Developing Situations of Tea Plucking Machine  [PDF]

To acquire the developing trend and ways of mechanization of tea plucking, with analyzing the developing backgrounds and situations of tea plucking machine both at home and abroad, this paper obtains the conclusion that there are several countries that have conducted a lot of studies on tea plucking machine, such as Japan, England, France, India, Australia and Argentina. Among others, Japan goes ahead, where lots of researches have been conducted in the highest developing level. The article also analyses the reason why China has a poor mechanization of tea plucking and points out existing problems. Finally, some advices and measures for developing Chinese domestic mechanization of tea plucking are given.

Design and Implementation of Secure Nodes in the Based-Internet-of-Things Intelligent Household  [PDF]

As one of the most important uses of the Internet of things (IOT), the intelligent household is becoming more and more popular. There are many fragile nodes in the intelligent household and they are bound to encounter some potential risks of hostile attacks, such as eavesdropping, denial of service, error instructs, non-authorized access or fabrication and others. This paper presents a method of design and implement of secure nodes for the intelligent household based on the IOT technology, besides giving the hardware model of nodes, the management of key, the access authentication of network, the transmission of encrypted data, and the alarm based on intrusion detection and other security mechanisms. That is, to improve the security of the based-IOT intelligent household from the viewpoint of nodes security. A test platform is built and the results of simulation prove that the proposed method can effectively improve the security of the intelligent household from access safety and transmission security.

A modified semi-supervised color image segmentation method

Abstract: The paper proposed a modified color image segmentation method basing on semi-supervised hidden Markov random fields (HMRF) with constraints. Making use of MeanShift algorithm to get supervision information and, cluster number and initial values for cluster centroids, color images can be segmented effectively with the method in this paper by K-Means algorithm. The experimental results are very encouraging.
Effect of polydispersity on the relative stability of hard-sphere crystals

Abstract: By extending the nonequilibrium potential refinement algorithm and lattice switch method to the semigrand ensemble, the semigrand potentials of the fcc and hcp structures of polydisperse hard-sphere crystals are calculated with the bias sampling scheme. The result shows that the fcc structure is more stable than the hcp structure for polydisperse hard-sphere crystals below the terminal polydispersity.
Solid-solid transition of the size-polydisperse hard-sphere system

Abstract: The solid-solid coexistence of a polydisperse hard sphere system is studied by using the Monte Carlo simulation. The results show that for large enough polydispersity the solid-solid coexistence state is more stable than the single-phase solid. The two coexisting solids have different composition distributions but the same crystal structure. Moreover, there is evidence that the solid-solid transition terminates in a critical point as in the case of the fluid-fluid transition.

Abstract: A new Monte Carlo approach is proposed to investigate the fluid-solid phase transition of the polydisperse system. By using the extended ensemble, a reversible path was constructed to link the monodisperse and corresponding polydisperse system. Once the fluid-solid coexistence point of the monodisperse system is known, the fluid-solid coexistence point of the polydisperse system can be obtained from the simulation. The validity of the method is checked by the simulation of the fluid-solid phase transition of a size-polydisperse hard sphere colloid. The results are in agreement with the previous studies.
Revisit of interfacial free energy of the hard sphere system near hard wall

Abstract: We propose a simple Monte Carlo method to calculate the interfacial free energy between the substrate and the material. Using this method we investigate the interfacial free energys of the hard sphere fluid and solid phases near a smooth hard wall. According to the obtained interfacial free energys of the coexisting fluid and solid phases and the Young equation we are able to determine the contact angle with high accuracy, cos$\theta$ = 1:010(31), which indicates that a smooth hard wall can be wetted completely by the hard sphere crystal at the interface between the wall and the hard sphere fluid.
Elasticity of a polydisperse hard-sphere crystal

Abstract: A general Monte Carlo simulation method of calculating the elastic constants of polydisperse hard-sphere colloidal crystal was developed. The elastic constants of a size polydisperse hard sphere fcc crystal is calculated. The pressure and three elastic constants(C11, C12 and C44) increase significantly with the polydispersity. It was also found from extrapolation that there is a mechanical terminal polydispersity above which a fcc crystal will be mechanically unstable.

Abstract: As is known, the Blaschke tensor $A$ (a symmetric covariant $2$-tensor) is one of the fundamental M\"obius invariants in the M\"obius differential geometry of submanifolds in the unit sphere $\mathbb S^n$, and the eigenvalues of $A$ are referred to as the Blaschke eigenvalues. In this paper, we continue our job for the study on the submanifolds in $\bbs^n$ with parallel Blaschke tensors which we simply call {\em Blaschke parallel submanifolds} to find more examples and seek a complete classification finally. The main theorem of this paper is the classification of Blaschke parallel submanifolds in $\mathbb S^n$ with exactly three distinct Blaschke eigenvalues. Before proving this classification we define, as usual, a new class of examples.
