Forma??o profissional e futuro: expectativas dos adolescentes aprendizes
Macêdo, Orlando Júnior Viana;Alberto, Maria de Fátima Pereira;Araujo, Anísio José da Silva;
Estudos de Psicologia (Campinas) , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-166X2012000500014
Abstract: in this article, adolescent apprentices' expectations for the future were discussed. the study included 16 subjects aged 14 to 18 years old, both male and female, from servi?o nacional de aprendizagem do comércio administrative services course. a qualitative methodology including individual and collective semi-structured interviews was used. thematic analysis technique was used to analyze data. the speeches show that the adolescents yearn for higher education professions as well high school professions, and that the program can help them to achieve such expectations through experience and discipline. their subjectivity is seen as a residue of the production process of a society, modeled under the logic of capital, so that when they are trained for the world of work, the subjects seem to be incapable of assigning a new meaning to their dreams and wishes; and they do not perceive that these also form part of the relationship with the social world, thus concealing the structural causes of their success and failure.

Abstract: this work studied the anti-inflammatory activities of the hydroalcoholic extracts (haes) from erythrina velutina willd. (ev) and e. mulungu mart. ex benth. (em) in the carrageenan- and dextran-induced mice hind paw edema models. these medicinal plants belonging to the fabaceae family are used in some brazilian communities to treat pain, inflammation, insomnia and disorders of the central nervous system. in the present work, the extracts were administered orally in male mice at the doses of 200 or 400 mg/kg. in the carrageenan-induced test, only em showed anti-inflammatory activity, decreasing the paw edema, at the doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg. no effect was observed with ev in this model. on the other hand, in the dextran model, ev demonstrated anti-inflammatory effect, showing decrease of the paw edema at the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 24th h. em (200 or 400 mg/kg) presented anti-inflammatory effect at the 2, 3 and 4th h after administration of dextran, as compared to control. in conclusion, the work showed that ev and em present anti-edematous actions, which possibly occurs by distinct mechanisms. while ev seems to interfere especially in inflammatory processes in which mast cells have an important role, em exerts greater activity in the inflammatory process that depends mainly on polymorphonuclear leucocytes. however, further studies are needed to determine the exact mechanism of action of the species investigated.
O sentido da forma??o profissional no contexto da aprendizagem
Macêdo, Orlando Júnior Viana;Alberto, Maria de Fátima Pereira;
Estudos de Psicologia (Natal) , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-294X2012000200005
Abstract: this article discusses the meaning of work training. qualitative methodology was prioritized by using semi-structured interviews. sixteen individuals were analyzed, aged between 14 to 18, in the city of jo?o pessoa-pb. the data were analyzed by means of thematic analysis technique. the lines denoted that adolescents seek the program because they see in it the opportunity of insertion in the labor market, as well as earning an income. learning came in third level. after that experience they have become more "disciplined" and assimilated "theoretical contents" of the course. administrative, supportive and commercial sectors activities were also performed. the construction of a subjectivity modeled under the logic of capital is perceived, once the individuals are prepared for the employment world, considering what they expect from themselves as future employees. from this, elements stand out indicating that such proposal fits into a professional training philosophy that aims to tame into a position within the production process.

Abstract: quali-quantitative studies and hydrologic parameters were carried out in the profiles 6 (orange) and 7 (catuama) during the victor hensen cruise, in accordance with the bilateral scientific cooperation agreement brazil/germany. hydrologically a zone of thermic and saline stability characterizes the superficial layer. the nutrient concentrations were generally low on the surface and higher at levels surpassing 100m in depth. 102 taxa were identified including diatoms (49), dinoflagellates (49), bluegreen algae (3), and euglenophyceae (1). the diversity and evenness were high, surpassing the environmental equilibrium. the clustering of samples showed evidence of 2 main groups, one encompassing the stations 32 and 38, characterized predominantly by oscillatoria erythraeum, and another encompassing the remaining stations, characterized by dinoflagellates and diatoms. the clustering of species involved 4 groups, the biggest being oceanic marine species (49 species) and coastal and eurihaline marine species (31 species). the phytoplankton density varied from 50,000 cell.l-1 to 590,000 cell.l-1, characterizing an oligotrophic environment.

This article presents and discusses concepts and views that help understand features and peculiarities of the organizational culture in public organizations in Brazil. It begins by discussing the concepts and different approaches to culture and organizational culture, specifically by Fleury, Frost, Schein, and Hofstede. It then deals with the culture of public organizations, presenting a brief history of these organizations in Brazil, as well as their concepts and features, among which bureaucracy, centralized authoritarianism, patronizing, lack of continuity, and political interference stand out. Such characteristics interfere with the way people work in these organizations, where attachment to rules and routines, hierarchy overrating, patronizing, and attachment to power can be identified. This is important for the definition of internal processes, for the way people relate to innovation and change, for the construction of organizational values and beliefs, and for human resource policies. The article concludes by pointing out the fundamental features to be considered when dealing with the culture of public organizations in Brazil.
