Abstract: The IPO in China has been subject to the audit system, which imposes strict control over the pace of issuance of new stocks. The issuance of new stocks is relatively small, and there are also various restrictions on the issuance prices. High IPO underpricing rate and high turnover rate have always been unique to China’s new issue market. For this reason, this article begins with the causes of the high underpricing rate, and combines investor sentiment to study the effect of the new share issuance system on the IPO underpricing rate.
Regional Geochemical Characteristics and Influence Factors of Soil Elements in the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, China  [PDF]

Abstract: Soil heavy metal pollution is one of the main environmental problems in Pearl River Delta EconomicZone of China. Based on multi-purpose regional geochemical survey, regional eco-geochemical assessment, local eco-geochemical assessment and comprehensive appraisal, the eco-geochemical survey and assessment in Pearl River Delta Economic Zone of 41,698 km2were completed. Samples from soils were collected in accordance with the two-layer grid method. Totally 54 elements and indicators for soils were determined. Compared to deep soils, the sampled surface soils are enriched in OrgC, N, P, Cd, SHg, Ag, B, Au, S and poor with As, Ni, I, Co, Cr, V, MgO, Sc, Al2O3, Fe2O3etc. The characteristics of geochemical reference value of element in soil that inherited soil parent material and regional elements combined features reflected that the elements enriched in the soil was interrelated with acid rock, sandstone and shale. The spatial distribution characteristics of element regional geochemistry were conditional by regional environmental geological conditionsand effected by human activities. A Novel Evolutionary Algorithm with Neighborhood Search for Project Portfolios Optimization Problem  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper proposes a quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithm with neighborhood search (called QEANS) to solve the project portfolios optimization problem with limited multiple resources and bounded risks for each project portfolio. The decision concerns how to find an optimal or best assignment of projects to a set of project portfolios that maximizes the total profit. The studied problem is formulated by a 0-1 linear programming model, and a quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithm with neighborhood search is proposed to solve it. In specific, each problem solution is encoded by a Q-bits matrix, which is updated by quantum-rotation gate. In addition, crossover and mutation operators are integrated so as to increase the population diversity. Furthermore, an effective repairing procedure is proposed for dealing with the generated infeasible solutions. To prevent the local optimum, a specific neighborhood search procedure is also proposed. Randomly generated instances are used to test and justify the effectiveness of the proposed QEANS. The obtained results indicate that the proposed QEANS is effective.

Abstract: In recent years, flower e-commerce develops rapidly and attracts extensive attention from relevant fields; flower e-commerce of personalized customization is the unique development pattern. On the basis of illustrating the representative flower e-commerce enterprise of personalized customization in China—The Beast, this paper tries to analyze the unique marketing strategy of The Beast via 4C theoretical model and social media marketing theory, so as to provide references for the future flower e-commerce enterprises. According to the researches, The Beast adopts the e-commerce mode operated by new media and development strategy of lateral extension. It chooses the consumer-oriented pulling-type marketing strategy; taste and fashion are its core competitiveness. The important means of maintaining customer group is to keep a smooth and effective “dialogue” and “communication” with consumers through weibo. The key measure of maintaining fans activity is to propagandize the company products and image by relying on powerful star opinion leaders.

From the factor analysis and cost analysis, this paper respectively expounds the factors influencing the carbon cost of distribution and the influence of different low carbon policy of distribution costs, to further prove that joint distribution can effectively optimize the logistics cost. This paper presents a breakthrough in the traditional organizational barriers to make up for traditional contract deficiencies and improve joint distribution safeguard measures of regulations system, in order to provide reference for improving corporate and social logistics cost.

Firstly, we discuss the strategy of the existing literature combined with the definition of corruption. Secondly, we make the review and analysis of the literature with China’s problems. At last, I pay attention to two strategies of the governance of corruption, and I also have the same idea that, to be consistent with that, China should strengthen system construction combining with its own culture tradition on the problem of governance of corruption.
An Empirical Study of the Chinese Marriage Market: “Leftover” or Not?  [PDF]

Abstract: Using census data from 1990 to 2010, this paper describes the trend of the Chinese marriage market focusing on “leftover men” and “leftover women”. In general, it was identified that there was an increasing share of being single for young and more educated population. The share of single population for less educated men after age 35 was higher than other age groups across the years, providing consistent evidence for leftover men. Meanwhile, more educated women showed no clear difference in marriage rate than others in their late 30s. This study further found that increasing comparative supply of men and more educated women due to demographic change and education reform explains the phenomena observed. In addition, women who get married later were found to have husbands showing disadvantages in age and education level, while men displayed no similar pattern, suggesting that Chinese women might lower their selecting standard as their age increases.

Abstract: Hydrogen production through dimethyl ether steam reforming is an attractive option for mobile applications of hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen is a major trend in the future of energy development. It is not only pollution-free, but also has a high energy density. Therefore, research on hydrogen fuel cells is particularly important. In this paper, a numerical research on dimethyl ether steam reforming reaction in a reactor has been presented using a computational fluid dynamics. A three-dimensional reactor model developed by the commercial software COMSOL (version 5.2a) was used to simulate the reaction characteristics by modifying reforming conditions. The simulation results indicate the temperature distribution, mass distribution, and reveal the dependency of dimethyl ether reforming reaction rate on temperature, pressure, the length of the reactor. The yield of H2 and conversion of dimethyl ether with different mass ratios and inlet temperature (200°C, 300°C, 400°C, 500°C) were examined. The governing equations in the model include conservations of mass, momentum, energy and chemical species.

Abstract: Higher vocational education is a mode of modern education, which can serve regional economy. Higher vocational colleges in Hubei have played a positive role in the service of economic and social development in the region, but from the point of higher vocational colleges themselves, there also exist problems as follows: some higher vocational colleges are unable to meet the diverse needs of talents because of the so-called popular majors; specialties setting of higher vocational colleges lack forward-looking, which is out of touch with the needs of the society; some higher vocational colleges cannot serve the society well; technology research and development of higher vocational colleges cannot satisfy social demand; talented teachers are not enough in higher vocational colleges. Our paper proposes that Hubei higher vocational colleges should take measures as follows: first, we should establish the education view of running the school open to cultivate applied talents to serve the development of regional economy and we should establish the programs according to the regional industry posts; second, we should make full use of teachers to provide consulting service for local government and enterprises; third, we should make use of resources to provide training and service for the society and expand the social service sphere; finally, we should make the occupation education concept merge into the regional members of society life.
Numerical Simulation of Freak Wave Generation in Irregular Wave Train  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, a numerical wave tank is developed based on High Order Spectral (HOS) method considering the wave-maker boundary. The 2D irregular wave trains are simulated for a long time by using this model. The freak wave is observed in the wave train, and its generation process is analyzed via wavelet analysis. The results show that the numerical tank can accurately simulate the wave generation and propagation, even for the freak wave. From the analysis of freak wave generation, it can be found that, two wave groups with different frequency components superpose together to form a large wave group. The large wave group modulation generates the freak wave.
