Estrutura produtiva, rela??es intersetoriais e cooperativas agropecuárias no Paraná em 1980 e 1985
Rodrigues, Rossana Lott;Guilhoto, Joaquim J. M.;
Revista de Economia e Sociologia Rural , 2004, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-20032004000200004
Abstract: this paper delimits and characterizes the cooperative sector in parana economy and breaks down the agricultural sectors and the components of food processing industries of input-output tables, built for state for the years of 1980 and 1985, in cooperative and non-cooperative sectors. the goal is to characterize, in systemic order, the intersectorial relations outline, detect the key- sectors and verify the evolution of the productive structure in parana, highlighting the sectors related to cooperatives. the analysis is made for 40 sectors. the main conclusions showed that: paper prod. & printing and textiles sectors were key-sectors in 1980 and 1985, therefore, dynamic and important sectors for the state's economic growth; the productive structure of parana proved to be more diversified from 1980 to 1985, showing consequent increase of economic complexity; the agricultural cooperatives technical coefficient were very similar to the non-cooperatives, showing that the first are closely following the technological evolution occurred in the non-cooperatives that act in agricultural sector and food processing industries.
Pereira,Júlio Cesar Rodrigues;
Revista de Saúde Pública , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S0034-89102006000400020
Abstract: objective: to recognize the characteristics and path taken by the through analysis of the scientific production it has published over the period from 1967 to 2005. methods: scientometric methods were used to analyze reference data on the articles published in the revista, retrieved from the databases isi/thomson scientific (web of science), national library of medicine (pubmed) and scientific electronic library online (scielo). results: the revista is the only brazilian publication in the field of public health that is indexed by isi/thomson scientific. it is prominent as a medium for publishing brazilian scientific production in public health and is displaying a geometric increase in publication and citation, with annual rates of 4.4% and 12.7%, respectively. the mean number of authors per paper has risen from 2 to 3.5 over recent years. although original research articles predominate, the numbers of reviews, multicenter studies, clinical trials and validation studies have been increasing. the number of articles published in foreign languages has also increased, accounting for 13% of the total, and the leading countries originating these are the uk, usa, argentina and mexico. the number and diversity of journals citing the journal has been increasing, many of which are non-brazilian. authorship per author shows good fit to lotka's law, but the parameters suggest greater concentration and less dispersion than would be expected. among the fields of interest of published papers, the following topics account for more than 50% of the total volume: infectious-parasitic diseases and vectors; health promotion, policies and administration; and epidemiology, surveillance and disease control. conclusions: the revista shows great dynamism, without signs of abating or reaching a plateau any time soon. there are signs of progressively increasing complexity in the studies published, and more multidisciplinary work. the revista seems to be widening its outreach and recognition, wh

Duran, Joaquim Alex Rodrigues;Campelo Júnior, José Holanda;
Revista árvore , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-67622008000500013
Abstract: the objective of this work was to evaluate the simulation model enwatbal's performance in the estimate of the soil water amount variation in an agroforestry system. the amount of measured soil water was compared with the estimated amount to validate the model. the estimate's standard error showed variations between 0.02 and 0.1 m3 m-3 for volumetric moisture and 8.66 to 22 mm for soil water storage. the lesser standard errors of the estimate were found at depths between 0.3 - 0.6 m, followed by depths of 0.6 - 0.9 and 0.0 - 0.3 m. the agreement index varied from 0.51 to 0.93, with the highest values being found at the depth of 0.3 - 0.6 m and the lowest at the depths of 0 - 0.3 and 0.3 - 0.6 m. water use efficiency varied from 1.70 g kg-1 to 2.43 g kg-1, for teak, 0.13 to 1.29 g kg-1 for cassava, and 0.53 at 0.71 g kg-1 for maize. in the consortium of annual crops and trees, it was verified that teak consumed a greater amount of water than cassava and maize. cassava presented a lesser competition for water than maize, in the respective cycles.
