Abstract: in this paper we presented a quantitative evaluation methodology and analysis, the reconstruction of texture models, from some method of texture mapping. the methodology consists on the definition of five metrics, which establish the relationship and correspondence between the 3d information and the texture. the metric ones presented they are applied to a single range image or a totally reconstructed texture model.

Abstract: En este artículo se presenta una metodología de evaluación y análisis de forma cuantitativa, la reconstrucción de modelos texturados a partir la aplicación de algún método de mapeo de texturas. La metodología consiste en la definición de cinco métricas, las cuales establecen la relación y correspondencia entre la información 3D y la textura. Las métricas presentadas son aplicadas a una sola imagen de rango o a un modelo texturado completamente reconstruido.

Abstract: Dans cet article, nous pr\'esentons une m\'ethode pour la d\'etection et la classification d'artefacts au niveau du sol, comme phase de filtrage pr\'ealable \`a la mod\'elisation d'environnements urbains. La m\'ethode de d\'etection est r\'ealis\'ee sur l'image profondeur, une projection de nuage de points sur un plan image o\`u la valeur du pixel correspond \`a la distance du point au plan. En faisant l'hypoth\`ese que les artefacts sont situ\'es au sol, ils sont d\'etect\'es par une transformation de chapeau haut de forme par remplissage de trous sur l'image de profondeur. Les composantes connexes ainsi obtenues, sont ensuite caract\'eris\'ees et une analyse des variables est utilis\'ee pour la s\'election des caract\'eristiques les plus discriminantes. Les composantes connexes sont donc classifi\'ees en quatre cat\'egories (lampadaires, pi\'etons, voitures et "Reste") \`a l'aide d'un algorithme d'apprentissage supervis\'e. La m\'ethode a \'et\'e test\'ee sur des nuages de points de la ville de Paris, en montrant de bons r\'esultats de d\'etection et de classification dans l'ensemble de donn\'ees.---In this article, we present a method for detection and classification of artifacts at the street level, in order to filter cloud point, facilitating the urban modeling process. Our approach exploits 3D information by using range image, a projection of 3D points onto an image plane where the pixel intensity is a function of the measured distance between 3D points and the plane. By assuming that the artifacts are on the ground, they are detected using a Top-Hat of the hole filling algorithm of range images. Then, several features are extracted from the detected connected components and a stepwise forward variable/model selection by using the Wilk's Lambda criterion is performed. Afterward, CCs are classified in four categories (lampposts, pedestrians, cars and others) by using a supervised machine learning method. The proposed method was tested on cloud points of Paris, and have shown satisfactory results on the whole dataset.
On the nature of the melting line of bcc sodium

Abstract: Recent experiments have obtained the melting line of sodium up to pressures of about 130 GPa, finding that the melting line from the {\em bcc} phase reaches a maximum at a temperature of {\em c.a.} 1000 K and a pressure of 31 GPa, and at higher pressures the fusion temperature decreases continuously up to 118 GPa. Here we report results of a study based on first principles molecular dynamics, clarifying the nature of the maximum and subsequent decreasing behavior found in the melting line of sodium.

Abstract:

Surface Electromyography (sEMG) activities of the four muscles were studied from twelve healthy subjects to analyze muscle fatigue. Data were recorded while subjects performed isometric exercises for a period of time until fatigue. The signal was segmented with 5000 samples to enable the evolutionary process. Based on the mean power spectrum and Median Frequency (MDF) of each segment, we developed a methodology that is able to detect the signal into a meaningful sequence of Non-Fatigue to Transition-to-Fatigue. By identifying this transitional fatigue stage, it is possible to predict when fatigue will occur, which provides the foundation of the automated system that has the potential to aid in many applications of our lives, including sports, rehabilitation and ergonomics.

Abstract: En este artículo, se presenta el dise o y la implementación de una maquina de vector de soporte (SVM) sobre un dispositivo lógico programable (PLD). La maquina es utilizada para solucionar el problema de la XOR. Además, se presenta la implementación del estándar IEEE 754 para la representación de números en punto flotante. La arquitectura del sistema implementado es descrito en detalle y sintetizada sobre una tarjeta del sistema de desarrollo con un arreglo de compuerta programable por campo - FPGA (ALTERA FLEX10K).

Abstract: A holographic interpretation for some specific Ricci flat string backgrounds of the form $A_6\times C_4$ is proposed. The conjecture is that there is a Four-dimensional Euclidean Conformal Field Theory (ECFT) defined on a codimension two {\em submanifold} of the manifold $A_6$ (where one of the two remaining {\em holographic} coordinates of $A_6$ is timelike, and the other one spacelike), with central charge proportional to the radius of curvature of the six-dimensional manifold, $c\sim l^4$.

Abstract: The obstruction for a perturbative reconstruction of the five-dimensional bulk metric starting from the four-dimensional metric at the boundary,that is, the Dirichlet problem, is computed in dimensions $6\leq d\leq 10$ and some comments are made on its general structure and, in particular, on its relationship with the conformal anomaly, which we compute in dimension $d=8$.
