Shengqin Li,Le He
Journal of Software , 2011, DOI: 10.4304/jsw.6.5.866-872
Abstract: ESP is an active safety system for road vehicles to control the dynamic vehicle motion in emergency, the composition and working principle of ESP were introduced in the paper, and the control technology of ESP was studied too. A virtual prototype model of a vehicle model was built in ADAMS/Car, and the yaw fuzzy control co-simulation model of vehicle was established in Matlab/Simulink, to study the stability of vehicle with ESP disabled and enabled under sine with dwell. Results showed that, the vehicle electronic stability program can make the handling performance under big steering wheel angle, and improve the vehicle stability.

Abstract: Psychological capital is an individual’s positive psychological state of development, which has four features and five criteria. Psychological capital structure in Chinese cultural context contains: calm, hope, optimism and confidence. On the basis of researching literature, the redemptory valid questionnaires were analyzed by applying Structural Equation Model (SEM). The study found that sense of control has a positive impact on the 4 dimensions of psychological capital (calm, hope, optimism and self-confidence).

Computational Molecular Bioscience (CMB) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/cmb.2018.82003
Abstract: Surface layer (S-layer) proteins are one of the most commonly observed cell envelope components in both Archaea and Bacteria. It has versatile functions and holds considerable application potential in biotechnology. Bifidobacteria are representative probiotics conferring health promoting properties. However, there is little study of S-layer in bifidobacteria yet. The distribution and characteristics of S-layer in bifidobacteria are unknown. In this study, search for S-layer protein in the identical protein groups in NCBI yielded 49 hits belonging to bifidobacteria. These proteins were annotated as either “S-layer (domain) protein” or “putative S-layer (y) domain protein” that distributed among 26 species of Bifidobacterium genus. Multiple alignments suggest S-layer proteins are relatively conservative. Phylogenetic analysis of 24 S-layer (domain) protein sequences groups them into three distinct clusters, with the majority species in Cluster-2. S-layer (domain) protein has a universe motif DUF4381, though its function is unknown. Meanwhile, two other motifs CARDB and EphA2_TM involved in cell adhesion and cell signaling respectively, presented in most S-layer (domain) protein in bifidobacteria. All S-layer proteins have a typical N-terminal Sec-dependent signal peptide and a C-terminal trans-membrane region. Homological modeling of representative S-layer proteins from each cluster revealed a few unique structural features. All representative S-layer proteins have a plenty of β-meander motif that exclusively composed by β-barrel structural architectures linked together by hairpin loops.
Direction-Selective Circuitry in Rat Retina Develops Independently of GABAergic, Cholinergic and Action Potential Activity

PLOS ONE , 2012, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0019477
Abstract: The ON-OFF direction selective ganglion cells (DSGCs) in the mammalian retina code image motion by responding much more strongly to movement in one direction. They do so by receiving inhibitory inputs selectively from a particular sector of processes of the overlapping starburst amacrine cells, a type of retinal interneuron. The mechanisms of establishment and regulation of this selective connection are unknown. Here, we report that in the rat retina, the morphology, physiology of the ON-OFF DSGCs and the circuitry for coding motion directions develop normally with pharmacological blockade of GABAergic, cholinergic activity and/or action potentials for over two weeks from birth. With recent results demonstrating light independent formation of the retinal DS circuitry, our results strongly suggest the formation of the circuitry, i.e., the connections between the second and third order neurons in the visual system, can be genetically programmed, although emergence of direction selectivity in the visual cortex appears to require visual experience.

Abstract: In the title molecule, C21H13F6N3O2, the pyridine ring forms dihedral angles of 1.7 (1) and 5.2 (1)° with the two benzene rings. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds and π...π interactions [centroid–centroid distance of 3.628 (3) between aromatic rings] link molecules into stacks along the c axis. The two trifluoromethyl groups are each rotationally disordered between two orientations, with occupancy ratios of 0.58 (1):0.42 (1) and 0.55 (1):0.45 (1).
Influence of contaminations on combustion kinetics in hydrogen-fueled engine
WeiXiong Liu,Wei He,HongBin Li,XiangYuan Li,JiaLing Le
Chinese Science Bulletin , 2009, DOI: 10.1007/s11434-009-0102-x
Abstract: In this work, we investigate the combustion of hydrogen fuel through the wind tunnel tests. Two kinds of fuel, the pure hydrogen and the hydrogen-ethene mixture, have been chosen to heat the oxygen-enriched air. It is found that the stable pressure in the engine combustor and the thrusts is almost the same in two cases. A valuable feature we revealed is that the heating pattern of hydrogen and ethene mixture leads to a considerable delay of the establishment of the wall pressure in the combustor, compared with the pure hydrogen case. This phenomenon implies a longer ignition delay time for the mixture case. The shorter ignition delay resulting from the hydrogen heater is attributed to the continuity of chain propagation and the exclusion of the less active C-containing radicals.

Abstract: The title compound, C9H10N2O5, presents a racemic mixture of two enantiomeric diastereomers. In the crystal, molecules assemble into zigzag chains parallel to the b axis [C(6) motif] due to the formation of elongated O—H...O(N) hydrogen bonds. Of interest is the fact that only the aliphatic nitro group is involved in hydrogen bonding and it adopts a gauche conformation with respect to the OH group.
Primary sarcoma of the liver and transplantation: a case study and literature review

Rare Tumors , 2009, DOI: 10.4081/rt.2009.e31
Abstract: Primary sarcomas of the liver are rare tumors and their diagnosis is difficult to assess, particularly on percutaneous liver biopsy. Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is an infrequent indication for liver transplantation, and angiosarcoma (AS) is a widely recognized contraindication because of its poor prognosis. We report the case of a young woman who underwent liver transplantation (LT) for an infiltrative hepatic tumor with several features suggestive of EHE, although the analysis of the native liver revealed AS. Everolimus was used as the main immunosuppressive drug. More than two years after LT, her physical condition remained stable despite a local recurrence at 10 months. In this setting, the ranking of new immunosuppressive agents belonging to the family of the proliferation signal inhibitors will need to be precise, but their intrinsic properties suggest a potential use in treatments after LT for atypical malignancies.
