Acute Myocardial Infarction in a 26-Year-Old Man with Normal ST-Segment  [PDF]

Abstract: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is rare in young adults. The management of these patients is considered as a clinical challenge. We report the case of a 26-year-old man who was presented to the Emergency Room of Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical University with an acute onset of chest pain. Initially electrocardiogram (ECG) with no evidence of ST-segment abnormalities but QT prolongation a signal of sudden cardiac death, 20 minutes later, it revealed ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Coronary angiography (CAG) demonstrated left main coronary artery occlusion. AMI was diagnosed based on clinical symptom, elevated cardiac biomarkers, electrocardiographic dynamic monitoring and CAG. The awareness of chest pain as possible underlying AMI symptom—especially in young patients presenting with QT prolongation—is crucial for clinical treatment, as a missed diagnosis can worsen the patient’s further prognosis. In addition, reperfusion arrhythmia is a challenge to short-term outcomes of young patients with AMI, so it is necessary to make preoperative risk stratification.
CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF WOMEN LANGUAGE AT THE LEXICAL LEVEL IN SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

Abstract: In this study, the framework of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is used to examine the common sense assumptions about gender that underlie the use of language in Sense and Sensibility in British society. CDA recognizes that common sense assumptions allow human beings to interpret language and to make sense of the social world; at the same time these assumptions are also permeated with ideologiesthat contribute to the construction and revalidation of unequal power relations. This study, then, as a part of highlighting the saliency of gender as a social category in Sense and Sensibility in British society, illustrates inequalities in the assumptions about women and men that are embedded in the linguistic practices of the heroes andheroines in Sense and Sensibility. The analysis occurs at a lexical level and this thesis is one that based mainly on qualitative study with quantitative as a supplement. As one of the first comprehensive attempts to apply the framework of CDA to Sense and Sensibility, this study demonstrates its utility as an analytic framework. It argues that women language in Sense and Sensibility also shares some common qualities in comparison with the other researches. In addition, this thesis suggests that CDA has the potential to expose common sense assumptions concerning not only gender but also other aspects of British society in Sense and Sensibility such as discriminationand prejudices based on social status and so on.

Abstract:

Combined with actual situation of Fengxian power Supply Company, the neutral grounding modes of Fengxian 35 kV and 10 kV power grid are studied in the paper. The different frequencies injected method is used to measure the capacitive current of Fengxian 28 substations, and the neutral grounding modes of the 28 substations are determined based on the measured values of capacitive current.

Fractional-order Generalized Principle of Self-Support (FOG PSS) in Control Systems Design

Abstract: This paper reviews research that studies the principle of self-support (PSS) in some control systems and proposes a fractional-order generalized PSS framework for the first time. The existing PSS approach focuses on practical tracking problem of integer-order systems including robotic dynamics, high precision linear motor system, multi-axis high precision positioning system with unmeasurable variables, imprecise sensor information, uncertain parameters and external disturbances. More generally, by formulating the fractional PSS concept as a new generalized framework, we will focus in the possible fields on the fractional-order control problems such as practical tracking, $\lambda$-tracking, etc. of robot systems, multiple mobile agents, discrete dynamical systems, time delay systems and other uncertain nonlinear systems. Finally, the practical tracking of a first-order uncertain model of automobile is considered as a simple example to demonstrate the efficiency of the fractional-order generalized principle of self-support (FOGPSS) control strategy.
High-Input Impedance Voltage-Mode Multifunction Filter with Four Grounded Components and Only Two Plus-Type DDCCs

Abstract: This paper introduces a novel voltage-mode multifunction biquadratic filter with single input and four outputs using two plus-type differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs) and four grounded passive components. The filter can realize inverting highpass, inverting bandpass, noninverting lowpass, and noninverting bandpass filter responses, simultaneously. It still maintains the following advantages: (i) using grounded capacitors attractive for integration and absorbing shunt parasitic capacitance, (ii) using grounded resistors at all terminals of DDCCs suitable for the variations of filter parameters and absorbing series parasitic resistances at all terminals of DDCCs, (iii) high-input impedance good for cascadability, (iv) no need to change the filter topology, (v) no need to component-matching conditions, (vi) low active and passive sensitivity performances, and (vii) simpler configuration due to the use of plus-type DDCCs only. HSPICE and MATLAB simulations results are provided to demonstrate the theoretical analysis. 1. Introduction As a current-mode active device, the differential difference current conveyor (DDCC) has the advantages of both the second-generation current conveyor (CCII) (such as large signal bandwidth, great linearity, wide dynamic range) and the differential difference amplifier (DDA) (such as high-input impedance and arithmetic operation capability) [1]. This element is a versatile building block whose applications exist in the literature [1–7]. Voltage-mode active filters with high-input impedance are of great interest because several cells of this kind can be directly connected for implementing higher-order filters [3–11]. In 2003, Chang and Chen proposed a universal voltage-mode filter with three inputs and a single output [2]. The circuit can realize all five different generic filtering responses but only highpass and bandpass responses have the advantage of high-input impedance. In 2004, Horng et al. proposed a multifunction filter with a single input and three outputs [3]. The circuit can realize highpass, bandpass, and lowpass responses, simultaneously. However, it is based on two minus-type DDCCs. In 2005, Ibrahim et al. proposed two single DDCC biquads with high-input impedance and minimum number of passive elements [4]. The highpass, bandpass, or lowpass filter responses cannot be realized in the same configuration. In 2007, Chiu and Horng proposed a universal voltage-mode filter with three inputs and a single output [5]. The circuit has high-input and low-output impedance advantages but it uses three plus-type
New insight into the role of miRNAs in leukemia

Abstract: Recent studies have shown that microRNAs(miRNAs) play an important role in cell differentiation, growth, and death, including the functional study of miRNAs in tumorigenesis. To date, miRNA expression profiles in many types of cancers have been identified and miRNA expression signatures associated with types and cytogenetics of leukemia have also been reported. Increasing evidence has shown that miRNAs could function as either tumor suppressors or oncogenes in cancers such as leukemia, while other miRNAs might be benefitcial for diagnosis and prognosis, predicted to be newly developed biomarkers. In this review, we summarize the recent progress about miRNAs in leukemia and present a miRNA-mediated network involved in differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis predicted to be the roles of miRNAs in the pathogenesis of leukemia.
台灣原住民族知識組織架構建構方法之探討 A Study on the Method of Constructing Taiwan Aboriginal Knowledge Organization Structure

Abstract: 近年來,原住民族知識組織架構愈來愈受各界的關注與重視,然而由於過去原住民知識大多皆以口傳為主,顯少有文字記載,故原住民族知識組織架構建構之不完整性是可想而知的。 為因應此劃時代之趨勢與需求,本研究旨在提出一套建構「台灣原住民族知識組織架構」之方法與步驟:透過對各種「知識組織系統」類型特色與呈現方式的分析,本研究認為「分類架構」應是目前較適用於呈現原住民族領域知識的知識組織系統;再藉由「領域分析」方法的探討,整合出台灣原住民族領域知識分析之整體流程;並根據現有之原住民族知識組織架構及其建構之相關研究,歸納出建構原住民族知識組織架構時不可忽略的特性。期盼本研究可供原住民族相關單位與學者專家在未來建構時之參考。 In the past several years, the aboriginal knowledge organization structure has received a respectable amount of attention. However, aboriginal knowledge is commonly spread by oral tradition and rarely by the written word. With regards to such practice, the incompleteness of the structure of aboriginal knowledge organization is then quite understandable. The main purpose of this research is to attempt to introduce a series of methods and procedures for the creation of Taiwan’s aboriginal knowledge organization structure in response to the current demands of our society. By analyzing the features and representation of a variety of organization structures, this study reached the conclusion that classification structures are the most suitable knowledge organization system for the representation of aboriginal knowledge. The method of domain analysis was further applied during research to trace the integral process of the analysis of aboriginal knowledge. Key characteristics for the construction of aboriginal knowledge organization structures have also been defined according to existing related studies. It is hoped that this study will be able to serve as reference for the future research of scholars and other aborigine related institutions.

Image Restoration Algorithm Research on Local Motion-blur

Abstract: In this paper, we aim at the restoration of local motion-blur. On the base of construction of basic model of local motion-blur, the formation mechanism of local motion-blur is analyzed, and a new restoration algorithm aimed at local motion-blur in a complex background is proposed. In the algorithm, the problem of restoration of blurred image with complex background is simplified. First, the blurred part is extracted from the complex background, and then it is pasted onto a bottom with monochromatic background. After restoration in the monochromatic background, the restored part is pasted back to the original complex background. All the operations can be completed in spatial domain. Because the restoration of blur image with monochromatic background is easier, so the algorithm proposed in this paper is simple, fast and effectual. It is an effective method of blur image restoration.
