Removal Hg0 from Flue Gas with Modified VTSS by KBr and KI  [PDF]

Vanadium titanium steel slag (VTSS) containing transition metal can promote the adsorption of Hg0. The method of KBr and KI impregnation was applied to modify VTSS and the properties of the adsorbents were tested. The Hg0 removal tests were carried out with a fixed bed under different conditions. The results showed that the Hg0 adsorption capacity increase with the increasing temperature. The efficiency was highest with KI(3)/VTSS at 20C and adsorption capacity was 163.4 ug/g after 3 h. The highest Hg0 removal efficiency were 90.6% for KI(3)/VTSS, 73.5% for KBr(10)/VTSS/ VTSS at 120C, respectively.

Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on Laplace Wavelet Transform

Abstract: The roller bearing characteristic frequencies contain very little energy, and are usually overwhelmed by noise and higher levels of structural vibrations. Therefore, envelope spectrum analysis is widely used to detection bearing localized fault. In order to overcome the shortcomings in the traditional envelope analysis in which manually specifying a resonant frequency band is required, a new approach based on the fusion of the Laplace wavelet transform and envelope spectrum is proposed for detection and diagnosis defects in roller element bearings. The basic principle is introduced in detail. Laplace wavelet transform is self-adaptive to non-stationary and non-linear signal. The methodology developed in this paper decomposes the original times series data in intrinsic oscillation modes, using the Laplace wavelet transform. Then the envelope spectrum is applied to the selected daughter wavelet that stands for the bearing faults. The experimental results show that Laplace wavelet can extract the impulse response from strong noise signals and can effectively diagnose the faults of bearing.
Betatron modulation of microwave instability in small isochronous ring

Abstract: A novel coupling of the transverse betatron motion to the longitudinal microwave instability is studied. Besides the radial coherent dipole mode space charge field, simulation and theoretical studies in this paper show that the longitudinal coherent dipole mode space charge field due to centroid wiggles also plays an important role in the isochronous regime, it induces betatron oscillation frequencies in temporal evolutions of spectra of longitudinal charge densities, radial centroid offsets and coherent energy deviations of local centroids.
Space charge impedances of a rectangular beam with longitudinal density modulations inside a rectangular chamber

Abstract: This paper studies the space charge impedances of a rectangular beam inside a rectangular chamber, and the limiting case, e.g., a rectangular beam between parallel plates, respectively. The charged beam has uniform density in vertical direction and arbitrary distribution in horizontal direction. The method of separation of variables is used to calculate the space charge potentials, fields, and impedances which are valid in the whole perturbation wavelength spectrum. Comparisons between the theoretical calculations and the numerical simulations are also provided and they match quite well. It is shown that the rectangular beam shape may help to reduce the longitudinal space charge impedances.
Approximate longitudinal space charge impedances of a round beam between parallel plates and inside a rectangular chamber

Abstract: This paper presents the approximate analytical solutions to the longitudinal space charge (LSC) impedances of a round beam with uniform transverse distribution and sinusoidal line density modulations under two boundary conditions: (a) between parallel plates (b) inside a rectangular chamber, respectively. When the ratio of beam diameter to chamber height is small, the image charge fields of the round beam can be approximated by those of a line charge, the approximate analytical LSC impedances can be obtained by image method. The derived theoretical LSC impedances are valid at any perturbation wavelength and are consistent well with the numerical simulation results in a large range of ratios of beam diameters to chamber heights.
Analysis of the longitudinal space charge impedance of a round uniform beam inside parallel plates and rectangular chamber

Abstract: This paper analyzes the longitudinal space charge (LSC) impedances of a round uniform beam inside a rectangular and parallel plate chambers using the image charge method. This analysis is valid for arbitrary wavelengths and the calculation converges fast. The research shows that only a few of the image beams are needed to obtain a relative error less than 0.1%. The beam offset effect is also discussed in the analysis.
Synthesis of highly reactive sorbent from industrial wastesand its CO2 capture capacity

Abstract: A kind of industrial solid waste, i.e., carbide slag, was used as CaO precursor to synthesize CO2 sorbent. The highly reactive synthetic sorbent was prepared from carbide slag, aluminum nitrate hydrate and glycerol water solution by the combustion synthesis method. The results show that the synthetic sorbent exhibits a much higher CO2 capture capacity compared with carbide slag. The CO2 capture capacity and the carbonation conversion of the synthetic sorbent are 0.38 g/g and 0.70 after 50 cycles, which are 1.8 and 2.1 times those of carbide slag. The average carbonation conversion and the CO2 capture efficiency of the synthetic sorbent are higher than those of carbide slag with the same sorbent flow ratios. The required sorbent flow ratios are lower for synthetic sorbent to achieve the same CO2 capture efficiency compared with carbide slag. With the same sorbent flow ratio and CO2 capture efficiency, the energy requirement in calciner for the synthetic sorbent is less than that for carbide slag.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the problems in the existing framework, and achieved a reasonable framework based on reflection and aspect-oriented programming combined with annotations to map the request parameters, and inversion of the control of the various components. The proposed framework reduced the volume of the application context, and achieved the purpose that dependencies between the various components are controlled by the framework. Based on the problems existing in the known framework, the lightweight MVC framework was implemented and the proposed framework was tested by JMeter test tool. The test results showed that the framework proposed in this paper can respond to requests faster, improve access throughput and enhance application performance and user experience. The framework proposed in this paper combined the functions of MVC and IOC to minimize the volume of external dependencies in the development and greatly improved the efficiency of Web applications development.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Pb(C8H7O2)2(C10H8N2)], the PbII ion is coordinated by two N atoms from one 2,2′-bipyridine ligand and four O atoms from two 4-methylbenzoate anions in a distorted pseudo-square-pyramidal environment, considering one of the carboxylate anions as an apical ligand. Pairs of complex molecules related by inversion centers are organized into dimers via pairs of Pb...O interactions [3.185 (2) ] and stacking interactions between 2,2′-bipyridine and 4-methylbenzoate ligands, with a mean distance between their planes of 3.491 .
