Abstract: Multifractal analysis studies level sets of asymptotically defined quantities in dynamical systems. In this paper, we consider the u-dimension spectra on such level sets and establish a conditional variational principle for general asymptotically additive potentials by requiring only existence and uniqueness of equilibrium states for a dense subspace of potential functions.

Recent years have witnessed a higher involvement of China’s publishing sector in international market. For the purpose of revealing the dominant factors influencing the international competitiveness of Chinese publishing industry, this paper conducts Gray Relational Analysis to identify certain factors that affect the international competitiveness of China’s publishing industry based on the comparison series and the reference series. The results of empirical analysis indicate that human capital as an advanced factor plays a leading role in the international competitiveness of Chinese publishing industry. Industrial competition obviously affects the scale of China’s publishing industry and its competitiveness. The demand for cultural consumption drives the upgrading of China’s publishing industry, and enhances its international competitiveness. The government’s support facilitates the enhancement of the international competitiveness of Chinese publishing industry. Finally, the author gives some policy suggestions from the perspective of cultural resources, broadening industry chain and governmental conducts.

Design of Distributed Temperature Measurement System for Switchgear  [PDF]

This paper develops a novel distributed temperature measurement system based on DSP and DS18B20 digital thermometer. The real-time temperature of each node in the switchgear is obtained by several DS18B20s which are connected on the 1-wire bus together. RS-485 master-slave communication protocol is used to centralize monitoring temperatures of several switchgear cabinets. The system also has the function of temperature alarm. The operation of simulation experiment has showed that the system is able to complete monitoring real-time temperatures in high voltage switchgear.

In this paper, the intelligent application we designed focuses on a closed family area. ZigBee technology is mainly used to achieve the remote control. The most popular Android system is used in the design. The operation interface on the home intelligent gateway is completed through the designed system. It can allow people the full control by using smartphones. The system is operated and controlled through touch panel. Furthermore, it can be controlled remotely by using smartphones. ZigBee module is expected to be used to allow these devices to perform data transmission and collection. Some additional machinery, control circuits, and sensors will be designed for doors and windows. For example, a motor and a control circuit are installed to control doors and windows, and ZigBee is used to control the power input and drive the motor. Antitheft sensors, such as infrared sensors or light sensors, are installed to monitor the objects. Home gateway can collect ZigBee information on doors and windows, and an interactive mechanism is designed to take effective remote control.

Abstract: This paper is concerned with ground state solutions for the Hénon type equation $-\Delta u(x)=|y|^{\alpha} u^{p-1}(x)$ in $\Omega$, where $\Omega=B^k(0,1)\times B^{n-k}(0,1)\subset \r^n$ and $x=(y,z) \in \r^k imes \r^{n-k}.$ We study the existence of cylindrically symmetric and non-cylindrically symmetric ground state solutions for the problem. We also investigate asymptotic behavior of the ground state solution when $p$ tends to the critical exponent $2^*=\frac {2n}{n-2}$ if $n\geq 3.$

Abstract: Pixel-parallel PE and SIMD architectures are widely used in high-speed image processing to enhance computing power. With fully exploiting the data level parallelism of low- and middle-level image processing, SIMD architecture is able to finish great amount of computation with much less instruction cycle thus satisfy the high-speed system requirement. The main computation parts in those SIMD image processing hardware is known as PE (processing element) and it is responsible for transferring, storing and processing the image data. This paper describes a high-speed vision system with superscalar PE to enhance system performance and its dedicated parallel computing language specifically devel-oped for this vision system. The vision system can achieve motion detection at more than 2000fps and face detection at more than 100 fps which overwhelms some general serial CPUs in the same applications.
A Numerical Study of the Effect of Disorder on Optical Conductivity in Inhomogeneous Superconductors  [PDF]

We present the effect of disorder on the optical conductivity of two-dimensional inhomogeneous superconductors by applying the kernel polynomial method to solve the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. By means of the lattice size scaling of the generalized inverse participation ratio, we find that the localization length of the quasiparticle decreases significantly with the increase of the disorder strength. Meanwhile, the weak disorder can readily restrain the Drude weight, while the superconducting gap has the tendency to suppress the low-energy optical conductivity. We also employ the Lanczos exact diagonalization method to study the competition between the on-site repulsive interactions and disorder. It is shown that the screening effect of repulsive interactions significantly enhances the Drude weight in the normal phase.

A concise and efficient method for the synthesis of novel 9,10-imethoxybenzo[6,7]oxepino[3,4-b]quinolin13(6H)-one and its derivatives 7a-p has been developed via the intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation reactions of 6,7-dimethoxy-2-(phenoxymethyl)quinoline-3-carboxylic acids 6a-p with polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as catalyst and solvent under mild conditions. The key intermediates 6a-p were prepared through the in situ formation of ethyl 6,7-dimethoxy-2-(phenoxymethyl)quinoline-3-carboxylates 5a-p followed by hydrolysis with aqueous ethanolic sodium hydroxide solution. The novel synthetic method has the advantages of good yields, easy work-up, and environmentally friendly character, which may provide a novel highly efficient process for making quinoline and related azaheterocycle libraries.
