On Hayek’s Spontaneous Order in Perspective of “Financial Tsunami”

Abstract: This paper tends to prove that the emergence of “financial tsunami” illustrates Hayek’s theory of spontaneous order in a sense. As the main theoretical tool for criticizing the socialism, Hayek defended for the capitalism by the theory of spontaneous order. He thought that it was a kind of moral order and also a kind of material order. It appeared spontaneously, as a result of human evolvement and evolution. The emergence of financial tsunami indicates that the capitalism does not overcome its internal instability or get rid of the periodical economic crisis proved by Marx either.

Abstract: Factors affecting the drilling speed are very complex, such as formation factor (layers lithology, depth, porosity and reservoir pressure), fluid density, drilling parameters (bit pressure and speed), drill types, etc. Although liquid phase underbalanced drilling technology is to increase the penetration rate and shorten the drilling cycle, there is no evaluation model currently, so we cannot evaluate which factors can have a greater impact on speed. Based on the establishment of equivalent density and improvement of ROP (Rate of Penetration) calculation model, this paper is about the application of underbalanced drilling technology to improve drilling speed multiple sizes.
Experimental Study of Multi Optical Parameter Imaging Technology under the Fog Condition  [PDF]

A multi optical parametric imaging system is introduced and established in order to improve the contrast of object in the fog. A few targets are observed in the fog weather based on the system level radiation model of multi optical parametric imaging and the calibrated model parameters. The results show that the building’s windows can be distinguished clear in the linear polariza-tion, circular polarization and angle of polarization images because of the strong reflected polarization light of the glass; The vehicles in intersection can hardly be seen in the intensity image, and it is fuzzy in degree of linear polarization and angle of polarization image because of the doped polarization information of trees near in fog; The circular polarization image raises the contrast of the vehicles by 20% because the circle polarization of the trees is less in the fog.
Effect of Additives on the Quality and in vitro Digestibility of Alfalfa Hay with High Moisture Content

Abstract: Two experiments were conducted to investigate the problems of severe nutrient loss of traditional alfalfa hay processing methods and storage difficulties in moist or rainy conditions. Alfalfa hay baled at two percentages of moisture (18 and 27%), respectively were taken as controls (CKL, low-moisture control; CKH, high-moisture control). Bale treatments were sampled before storage and at 5, 10, 25 and 60 days postbaling. Nutrient content and the curve of nutrient change during 60 days storage were analyzed to study the effect of compound additives on the quality and organic-matter digestibility of alfalfa hay baled at high-moisture content. The results showed that the nutrient-component proportion of conventional low-moisture alfalfa hay changed inconspicuously during the 60 days storage process and high-moisture treatment combinations that favored extended microbial activity continued to decrease the forage quality (particularly, increased neutral-detergent fiber and acid-detergent insoluble nitrogen). Nutrient content and in vitro digestibility of high-moisture alfalfa hay processed with compound additives improved to varying degrees after 60 days preservation. Its water content was 1.62% points less than that of the high-moisture control (CKH). Crude protein and soluble carbohydrates increased by 0.42 and 6.75 g kg-1, respectively while non-protein nitrogen and crude fiber decreased by 0.39 and 3.23% g kg-1. At the same time, in vitro dry matter digestibility and in vitro crude protein digestibility greatly increased by 4.18 and 2.74%.

Abstract: According to 71 Pb isotopic data of Mesozoic granitoids and their lead isotope characteristic pattern from different aeras in Anhui, the authors divide Anhui into 6 Pb isotopic provinces: Dabieshan province (A), North Huaiyang-Fubu province (B), North Anhui province(G), North Yangtze province (C), South Yangtze province (D) and Tianchang-Tai lake province (F). The authors also suggest that the lead isotope characteristic pattern of Mesozoic granitoids from each lead isotopic province is closely related to the chemical composition, the age, and the regional metamorphism grade of basement rocks

Abstract: A new method to determine the small-signal equivalent circuit of PHEMT is proposed.This method consists of determining both extrinsic and intrinsic elements analytically,and optimizing extrinsic elements by converse analyzing,which result in the precision of extrinsic elements and the whole equivalent circuit much improved.This method is fast and accurate,and the program finished in Matlab is repeatable.The equivalent circuit determined by this method fits S -parameters measured very well up to 20GHz.

Abstract: In the title compound, C26H31NO3, the octahydro-1H-isoindole ring is not planar and the two rings are twisted with a C—C—C—C torsion angle of 73.6 (4)°. The six-membered ring has a chair conformation while the five-membered ring has an envelope conformation on the C-atom in position 7a. The H atoms in the 3a- and 7a-psitions are cis and the H—C—C—H torsion angle is 42.36°.

A Variable Step-Size Proportionate Affine Projection Algorithm for Identification of Sparse Impulse Response

Abstract: Proportionate adaptive algorithms have been proposed recently to accelerate convergence for the identification of sparse impulse response. When the excitation signal is colored, especially the speech, the convergence performance of proportionate NLMS algorithms demonstrate slow convergence speed. The proportionate affine projection algorithm (PAPA) is expected to solve this problem by using more information in the input signals. However, its steady-state performance is limited by the constant step-size parameter. In this article we propose a variable step-size PAPA by canceling the a posteriori estimation error. This can result in high convergence speed using a large step size when the identification error is large, and can then considerably decrease the steady-state misalignment using a small step size after the adaptive filter has converged. Simulation results show that the proposed approach can greatly improve the steady-state misalignment without sacrificing the fast convergence of PAPA.
Unions of 1-factors in $r$-graphs

Abstract: The generalized Berge-Fulkerson conjecture states that every $r$-graph has $2r$ 1-factors such that each edge is contained in precisely two of them. This conjecture is shown to be equivalent to the statement that every $r$-graph can be covered by $2r-1$ 1-factors. In this paper, we obtain, for any positive integers $r\geq 3$ and $k$, a lower bound of the fraction of edges covered by $k$ 1-factors in $r$-graphs. Moreover, it was announced by Kaiser, Kr\'al and Norine [Unions of perfect matching in cubic graphs, Topics in Discrete Mathematics, in: Algorithms Combin., vol. 26, Springer, Berlin, 2006, pp. 225 - 230] and completely proved by Mazzuoccolo [Covering a cubic graph with perfect matchings, Discrete Mathematics 313 (2013) 2292 - 2296] a lower bound for the fraction of edges covered by $k$ 1-factors in bridgeless cubic graphs (i.e., 3-graphs). Our result extends this to $r$-graphs with $r\geq 3$.
