Abstract: In this article, we have attempted to analyze current situation and the problem of domestic and overseas harbor container delivery & cargo work automation centered on major harbors and to suggest effective way to deal with the issue in order to improve the productivity of container cargo work per crane, the major index of productivity of high value-added shipbuilding industry. In particular, we have suggested the way to realize effective automation system that can improve the efficiency of harbor container delivery & cargo work through the development of high-tech measuring automation technology using microwave radar and applied design that have broken away from traditional automation system and traditional problems such as dependence on manual work and the problem of laser method in which workers cannot identify laser beam under sunlight and workers’ eyesight can be weakened by being exposed to laser beam.

Abstract: The chatter vibration stands for a sudden relative vibration appeared between a material and a tool while processing with a machine. This vibration is a factor that seriously affects the quality of processed materials as well as being a factor which causes serious damages to the tool and the machine. This study is related to the detection and compensation of chatter vibration that can compensate chatter vibration faster and produce processed goods with more precision by autonomous compensation. The above-mentioned chatter vibration compensator includes the chatter vibration sensor and the chatter compensator that estimates the compensation value according to the sensor detecting the chatter vibration of machine tool and the chatter vibration detected from the sensor while having a feature of being organized by interlocking with the machine tool controller.

For prepare this constraints, it needs studying an auto-configuration functions that build for both visibility and flexibility based on the 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) group management which is supports from WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) of the open embedded device called M2M (Machine to Machine) and major functions of middleware including point manager for real-time device communication, real-time data management, Standard API (Application Program Interface) and application template management. To be application system to RMS (Reconfigurable Manufacturing System) for rapidly response from various orders and model from motor company that is beginning to establishing the mapping of manufacturing resources of 4M using WSN.
Research on Characteristics of Atmospheric Pollution and Meteorological Condition in South of Northern China  [PDF]

Abstract: Taking Handan City (the south of Northern China) as an example, and making use of the environmentally friendly materials of Handan Environmental Monitor Station in 2013-2014, the surface observational data of Handan Meteorological Station and the sounding data of Xingtai station, combined with the integrated analysis of numerical prediction and simulation, this paper shows that, in 2014, the air quality improved; the emission-reduction effect was significant; the days of heavy pollution decreased; and the days up to the standard increased; the annual average concentration of pollutants PM2.5 and PM10 in the whole city showed a decreasing tendency compared to the same period of last year. In 2014, there were a total of 9 weather processes of heavy pollution lasting more than 3 days and the duration was significantly shorter than that in 2013, which indicated that effective emission-reduction measures significantly shortened the duration of weather processes of heavy pollution. The comprehensive analysis of meteorological conditions, such as the days of light wind, wind speed, wind frequency, PM2.5 concentration at different wind directions, the thickness and intensity of the inversion layer, and the height of the mixed layer, showed that, compared with the same period in 2013, the general meteorological conditions of air pollutant dispersion were basically flat and slightly disadvantageous in 2014. Handan municipal government increased the intensity of the prevention and control of air pollution in 2014, promulgated and adopted a series of air pollution control policies and emission-reduction control measures, and achieved some results, especially the emission-reduction measures during the APEC meeting which were obviously effective.
Prognosis of breast cancer is associated with one-carbon metabolism related nutrients among Korean women

Abstract: Background The 5-year survival rate for breast cancer among Korean women has increased steadily; however, breast cancer remains the leading cause of cancer mortality among women. One-carbon metabolism, which requires an adequate supply of methyl group donors and B vitamins, may affect the prognosis of breast cancer. This aim of this study was to investigate the associations of dietary intake of vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and folate before diagnosis on the prognosis of breast cancer. Methods We assessed the dietary intake using a food frequency questionnaire with 980 women who were newly diagnosed and histopathologically confirmed to have primary breast cancer from hospitals in Korea, and 141 disease progression events occurred. Cox’s proportional hazard regression models were used to estimate the hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) adjusting for age, education, recruitment sites, TNM stage, hormone status, nuclear grade and total calorie. Results There was no significant association between any one-carbon metabolism related nutrients (vitamin B2, B6 and folate) and the progression of breast cancer overall. However, one-carbon metabolism related nutrients were associated with disease progression in breast cancer patients stratified by subtypes. In ER + and/or PR + breast cancers, no association was observed; however, in ER–/PR– breast cancers, a high intake of vitamin B2 and folate statistically elevated the HR of breast cancer progression (HR = 2.28; 95% CI, 1.20-4.35, HR = 1.84; 95% CI, 1.02-3.32, respectively) compared to a low intake. This positive association between the ER/PR status and progression of the disease was profound when the nutrient intakes were categorized in a combined score (Pinteraction = 0.018). In ER–/PR– breast cancers, high combined scores were associated with a significantly poor DFS compared to those belonging to the low score group (HR = 3.84; 95% CI, 1.70-8.71). Conclusions In conclusion, our results suggest that one-carbon related nutrients have a role in the prognosis of breast cancer depending on the ER/PR status.
AMPK-associated signaling to bridge the gap between fuel metabolism and hepatocyte viability

Abstract: The adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and p70 ribosomal S6 kinase-1 pathway may serve as a key signaling flow that regulates energy metabolism; thus, this pathway becomes an attractive target for the treatment of liver diseases that result from metabolic derangements. In addition, AMPK emerges as a kinase that controls the redox-state and mitochondrial function, whose activity may be modulated by antioxidants. A close link exists between fuel metabolism and mitochondrial biogenesis. The relationship between fuel metabolism and cell survival strongly implies the existence of a shared signaling network, by which hepatocytes respond to challenges of external stimuli. The AMPK pathway may belong to this network. A series of drugs and therapeutic candidates enable hepatocytes to protect mitochondria from radical stress and increase cell viability, which may be associated with the activation of AMPK, liver kinase B1, and other molecules or components. Consequently, the components downstream of AMPK may contribute to stabilizing mitochondrial membrane potential for hepatocyte survival. In this review, we discuss the role of the AMPK pathway in hepatic energy metabolism and hepatocyte viability. This information may help identify ways to prevent and/or treat hepatic diseases caused by the metabolic syndrome. Moreover, clinical drugs and experimental therapeutic candidates that directly or indirectly modulate the AMPK pathway in distinct manners are discussed here with particular emphasis on their effects on fuel metabolism and mitochondrial function.

Abstract: This paper will build up a model about the dynamic relationship between scientific innovation and economic growth in Beijing, with VAR model (Vector Autoregressive Model), and choose the quantity of patent applications, sum of business transactions in the market of technologies and the foreign direct investment as its indicators of science and technology output, GDP as its indicator of economic growth, which finally uses variance decomposition analysis. The research shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between scientific innovation and economic growth, and both have interactivity which means that scientific innovation promotes economic growth and economic growth boosts the scientific innovation.

Abstract: This study examines the South Korean and Philippine telecoms service market liberalization in the 1990s. It does not simply compare the two countries' market liberalization cases with its trajectories and outcomes, but also sheds light on the implications of market liberalization towards the international and domestic socioeconomic order. It likewise draws attention to the question whether the global mega-trend of market liberalization addresses both material prosperity and social equality regardless of the country where one lives. The research contends that if the study of the telecoms market liberalization chiefly focuses on the economic efficiency based on market figures, it might produce a biased perception of the related issues. In order to strengthen the field of telecoms study, future research should give same weight to context-based political economy studies, which could see economic development from a normative perspective in terms of social justice and equality, both domestically and internationally.

Abstract: Recently,directly acting antiviral agents against hepatitic C virus with different mechanisms have been developed and put into clinical trials.Especially,results of phase Ⅲ clinical trials of Boceprevir and Telaprevir have been published,and these two agents are to be approved for marketing in recent years.Also much attention has been paid on anti-viral resistance against direct acting antiviral agents.Great progresses have been made in field of direct acting antiviral agents against hepatitic C virus.Domestic studies in this area should take characteristics of virus and host of Chinese chronic hepatitis C into consideration.
Rate-Based Active Queue Management for TCP Flows over Wired and Wireless Networks

Abstract: Current active queue management (AQM) and TCP protocol are designed and tuned to work well on wired networks where packet loss is mainly due to network congestion. In wireless networks, however, communication links suffer from significant transmission bit errors and handoff failures. As a result, the performance of TCP flows is significantly degraded. To mitigate this problem, we analyze existing AQM schemes and propose a rate-based exponential AQM (REAQM) scheme. The proposed REAQM scheme uses the input rate as a primary metric and queue length as the secondary metric. The objectives of REAQM are to stabilize networks with low packet loss, low packet delay, and high link utilization regardless the dynamic of network conditions. We prove the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium based on Lyapunov theory. Simulation results suggest that REAQM is capable of performing well for TCP flows over both wired and wireless networks, and has comparable implementation complexity as other AQM schemes.
