Inspection on Reality of Kindergarten Teachers’ Educational Behaviors
—A Case Study in China

Abstract: The research selects 20 kindergarten teachers in urban and rural areas in Chongqing as the samples and adopts time sampling observation method to investigate into kindergarten teachers’ educational behaviors from seven perspectives, i.e. education & teaching, participation into children’s activities, daily behavioral management, observation& monitoring, custody and emotional expression, teachers’ daily activities and teachers’ personal activities. Research results show that kindergarten teachers’ educational behaviors have improved better than before and become more and more reasonable. However, there are still some problems, such as excessive teaching and requirements, inadequate listening to children’s ideas and stimulation of their initiatives, low effectiveness of evaluation on children’s behaviors, excessive orders and interventions in daily management, inadequate emotional exchanges between teachers and children, insufficient care for children’s individual demands, etc.

Abstract: Since the Peace Treaty of Westphalia, the nation-states have been always important actors in international relations and on the international stage. However with the process of European integration, the traditional attitudes have brought out great challenges to existing theories and generated an academic debate. Deepening and enlargement of European integration have also led to the development of IR theories. Now three competing theories emerged from IR to dominate the debate over the development in European integration and there were the neo-functionalism, the inter-governmentalism and the multi-level governance.

LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) composite cathode materials were prepared through in-situ polymerization of thiophene monomer (EDOT), with ammonium persulphate (APS) as oxidizing agent, p-toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) as dopant. The morphology, amount of PEDOT coating, electrochemical properties of LNMO/PEDOT were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and galvanostatic charge and discharge tests. The results show that the composite materials show better cycle performance than bare LNMO.

Abstract: Textile clothing is an important backbone industry in China. China is the No.1 in the production and export of clothing in the world. Its gross clothing export accounts for one fourth total global clothing trade. After a period of development, the general industrial structure is composed of the fashionable dress industry, the clothing-processing industry, and the clothing industry. In 2005, the quota for textile products was canceled for the first time. The quota system that has restricted the export of textile clothing products for a long period retreated from the history forever. World textile clothing industry enters a brand-new age. The development trend of China’s clothing industry will focus on: scale, information, brand, and fashion. Confronting with favorable and unfavorable factors, we should hold five countermeasures: brand development strategy, technique talent strategy, total costs superiority strategy, supply chain advantage strategy, and standard qualification strategy.

Abstract: Damage reliability analysis is an emerging field of structural engineering which is very significant in structures of great importance like arch dams, large concrete gravity dams etc. The research objective is to design and construct an improved method for damage reliability analysis for concrete gravity dam. Firstly, pseudo excitation method and Mazar damage model were used to analyze how to calculate damage expected value excited by random seismic loading and deterministic static load on the condition that initial elastic modulus was deterministic. Moreover, response surface method was improved from the aspects of the regression of sample points, the selection of experimental points, the determined method of weight matrix and the calculation method of checking point respectively. Then, the above method was used to analyze guarantee rate of damage expected value excited by random seismic loading and deterministic static load on the condition that initial elastic modulus was random. Finally, a test example was given to verify and analyze the convergence and stability of this method. Compared with other conventional algorithm, this method has some strong points: this algorithm has good convergence and stability and greatly enhances calculation efficiency and the storage efficiency. From what has been analyzed, we find that damage expected value is insensitive to the randomness of initial elastic modulus so we can neglect the randomness of initial elastic modulus in some extent when we calculate damage expected value.
Anisotropic WM conductivity reconstruction based on diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging: a simulation study  [PDF]

Abstract: The present study aims to estimate the in vivo anisotropic conductivities of the White Matter (WM) tissues by means of Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance Tomography (MREIT) technique. The realistic anisotropic volume conductor model with different conductivity properties (scalp, skull, CSF, gray matter and WM) is constructed based on the Diffusion Tensor Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DT- MRI) from a healthy human subject. The Radius Basic Function (RBF)-MREIT algorithm of using only one magnetic flux density component was applied to evaluate the eigenvalues of the anisotropic WM with target values set according to the DT-MRI data based on the Wolter’s model, which is more physiologically reliable. The numerical simulations study performed on the five-layer realistic human head model showed that the conductivity reconstruction method had higher accuracy and better robustness against noise. The pilot research was used to judge the feasibility, meaningfulness and reliability of the MREIT applied on the electrical impedance tomography of the complicated human head tissues including anisotropic characteristics.

Abstract: The research objective is to design and construct a method for functional reliability analysis of concrete gravity dam. Firstly, the pseudo excitation method was utilized to analyze to calculate the probabilistic characteristics of concrete gravity dam excited by random seismic loading. Meanwhile, the response surface method based on weighted regression was associated to that method to analyze functional reliability of concrete gravity dam. Eventually, a test example was given to verify and analyze the convergence and stability of this method.

Abstract: The LTE and LTE-Advanced systems are supposed to be the most popular cellular network in 4Gnetworks. Relay technology is one of the most preferred technologies proposed in LTE-Advanced standardization to improve the capacity and coverage. This paper analyses the handover outage probability through relay deployment, and proposes some proofs and suggestions for relay deployment to minimize the handover outage probability in high speed scenarios.
Application and Generalization of Eigenvalues Perturbation Bounds for Hermitian Block Tridiagonal Matrices  [PDF]

The paper contains two parts. First, by applying the results about the eigenvalue perturbation bounds for Hermitian block tridiagonal matrices in paper [1], we obtain a new efficient method to estimate the perturbation bounds for singular values of block tridiagonal matrix. Second, we consider the perturbation bounds for eigenvalues of Hermitian matrix with block tridiagonal structure when its two adjacent blocks are perturbed simultaneously. In this case, when the eigenvalues of the perturbed matrix are well-separated from the spectrum of the diagonal blocks, our eigenvalues perturbation bounds are very sharp. The numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of our methods.

Minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO), which is developed under the guidance of biological osteosynthesis (BO) rules, can achieve faster and better rehabilitation. MIPO is mainly used in long bone fractures such as humerus, tibia and femur, but the technique is distinctive in each fracture site. The operative method, experimental outcome and comparison with other internal fixation methods will be discussed to determine whether MIPO is the best method or alternative method in fracture treatment. Other technique such as less invasive stabilizing system (LISS), which is developed on the basis of MIPO will also be introduced. In this review article, a general view of recent development MIPO is to be given.
