Measuring Dependence Risk of Funds with Copula in China  [PDF]

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to measure dependence risk of fund market with copulas in China. Firstly, we introduce several common copula functions, then estimate parameters of copula function, and discuss how to select the optimal copula function. Finally, according to Shanghai and Shenzhen fund data, empirical analysis was done. Different combinations of risk values were obtained.

Synthesis, Characterization, and Activity of Tin Oxide Nanoparticles: Influence of Solvothermal Time on Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B  [PDF]

The SnO2 spheres-like nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized by a microwave solvothermal method, in which SnCl2·2H2O, poly(vinylpyrrolidone) PVP, H2O2 and NaOH as raw materials. The as-synthesized products have been characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, and UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer. Photocatalytic activities of the samples have been evaluated by the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under UV-light illumination. Results showed that these products with diameter about 1 - 2 μm, and when the reaction time prolong, the surface of the SnO2 spheres will change to rough and then smooth when the time even longer. The product with nanorods on its surface shows the higher photocatalytic activity and red shift in the UV-vis absorption, which are relative to the unique structure. At last we studied the electron transfer reactions during photo-oxidation of RhB.

Abstract: Compared with 2D tumor cell culture, 3D tumor cell culture can better simulate the microenvironment of signal transduction between cells and extracellular matrix. As one of the best cell models in tumor research, it has been widely used in the study of cancer cell morphology, nanotechnology drug delivery system, and anticancer drug screening. The main theme of this paper is to review the previous research of 3D cell culture applying to tumors in vitro and the prospects for the applications of 3D cell culture system.

Abstract: 摘要:研制了基于0.5 μm 标准CMOS工艺的,用于气压测量的片上微机电系统。传感器采用微热板结构并与轨至轨运算放大器及8 位逐次逼近式模数转换器进行单片集成。微热板上的钨电阻作为敏感元件用来测量气压变化。牺牲层由多晶硅制作,并采用表面微加工工艺进行腐蚀。配置运算放大器使传感器工作在恒电流模式。系统输出一组数字位流。测量结果表明:真空传感器的气压敏感区间是1-105 Pa。在1-100 Pa的气压范围内,传感器的灵敏度为0.23 mV/ Pa,线性度为4.95%,最大迟滞为8.69%。运算放大器能不失真地驱动200 Ω的电阻,SAR A/D转换器在采样频率为100 kHz时有效位为7.4位。运算放大器及SAR A/D转换器的性能满足传感器系统的要求。

Abstract: In this paper, a SVM classifier based on S-Transform is presented for power quality disturbances classification. Firstly, seven types of PQ events are created using Matlab simulation. These signals are analyzed to detect and localize PQ events via S-Transform by visual inspection. Then five significant features of the PQ disturbances are extracted from the S-Transform output. Afterwards, PQ disturbance samples with the five features are fed to SVM for training and automatic classification. Besides, particle swarm optimization is implemented to improve the performance of SVM. The results of the classification indicate that SVM classifier is an effective mechanism to detect and classify power quality disturbances.
Effectiveness of an Indoor Air Pollution (IAP) Intervention on Reducing IAP and Improving Women’s Health Status in Rural Areas of Gansu Province, China  [PDF]

Abstract: Given the deleterious health effects associated with indoor air pollution (IAP), this study was conducted to evaluate an IAP intervention in rural areas in Gansu, one of the poorest provinces of China. We selected 371 rural households to take part in intervention measures including stove improvement and health education. Eight of 371 households were selected to conduct IAP sampling. Four hundred and thirteen women in these households completed a questionnaire and 49 women took part in lung function tests. After the intervention, PM4 levels reduced from 455 μg/m3 to 200 μg/m3 and CO reduced from 3.40 ppm to 2.90 ppm in indoor air. The percentage of predicted value of FEV1 and FVC improved to some degree after the intervention, but all the parameters of lung function assessment did not show a significant change. Prevalence rates of several symptoms associated with IAP significantly declined in the study population, compared with baseline levels. Intervention measures combining stove improvement with health education were effective in reducing IAP levels. Women’s health status, including eye and respiratory symptoms, also showed improvement. However, the effect on lung function was not apparent and warranted additional follow-up. Similarly, evaluation of the long term effects of the IAP intervention will require future studies.

Abstract: This article introduces the design of storage batter charge/discharge equalization system of the electrical cars based on HT46R47. Because it becomes into one difficulty in the development of electrical cars that the characters of the battery decides the equalization of the battery electric quantity, so this system adopts the equalization management to the storage battery charge/discharge, adjusts the unsuited batteries (over charge/over discharge) in the initial adjustment process, and implements equalization in the later charge process. The system makes the use capacity and the cycle life of the storage battery fully enhance. At the same time, this charger adopts the SCM as the main control component, which has many advantages such as simple and credible circuit, short charge time, low power consumption, low use trouble rate and so on.
