Does Shareholder’s Share Pledge Induce High Stock Dividends? —An Empirical Test Based on the Data of GEM Companies  [PDF]

Abstract: The high delivery of listed companies is a unique way of dividends. Although there is no change in the company’s operating capacity, it always attracts market attention and causes stock prices to rise in the short term. However, this kind of non-substantial dividends often masks. The major shareholders of listed companies reduced their holdings to cover the lifting of bans and other benefits. As a refinancing method for listed companies, equity pledges require the stability of stock prices due to the existence of passive liquidation lines, especially in the process of market volatility and continuous shift of focus. This paper first summarizes the previous studies on the behavior of high dividends, and uses the GEM as the background, using the data from 2015 to 2018, based on the previous research, adding the factor of equity pledge, using the Logit model to study nearly three The impact of the equity pledge rate of the listed companies on the GEM on the probability of the “high-delivery” dividend policy announced by major shareholders was attempted to make recommendations for the newly introduced “high-stock dividends new regulations”.

Abstract:
With the acceleration of urbanization, a large number of rural labor forces have been transferred. As the basic means of production, land circulation is becoming more and more frequent. Scale management and land circulation have become the necessary trend of agricultural modernization. Based on the purpose of maximizing the interests of the participants and further optimizing the allocation efficiency of land resources in the process of land transfer, this paper constructs a dual principal-agent model of farmers and intermediary organizations, intermediary organizations and scale operators, which is multi-to-one and one-to-many principal-agent relationship respectively, and finds out the optimal level of effort. Finally, it analyses the influence of different factors on the interests, and puts forward some suggestions to the principal and agent based on the analysis results, in order to promote the further development of the land circulation market.
Flocking Control of a Group of Agents Using a Fuzzy-Logic-Based Attractive/Repulsive Function  [PDF]

Abstract: In this study, a novel procedure is presented for control and analysis of a group of autonomous agents with point mass dynamics achieving flocking motion by using a fuzzy-logic-based attractive/repulsive function. Two cooperative control laws are proposed for a group of autonomous agents to achieve flocking formations related to two different centers (mass center and geometric center) of the flock. The first one is designed for flocking motion guided at mass center and the other for geometric center. A virtual agent is introduced to represent a group objective for tracking purposes. Smooth graph Laplacian is introduced to overcome the difficulties in theoretical analysis. A new fuzzy-logic-based attractive/repulsive function is proposed for separation and cohesion control among agents. The theoretical results are presented to indicate the stability (separation, collision avoidance and velocity matching) of the control systems. Finally, simulation example is demonstrated to validate the theoretical results.
An experimental serum pharmacological study on an application method in traditional Chinese medicine for treatment and prevention of asthma

Abstract: Objective: To study the mechanism of herbal application along meridians for treatment and prevention of asthma by using serum pharmacological test to observe the effects of serum containing herbs against the constriction of tracheal spiral strips induced by acetylcholine chloride (Ach). Methods: Guinea pigs were randomly divided into normal control group, normal saline (NS) application group, aminophylline application group, aminophylline injection group, 1-day herb application group, 7-day herb application group and 14-day herb application group. Asthma was induced by Hutson's method in guinea pigs except the normal control group. Guinea pigs in herb application groups were treated by external application of a compound herbal medicine 60 min once every day. Guinea pigs in NS application group were treated by external application of NS. Guinea pigs in the two aminophylline-treated groups were treated by external application and intraperitoneal injection of aminophylline at a dose of 400 mg/kg, respectively. The guinea pigs were killed and the sera were obtained after 1-day, 7-day and 14-day treatment in the three herb application groups, 7-day treatment in the NS application group, the aminophylline application and injection groups, respectively. Serum pharmacological method was used to do the experiment, the effects of different sera on the constriction of tracheal strips were observed, and the constriction rates were calculated. Result: The serum containing herbs had an effect in reducing the constriction of tracheal spiral strips induced by Ach, and the effect was similar to that of the serum obtained from the aminophylline injection group. The constriction rate of the tracheal spiral strips was decreased when herbal application treatment was prolonged within a period of time, and it became stable when herbal application treatment was between 7-14 days. The constriction of tracheal spiral strips induced by Ach could be reduced remarkably when it was previously treated by serum containing herbs. Conclusion: The anti-acetylcholine function with a time-dependent effect is one of the mechanisms of herbal application treatment along meridians for asthma, and furthermore, herbal application treatment along meridians might be useful for preventing asthma.

Optimization of the Heat Treatment Parameters for Al-Mg-Si Wrought Alloys Using Taguchi Approach

Abstract: This paper describes a heat treatment process using Taguchi’s robust design method to determine the optimal heat treatment conditions for Al-Mg-Si wrought alloys, which is an alloy used in automotive body panels. Important factors influencing the optimization criteria include solution temperature, solution time, pre-aging temperature, and pre-aging time. The optimal heat-treatment conditions for both microhardness and paint-bake response of the Al-Mg-Si wrought alloys are a solution temperature of 550°C, solution time of 30 min, pre-aging temperature of 90°C, and pre-aging time of 60 min. The optimal conditions for tensile strength are a solution temperature of 530°C, solution time of 60 min, pre-aging temperature of 90°C, and pre-aging time of 30 min. Experimental results indicate that solution temperature is the most significant factor for both microhardness and alloy elongation, solution time is the important factor for yield-strength, and pre-aging temperature is the most significant factor for paint-bake response and ultimate tensile strength.
Effect of Seed Heat-Treatment on the Oxidative Stability of Canola Oil Body Emulsions  [PDF]

Abstract: Enhancement of oxidative stability of canola oil extracted from seed subjected to prior heat-treatment has been attributed to heat-induced generation of antioxidants from phenolic precursors occurring in canola seed. Dispersion of aqueous extracts of intact seed oil bodies (OBs) in water is a novel and interesting way of producing natural and oxidatively stable food emulsions with minimal use of synthetic antioxidants and emulsifiers. As there is growing interest in natural food emulsions containing unsaturated oils, we investigated whether the oxidative stability of canola OB emulsions could be further improved by subjecting canola seed to heat-treatment prior to oil body extraction. Oil-in-water (5%, w/w) emulsions of OBs extracted from canola seed before and after heat-treatment were considerably more resistant to oxidation than emulsions prepared from refined canola oil and Tween? 40 emulsifier. However, only small amounts (0.9% - 4.5% by weight) of the phenolic compounds present in canola seed were transferred to the OBs after aqueous extraction, and consequently there was no discernible effect on oxidative stability as a result of prior heat-treatment of the seed. Thus, in contrast to oil, there is no oxidative stability benefit to be gained by subjecting canola seed to heat-treatment prior to extraction of OBs.

Abstract: Because of rich solar resource and low land cost, a lot of large-scale ground-based grid-connected PV systems have been built in Northwest China. In this paper, some shading phenomena on a grid-connected PV system inNorthwest Chinaare classified and analyzed. Through the I-V curve test of PV modules, it can be seen that dust influence system performance of the grid-connected PV system. And the experimental results have shown that shading could affect the electrical properties of PV modules. Meanwhile, same shading area on different shading positions could have different impacts on the identical PV module.
Effects of Qing’E Formula on the Expression of Bone Metabolic Markers and VDR mRNA in Postmenopausal Osteoporosis Patients  [PDF]

Abstract:
Objectives: To study the partial mechanism of treating postmenopausal osteoporosis patients (POPs) using the ancient recipe of Qing’E Formula (QEF) by observing its effects on bone metabolic markers and VDR mRNA expression in primary POPs. Methods: Analysis was performed on 120 outpatient and inpatient POPs treated in our hospital between January and October 2013, where the patients were randomly divided into Qing’E group (QEF + Caltrate), Calcitriol group (Caltrate + Calcitriol soft capsules), and Compare group (Caltrate), each with a follow-up period of 1 year. Statistical analysis was then performed on bone mineral density, blood bone metabolic markers (β-CTX, N-MID, T-PINP) and changes in VDR mRNA expressions in the POPs before and after the treatments. Results: Prior to the treatments, bone mineral density and blood β-CTX, N-MID, T-PINP and VDR mRNA expression in the 3 groups of POPs exhibited no statistically significant differences, and the blood β-CTX, N-MID, T-PINP and VDR mRNA expression in the control group showed no statistically significant differences before and after the treatments. There were no significant differences in bone mineral density in the Qing’E group and the Calcitriol group before and after the treatments whereas the bone mineral density decreased in the control group after the treatments. As for blood β-CTX, N-MID, T-PINP and VDR mRNA expression, the measurements in POPs in the Qing’E group and the Calcitriol group were significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: By adjusting the VDR mRNA expression, the QEF, a kidney-invigorating Chinese herbal formula, is capable of activating bone metabolism to prohibit further losses of bone mass, thereby preventing the deterioration of osteoporosis.
