by the nature of trust is proposed. In order to cope with the fuzzy characteristic of trust, linguistic terms are used to express trust. Additionally, fuzzy inference rules are employed to evaluate trust of each transaction so as to handle the complex characteristic of trust. Fur-thermore, risk factor is deployed into NatureTrust to represent and reason with the dynamic characteristic of trust. Both risk and trust factors are considered in evaluating the trustworthiness of each peer. Experimental results show that the trust model analyzed here thus stands against malicious act effectively.

Journal of Financial Risk Management (JFRM) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jfrm.2012.14010
Abstract: The problems of Chinese rural drinking water have existed for a long time and are deteriorating. Determining the price of rural drinking water is beneficial for solving these problems to some extent. Therefore, this article makes appropriate study on rural drinking water option and its pricing model. Based on the theories of options and water option, we make description on the connotation of rural drinking water option and its trading principle as well as main entities. In addition, on the basis of traditional Black-Scholes option pricing model and the actual situation of rural drinking water, we construct rural drinking water option pricing model from different aspects. With the guiding price of rural drinking water option, it can realize the optimum allocation of rural drinking water resource on the market.

Lu Li, Zhuo Zhang, Min Xu
Technology and Investment (TI) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/ti.2016.71003
Abstract: In current research on open innovation, the impact of innovative openness on the effect of innovation capability on corporate operating performance has been ignored. This paper uses hierarchical linear regression model with financial data of 137 listed enterprises in Chinese Stock Exchanges to study the moderate effect of openness on relationship of innovation capability and operating performance. The result shows that the internal innovation capability and absorption capability can significantly affect the operating performance, but the effect of technology acquisition and diffusion capability is remarkable only under the moderation of openness. Meanwhile, innovative openness negatively impacts the effect of internal innovation capability on the operating performance, and positively impacts the effect of absorptive ability. Finally, this paper provides some suggestions for helping enterprise’s implementation of open innovation strategy based on their own capabilities.
