Induction-by-stages of Dixmier algebras and orbit datum and its application

Abstract: The purpose of the present note is to prove that the parabolic inductions of the orbit datum and Dixmier algebras can be induced by stages. And as an appliction, we have proved that forSO(2n + 1,C),SP(2n. C).F 4 andG 2, the inductions of complete prime Abel orbit datum are independent of the Choice of parabolic subgroups.
Philosophical pondering upon merging traditional Chinese medicine into systemic medicine

Abstract: Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the component parts of the international health care system. It has been an inevitable trend to merge traditional Chinese medicine into systemic medicine. Along with the emergence of the concept of systemic disease, the wide dissemination of evidence-based medicine and the establishment of thought pattern of systemic medicine, the exploration emphasis of modern medical science has been transferred from microcosmic or solid structure to macrocosmic unit and system relation. The mainstream development of modern medical science is to integrate different medical systems into a complete system. Therefore, the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine is also necessary under this condition.

Abstract: A necessary and sufficient condition for a symmetric submanifold to be minimal in its ambient compact Riemannian symmetric space is given. By this condition a complete classification of nonminimal symmetric submanifolds in compact symmetric spaces is obtained.

Abstract: In this paper we aimed to determine the surface tension of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tablet and tried to provide a key reference parameter to control tablet film coating quality. Using contact angle tester, the Chinese medicine tablet, a famous Fufang Danshen tablet CP as a model example, was determined by Zisman critical surface tension method. Our study showed that the critical surface tension of Fufang Danshen tablet CP was determined to be 18.00 dyne/cm. The Zisman method, hence, can determine successfully the critical surface tension of Chinese medicine tablet and will become an effective manner to control tablet film coating quality.
Nonlocal Means-Based Denoising for Medical Images

Abstract: Medical images often consist of low-contrast objects corrupted by random noise arising in the image acquisition process. Thus, image denoising is one of the fundamental tasks required by medical imaging analysis. Nonlocal means (NL-means) method provides a powerful framework for denoising. In this work, we investigate an adaptive denoising scheme based on the patch NL-means algorithm for medical imaging denoising. In contrast with the traditional NL-means algorithm, the proposed adaptive NL-means denoising scheme has three unique features. First, we use a restricted local neighbourhood where the true intensity for each noisy pixel is estimated from a set of selected neighbouring pixels to perform the denoising process. Second, the weights used are calculated thanks to the similarity between the patch to denoise and the other patches candidates. Finally, we apply the steering kernel to preserve the details of the images. The proposed method has been compared with similar state-of-art methods over synthetic and real clinical medical images showing an improved performance in all cases analyzed.
