A Stochastic SIVS Epidemic Model Based on Birth and Death Process  [PDF]

Abstract: A new stochastic epidemic model, that is, a general continuous time birth and death chain model, is formulated based on a deterministic model including vaccination. We use continuous time Markov chain to construct the birth and death process. Through the Kolmogorov forward equation and the theory of moment generating function, the corresponding population expectations are studied. The theoretical result of the stochastic model and deterministic version is also given. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to substantiate the theoretical results of random walk.

Abstract: There are a lot of increasing evidences to support the strong links between action and language. Action based approach proposed the hierarchical structure of language based on action control and concerned with action goal, context, intention, mirror neurons and object affordances. Action semantics proposed that action control and use of object need not only low-level action control, but also semantic knowledge. Action Semantics are hierarchically organized and selectively activated depending on the action intention of the actor and the context. This framework integrated declarative and procedural action knowledge, thus challenging the traditional divide between semantics and pragmatics and they might draw on common representational resources.

Abstract: This paper presents the harmonic state estimation (HSE) based on the Total Least Squares (TLS) through comprehensively considering the harmonic network parameter error and measurement system error. The proposed approach is tested on the IEEE 14–bus harmonic testing system. The satisfied results are obtained.
Nanoparticle Transportation and Brownian Diffusion in Planar Jet Flow via Large Eddy Simulation  [PDF]

Abstract:

The nanoparticle transportation and Brownian diffusion in planar jet flow is simulated via large eddy simulation in this work. To thorough compare the Brownian diffusion with different particle size, we computed three particle diameter dp = 1 nm, 10 nm and 50 nm in one simulation process simultaneously. The numerical results showed that at the flow de- veloping stage, the particle mass concentration pattern develops as the flow vorticity develops. The distribution is nearly uniform at the lower reaches of the nozzle exit. When the jet flow is developing on, vortexes always carry the particle from upstream to downstream, from the central axis region to the outer mixing layer of jet. At the front of the jet flow, particles distribute more homogeneous for they have more residence time to diffuse from higher concentration region to the lower concentration region. The time averaged particle concentration distribution patterns are similar to Gaussian distribution form. The maximum concentration contributed by diffusion is present at the mixing layer near the nozzle exit. The farther away from the nozzle exit in the cross-stream direction, the smaller the concentration is. The maximum concentration contributed by diffusion is several orders smaller than that contributed by flow convection.

Abstract:

In the face of the increasingly severe employment situation, the role of employment education of independent colleges is becoming more and more important in solving students’ employment problems. During the development process, however, the current employment education for students in independent colleges is still imperfect in five aspects: The understanding of the concept of employment education is inadequate, the courses set for employment education is not sufficient, the team construction for employment education is not enough, the objects of employment education are not fully motivated, and the environment of employment education is not well created. This situation requires independent colleges to proceed from their actual situation and actively take efficient countermeasures, so as to further improve the effectiveness of the employment education for students in independent colleges.

Effects of Anwei decoction on the protein expression of TFF in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis  [PDF]

Abstract:

Objective: To explore the effects of Anwei decoction (AD) on the protein expression of TFF in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG). Methods: Forty-eight healthy rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control group, pathologic model group, Anwei Decoction group, and Weifuchun group. CAG was induced in rats with N-methy-N-nitro-N-nitrogua-nidine (MNNG). The protein expression of TFF in rats’ gastric mucosa was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results: Compared with that in the normal control group, the protein expression of TFF1 was significantly enhanced in the pathologic model, Anwei Decoction and Weifuchun groups (both P < 0.01). The protein expression level of TFF1 was significantly higher in the Anwei Decoction group than in the Weifuchun group (P < 0.01). Compared with the normal control group, the protein expression of TFF2 was significantly enhanced in the pathologic model, Anwei Decoction and Weifuchun groups (both P < 0.01). The protein expression level of TFF2 was significantly higher in the Anwei Decoction group than in the Weifuchun group (P < 0.01). In comparison with the pathologic model group, the protein expression of TFF3 was remarkably reduced in Anwei Decoction and Weifuchun groups (both P < 0.01). but there was no difference between the group of Anwei decoction and the group of Weifuchun (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Anwei decoction may be effective in the treatment of CAG by enhancing the protein expression of TFF1, TFF2 while reducing that of TFF3 in gastric mucosas.

Generator control system decides whether the generator can work as usual or not, as well as its stability of performance. Both types of generators control system composed of the transistor and DSP are sensitive to outward electromagnetic interference, directly related to the generator performance. In this text, we first analyze the electromagnetic interference threat generator control system of transistor type may face, then design a electromagnetic protection plan for the intake, the panel and the sense organ. This work is of great significance in improving its electromagnetic protection ability and stability of performance.

Optimal Investment under Dual Risk Model and Markov Modulated Financial Market  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, the optimal investment problem for an agent with dual risk model is studied. The financial market is assumed to be a diffusion process with the coefficients modulated by an external process, which is specified by the solution to a kind of stochastic differential equation. The object of the agent is to maximize the expected utility from terminal wealth. Together with the regularity property of the value function, by dynamic programming principle, the value function of our control problem is turned to be the unique solution to the associated Hamilton-Jacob-Bellman (HJB for short) equation. When the utility is an exponential function with constant risk aversion, close form expressions for value function and optimal investment policy are obtained.
Study on the Relationship between Postgraduate Student’s Emotion Regulation and Commit Suicide Attitude  [PDF]

Abstract: Aim: The high degree of group commit suicide phenomenon had been a social concern. The purpose of this paper was to try to understand how emotion regulation affected suicide attitude in graduate students. Method: 406 postgraduates in three universities of Chongqing were tested with Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and Suicide Attitude Questionnaire (QSA). Results: On the emotion regulation side, there were significant gender differences in revealing, and significant grade differences in rumination. When encountered with negative emotion, avoidance and suppression happened much more frequently than rumination and revealing. The latter two happened more frequently when postgraduates encountered positive emotions. On the suicidal attitude side, there were significant grade and professional differences in attitudes towards the suicide victims’ families and significant grade differences in euthanasia attitudes. Correlation analysis and regression analysis showed that suppressing negative emotion and avoiding positive emotion were important variables to affect graduate suicide attitude. Conclusion: Inappropriate emotional regulation might be an important reason for the postgraduates who approved of suicide.
