IS-LM Paradigm in Macroeconomics: A Survey and Evaluation  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper analyzes many serious defects existing in traditional aggregate demand/aggregate supply paradigm based on IS-LM model. Those defects cause the situation that IS-LM model declines gradually, but it is still not dead, and continuously revives through modification. This paper distinguishes from rounds of modification on traditional aggregate demand/aggregate supply paradigm. The first round of modification was just introducing the dynamic ad hoc IS-LM model of rational expectation which started from the end of 1970s and the beginning of 1980s. Because the micro-foundation problems are not solved and the rational expectation carries out extreme judgment on monetary neutrality and ineffectiveness of macroeconomic policy, the first modification fails to realize big success. The second round of modification is just happening; through introducing rational expectation and New Phillips Curve (NPC), the powerful improvement has been made in micro-foundation, dynamic form, and monetary policy rules, and the model is called IS-LM/ MP-NPC model. This paper also points out some limitations which are not solved in the second modification.

Abstract: The Ramsey number is a foundational result in combinatorics. This article will introduce Ramsey number with the method of graph theory, and the Ramsey pricing theory is applied to the sales price and study of cross subsidy. Based on the status of our sales price and cross subsidy, Ramsey pricing methods theoretically guide adjustment thoughts of sales price and solve the practical problems in our life.
Embedding and Extracting Digital Watermark Based on DCT Algorithm  [PDF]

Abstract: The principle of digital watermark is the method of adding digital watermark in the frequency domain. The digital watermark hides the watermark in digital media, such as image, voice, video, etc., so as to realize the functions of copyright protection, and identity recognition. DCT for Discrete Cosine Transform is used to transform the image pixel value and the frequency domain coefficient matrix to realize the embedding and extracting of the blind watermark in the paper. After success, the image is attacked by white noise and Gaussian low-pass filtering. The result shows that the watermark signal embedded based on the DCT algorithm is relatively robust, and can effectively resist some attack methods that use signal distortion to destroy the watermark, and has good robustness and imperceptibility.

Abstract: It’s a very popular issue regarding the minimum cost spanning tree which is of great practical and economical significance to solve it in a concise and accelerated way. In this paper, the basic ideas of Kruskal algorithm were discussed and then presented a new improved algorithm—two branch Kruskal algorithm, which is improved to choose a middle value. Finally, because the time complexity is reduced, and the process is more convenient, it is concluded that the improved Kruskal algorithm is more effective in most cases compared with the Kruskal algorithm.

Abstract: A kind of heap sorting method based on array sorting was proposed. Some advantages and disadvantages of it were discussed. It was compared with the traditional method of direct application. In the method, the ordered keywords in the array are put into the heap one by one after building an empty heap. This method needs relatively less space and is fit for ordered sequence.

Abstract: With the development of the economy and the surge in car ownership, the sale of used cars has been welcomed by more and more people, and the information of the vehicle condition is the focus information of them. The frame number is a unique number used in the vehicle, and by identifying it can quickly find out the vehicle models and manufacturers. The traditional character recognition method has the problem of complex feature extraction, and the convolutional neural network has unique advantages in processing two-dimensional images. This paper analyzed the key techniques of convolutional neural networks compared with traditional neural networks, and proposed improved methods for key technologies, thus increasing the recognition of characters and applying them to the recognition of frame number characters.

Abstract: For the development of distributed power supply active distribution network system, the instability of the power supply side causes the system frequency to be disturbed, and harmonics, voltage fluctuations, or ferromagnetic saturation causes resonance and other series of power quality problems; what resulting in the over-voltage and over-current can easily damage components and threaten the system's safe and stable operation. In order to solve these problems, this paper compares some harmonic detection and filtering methods, devices and methods for suppressing resonance in recent years, and combines the principle of resonance to design a nonlinear inductive circuit that can suppress resonant overcurrent according to the characteristics of nonlinear inductors. Compared with the Resistance (R) series Induct Capacitance (LC) parallel circuit composed of common inductors, the circuit described in this paper is not affected by overcurrent, and the influence of overvoltage is relatively greatly reduced. The simulate-on proves that this circuit suppresses the effects of resonant overvoltage and overcurrent.
Monthly Electricity Consumption Forecast Based on Multi-Target Regression  [PDF]

Abstract: Urban grid power forecasting is one of the important tasks of power system operators, which helps to analyze the development trend of the city. As the demand for electricity in various industries is affected by many factors, the data of relevant influencing factors are scarce, resulting in great deviations in the accuracy of prediction results. In order to improve the prediction results, this paper proposes a model based on Multi-Target Tree Regression to predict the monthly electricity consumption of different industrial structures. Due to few data characteristics of actual electricity consumption in Shanghai from 2013 to the first half of 2017. Thus, we collect data on GDP growth, weather conditions, and tourism season distribution in various industries in Shanghai, model and train the electricity consumption data of different industries in different months. The multi-target tree regression model was tested with actual values to verify the reliability of the model and predict the monthly electricity consumption of each industry in the second half of 2017. The experimental results show that the model can accurately predict the monthly electricity consumption of various industries.

Abstract: Blind forensics of JPEG image tampering as a kind of digital image blind forensics technology is gradually becoming a new research hotspot in the field of image security. Firstly, the main achievements of domestic and foreign scholars in the blind forensic technology of JPEG image tampering were briefly described. Then, according to the different methods of tampering and detection, the current detection was divided into two types: double JPEG compression detection and block effect inconsistency detection. This paper summarized the existing methods of JPEG image blind forensics detection, and analyzed the two methods. Finally, the existing problems and future research trends were analyzed and prospected to provide further theoretical support for the research of JPEG image blind forensics technology.
