A closed formula for the asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel

Abstract: We prove a graph theoretic closed formula for coefficients in the Tian-Yau-Zelditch asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel. The formula is expressed in terms of the characteristic polynomial of the directed graphs representing Weyl invariants. The proof relies on a combinatorial interpretation of a recursive formula due to M. Englis and A. Loi.
An explicit formula for the Berezin star product

Abstract: We prove an explicit formula of the Berezin star product on Kaehler manifolds. The formula is expressed as a summation over certain strongly connected digraphs. The proof relies on a combinatorial interpretation of Englis' work on the asymptotic expansion of the Laplace integral.
Weyl invariant polynomial and deformation quantization on Kahler manifolds

Abstract: Given a polynomial P of partial derivatives of the Kahler metric, expressed as a linear combination of directed multigraphs, we prove a simple criterion in terms of the coefficients for $P$ to be an invariant polynomial, i.e. invariant under the transformation of coordinates. As applications, we prove an explicit composition formula for covariant differential operators under a canonical basis, also known as invariant differential operators in the case of bounded symmetric domains. We also prove a general explicit formula of star products on Kahler manifolds.
On a formula of Gammelgaard for Berezin-Toeplitz quantization

Abstract: We give a proof of a slightly refined version of Gammelgaard's graph theoretic formula for Berezin-Toeplitz quantization on (pseudo-)Kaehler manifolds. Our proof has the merit of giving an alternative approach to Karabegov-Schlichenmaier's identification theorem. We also identify the dual Karabegov-Bordemann-Waldmann star product.

Abstract:

Traditional grid computing focuses on the movement of data to compute resources and the management of large scale simulations. Data grid computing focuses on moving the operations to the storage location and on operations on data collections. We present three types of data grid operations that facilitate data driven research: the manipulation of time series data, the reproducible execution of workflows, and the mapping of data access to software-defined networks. These data grid operations have been implemented as operations on collections within the NSF DataNet Federation Consortium project. The operations can be applied at the remote resource where data are stored, improving the ability of researchers to interact with large collections.

Outcome Measures of Chinese Herbal Medicine for Coronary Heart Disease: An Overview of Systematic Reviews

Abstract: Objective. The aim of this overview was to summarize the outcome measures of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) as the treatment of coronary heart disease (CHD) based on available systematic reviews (SRs), so as to display the current situation and evaluate the potential benefits and advantages of CHM on CHD. Methods. An extensive search included the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, MEDLINE, and 4 databases in Chinese. SRs of CHM for CHD were included. Besides evaluating and summarizing the outcome measures, we also estimated the quality of the included reviews by PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses). Data were extracted according to predefined inclusion criteria by two independent reviewers. Results. 46 articles were included. 20 kinds of CHM were reviewed. 7 SRs were concerned with myocardial infarction (MI), 38 SRs were related to angina pectoris. 11 SRs had primary endpoints, while others focused on secondary endpoints to evaluate CHM for CHD such as angina pectoris and electrocardiogram (ECG). One SR reported more adverse effects of CHM for CHD and of the SRs analyzed quality of life. Many CHM appeared to have significant effect on improving symptoms, ECG, biomarkers and so on. However, most SRs failed to make a definite conclusion for the effectiveness of CHM in CHD patients due specifically to the poor evidence. And according to PRISMA we found most of the trials in the SRs were of low quality. Conclusion. Primary endpoints were not used widely. The benefits of CHM for CHD need to be confirmed in the future with RCTs of more persuasive primary endpoints and high-quality SRs.
BEHAVIOUR OF INITIATION AND GROWTH OF SHORT FATIGUE CRACKS

Abstract: Rotary bending fatigue tests were carried out using smooth specimens of a medium-carbon steel with two different grain sizes.The process of early crack development was observed by the replica method,and the effects of grain size and microstructure on short crack development were studied.It was shown that the initiation process of fatigue cracks is that the damaged region is intensified gradually,and the growth of short cracks relates to the coalescence of cracks.The grain size and microstructure have a great influence upon the initiation and growth of short cracks.A reasonable definition was given in relation to short fatigue crack initiation and propagation.
Chinese Listed Companies Preference to Equity Fund: Non-Systematic Factors

Abstract: This article concentrates on the listed companies’ financing activities in China, analyses the reasons that why the listed companies prefer to equity fund from the aspect of non-systematic factors by using western financing theories, such as financing cost, types and qualities of the enterprises’ assets, profitability, industry factors, shareholding structure factors, level of financial management and society culture, and concludes that the preference to equity fund is a reasonable choice to the listed companies according to Chinese financing environment. At last, there are some concise suggestions be given to rectify the companies’ preference to equity fund.
Finite Horizon Adaptive Optimal Distributed Power Allocation for Enhanced Cognitive Radio Network in the Presence of Channel Uncertainties

Abstract: In this paper, novel enhanced Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) is considered by using power controlwhere secondary users (SUs) are allowed to use wireless resources of the primary users (PUs) when PUsare deactivated, but also allow SUs to coexist with PUs while PUs are activated by managinginterference caused from SUs to PUs. Therefore, a novel finite horizon adaptive optimal distributedpower allocation (FH-AODPA) scheme is proposed by incorporating the effect of channel uncertaintiesfor enhanced CRN in the presence of wireless channel uncertainties under two cases. In Case 1,proposed scheme can force the Signal-to-interference (SIR)of the SUs to converge to a higher targetvalue for increasing network throughput when PU’s are not communicating within finite horizon. OncePUs are activated as in the Case 2, proposed scheme cannot only force the SIR’s of PUs to converge to ahigher target SIR, but also force the SIR’s of SUs to converge to a lower value for regulating theirinterference to Pus during finite time period. In order to mitigate the attenuation of SIR’s due to channeluncertainties the proposed novel FH-AODPA allows the SIR’s of both PUs’ and SUs’ to converge to adesired target SIR while minimizing the energy consumption within finite horizon. Simulation resultsillustrate that this novel FH-AODPA scheme can converge much faster and cost less energy than othersby adapting to the channel variations optimally.
