Los cultivos de frijol y maíz de grano bajo condiciones de secano en Zacatecas, México de 1980 a 2008 The crops of bean and maize under dry land conditions in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico from 1980 to 2008

Abstract: Los cultivos de frijol y maíz de grano son los más importantes agrícola, social y económicamente en el estado de Zacatecas, desde hace muchos a os. Los objetivos principales de este trabajo fueron: ver si la superficie sembrada, la siniestrada, la producción y el rendimiento unitario de frijol y maíz de grano cultivados bajo condiciones de secano del estado de Zacatecas han variado de 1980 a 2008; y evaluar que tanto afecta la precipitación a estas variables. Se usaron los datos que la SAGARPA pública a través de internet. Se obtuvieron las correlaciones y regresiones entre los datos de las variables de cada cultivo, para hacer un análisis más preciso. Se encontró que el volumen de precipitación registrado durante el ciclo de cultivo y su distribución, afectaron considerablemente la superficie sembrada, la siniestrada, el rendimiento unitario y el volumen de producción de grano de frijol y maíz de secano. La superficie siniestrada de frijol (15.2%) fue inferior a la de maíz (18.6%); la de frijol aumentó 543 ha por cada milímetro de precipitación menos y la de maíz en 256 ha. El rendimiento medio de frijol de secano se incrementó 1.62% por a o, y maíz 1.46%. La superficie sembrada de frijol disminuyó significativamente en los últimos a os por efecto del programa de reconversión productiva, al aumentar principalmente las superficies de avena y maíz forrajeros. The bean and maize grain crops have been the most important, agriculturally, socially and economically in the State of Zacatecas, for many years. Abstract: Nowadays, Cloud computing has become essential support for online education. Growth and interest in the massive open online courses (MOOCs) hosted on cloud, as well as the large number of students with own device (BYOD) set a favorable scenario for a new model of cooperation and interaction for online education. In this paper we present the results of collaborative work in the cloud, using Google Apps services and MOOCs, in conducting laboratory reports for the subjects of chemistry, and based on this experience we propose an architecture for platforms e-learning and mechanisms for collaborative work in cloud applied to the laboratories.

Abstract:

This report describes the procedure to develop mathematical literacy through learning basic mathematical concepts, and applying the acquired knowledge for the development of elemental software to be used as academic tool. Basic operations with matrix were performed using open and commercial sources software. A simple and basic matrix calculator were developed integrating mathematical concepts and software development skills, and the deliverable was a calculator developed on Java platform. The procedure started from a traditional classroom explanation; worked on calculus worksheet, solving some academic problems about addition, subtracted product of two matrix, following by the use of some commercial software, and finally the development of the own academic tool. These works were developed into the frame of competency based education system.

Abstract:

Teaching telecommunications theory for Engineering Technologies Information students can be viewed as an interesting challenge. This is mainly due to Telecommunications theory which integrates knowledge about two basic sciences: physics and mathematics. The proposal explained in this paper focused on obtaining and deeply understanding the physical concepts related to the theory of telecommunications, rather than memorizing equations, which most of the time would not make sense for students. Engineering students work focusing on learning the physical and mathematical concepts, was able to design and develop academic tools with two important characteristics for Universities with low budget: easy to use and inexpensive. Therefore, the teaching-learning process is more efficient being adjusted to their endemic circumstances about understanding, knowledge application and few economic resources. Moreover those students were facing less problems understanding and handling the mathematical equations related to the telecommunications theory. Following the proposed procedure, students have designed and built academic tools, such as videos, crosswords, C# applications, graphing on worksheets, and so on. To monitor progress weekly, evaluation was conducted using questionnaires without equations, which were evaluated by the students themselves. Electronic and pedagogical tools were combined to design specific audiovisual aids to facilitate and assure that students were obtaining and retaining those physical and mathematical concepts before starting the equations handling. Abstract: Este artículo analiza la experiencia del primer sistema de transporte masivo que tuvo la ciudad de Medellín (Colombia), el tranvía eléctrico, del proceso de surgimiento, construcción y consolidación de este medio de transporte. Se examina su funcionamiento como proyecto empresarial oficial y las diferentes circunstancias que lo llevaron a ser el eje del sistema vial y las crisis que finalmente producen su declive y su cierre.
