Abstract: the male of elanela hevera rolston et alii, 1980 and the female of nocheta adda rolston et alii, 1980 are described for the first time. a complete study of external genitalia for both sexes of e. hevera and n. adda is also presented.

Abstract: taurocerus amyot & serville, 1843 is revised based on morphology of male and female genitalia. four species are recognized: t. edessoides (spinola, 1837), t. achiles st?l, 1862, t. abruptus (walker, 1867), and t. amazonensis sp. nov. illustrations of male and female genitalia and a key for the species are provided.

Abstract: runibia st?l, 1861 is redescribed, as well as the species r. dallasi rider, 1998, r. decorata (dallas, 1851), r. discoidea (fabricius, 1787), r. euopta (walker, 1867) and r. perspicua (fabricius, 1798). a new species, r. caribeana, is described from virgin islands. strachia alligata walker, 1867, r. decorata var. alligata, and r. picturata breddin, 1904 were considered junior synonyms of r. decorata. lectotypes of r. dallasi, r. euopta and r. alligata were designated. male and female genitalia for all species are described, except the phallus and ectodermal genital duct for r. dallasi. a key and a geographical distribution map are also provided.

Abstract: brachystethus laporte, 1832 is revised. brachystethus coxalis breddin, 1904, b. cribrus (fabricius, 1781), b. geniculatus (fabricius, 1787), b. improvisus breddin, 1905, b. rubromaculatus dallas, 1851, b. signoreti st?l, 1872, b. tricolor bolívar, 1879, b. vexillum breddin, 1903 and b. vicinus signoret, 1851 are redescribed based on morphological characters, with emphasis on genitalia of both sexes. a new species, b. schuhi, from guyana, is described, and b. discolor (walker, 1867), incertae sedis, is removed from the genus. illustrations and a key for species of brachystethus are provided.

Abstract: in this paper, three new species are described: ablaptus bolivianus, n. sp. and a. simillimus, n. sp. from bolivia, and a. lopesi, n. sp. from brazil. a detailed study of the male genitalia is included, and the relarionships of the genus ablaptus are discussed.

Abstract: a new genus, pentatomiana, and a new species, p. beckerae, are described, based on specimens from rio de janeiro and santa catarina states, brazil. brachyptery is present in the males of the new species. pentatomiana gen. nov. is compared with lojus mcdonald, 1982, which also presents brachyptery in one of the species, but in females. illustrations of male and female external genitalia are provided.

Abstract: dinocoris burmeister 1835 is revised on the basis of a morphological study emphasizing genitalia and the geographical distribution of the species. fifteen species - five new - are recognized, and are here grouped in two subgenera. subgenus dinocoris burmeister, 1835 includes d. (d) variolosus (linnaeus, 1758); d. (d.) histrio (linnaeus, 1758); d. (d.) maculatus (laporte, 1832); d. (d) corrosus (herrich-schaeffer, 1844); d. (d.) antennatus (dallas, 1851); d. (d.) gibbus (dallas, 1852); d. (d.) ramosus (walker, 1868); d. (d.) gibbosus (fallou, 1889) d. (d.) rufitarsus ruckes, 1958; d. (d.) reticulatus, sp. n.; d. (d.) fabricii, sp. n.; and d. (d.) nigroantennatus, sp. n. subgenus praedinocoris, subg. n. includes d. (p.) lineatus (dallas, 1852); d. (p.) prolineatus, sp. n.; and d. (p.) nigrodecoratus, sp. n. bryelica walker, 1868 is considered a junior synonym of dinocoris. an illustration of the dorsal facies is given for d. (d.) reticulatus, sp. n., d. (p.) prolineatus, sp. n. and for d. (p.) nigrodecoratus, sp. n. the male and female genitalia are illustrated for all species. a key is given to saparate suggenera and species.
