PLOS ONE , 2014, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0097647
Abstract: Background Plasma kisspeptin levels dramatically increased during the first trimester of human pregnancy, which is similar to pregnancy specific glycoprotein-human chorionic gonadotropin. However, its particular role in the implantation and decidualization has not been fully unraveled. Here, the study was conducted to investigate the expression and function of kisspeptin in mouse uterus during early pregnancy and decidualization. Methodology/Principal Findings Quantitative PCR results demonstrated that Kiss1 and GPR54 mRNA levels showed dynamic increase in the mouse uterus during early pregnancy and artificially induced decidualization in vivo. KISS-1 and GPR54 proteins were spatiotemporally expressed in decidualizing stromal cells in intact pregnant females, as well as in pseudopregnant mice undergoing artificially induced decidualization. In the ovariectomized mouse uterus, the expression of Kiss1 mRNA was upregulated after progesterone or/and estradiol treatment. Moreover, in a stromal cell culture model, the expression of Kiss1 and GPR54 mRNA gradually rise with the progression of stromal cell decidualization, whereas the attenuated expression of Kiss1 using small interfering RNA approaches significantly blocked the progression of stromal cell decidualization. Conclusion our results demonstrated that Kiss1/GPR54 system was involved in promoting uterine decidualization during early pregnancy in mice.

Modern Economy (ME) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/me.2016.75058
Abstract: This paper takes China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CPIC”) as an example. According to the three turning points, from its going public at 2007 to its strategic change at 2010 and to the last whole audit organizational structure, this paper is detailed to introduce the development and adjustment of CPIC’s internal audit organizational structure (hereinafter referred to as IAOS) as the change of corporate strategy. Moreover, it examines the advantages and disadvantages of present internal audit organizational structure both from governance layer and management layer. Cross-Cultural Communication , 2012, DOI: 10.3968/j.ccc.1923670020120806.1136
Abstract: There have always been controversies upon negotiable instrument counterplea and negotiable instrument counterplea right among Chinese negotiable instruments law scholars. If legal scholars cannot clearly understand the contents of negotiable instrument counterplea and negotiable instrument counterplea right, there will be chaos in the whole negotiable instrument counterplea theory which goes against the protection of negotiable instrument obligors’ benefit and the balance of negotiable instrument right system. This paper tries to accurately define negotiable instrument counterplea and negotiable instrument counterplea right by detailed analysis so as to contribute to Chinese negotiable instrument theory research. Key words: Negotiable instrument counterplea; Negotiable instrument counterplea right; Defense cut off

Cross-Cultural Communication , 2012, DOI: 10.3968/j.ccc.1923670020120802.2800
Abstract: Through several decades of legal construction, the legal environment has been greatly improved in recent years. The lack of regulations and systems is not the major cause for business frictions. The major problem for corporate governance at the present stage has become the business frictions caused by differences in cultural values. The article mainly analyzed the cultural features of Chinese corporate governance. When we learn from the western corporate legal systems, we must integrate them with the social, economic and cultural reality in China, try to provide a healthy and harmony environment for business operations, avoid frictions in corporate governance caused by cultural frictions and actively promote localization in order to find out the best practice for corporate cultural governance. Transverse Isotropism of Cancellous Bone as a Two-phase Porous Structure
Haibin CHEN
TELKOMNIKA : Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering , 2012, DOI: 10.11591/telkomnika.v10i5.1282
Abstract: Since the cancellous bone displays a fluid-solid coupled porous structure, its solid matrix exhibits excellent osteogenic property and has been extensively used as the scaffold material of tissue-engineering bone. It is the aim of the present paper to examine the transversely isotropic behavior of cancellous bone. Correspondingly, a two-dimension image analysis method was developed to determine the distribution characteristics of cancellous bone porosity. The fresh behind-leg tibia of three swine were dissected to develop a total of 36 HE staining specimens of cancellous bone, which were subjected to different anatomical locations along the axial or lateral direction. All cancellous bone specimens or cut-sections were examined microscopically and processed quantitatively. The main results and conclusions are as follows: (a) The cancellous bone porosity is gradually decreased along the axial direction of tibia and approaching to the cortical bone, but almost constant along the lateral direction of tibia. Correspondingly, cancellous bone can be modeled as a transversely isotropic, liquid saturated porous solid.(b) The two-dimensional image analysis method is able to be used to relatively accurately determine the distribution characteristics of the cancellous bone porosity from different directions if the number of cancellous bone cut-sections is sufficient.
C-PASS-PC: A Cloud-driven Prototype of Multi-Center Proactive Surveillance System for Prostate Cancer

International Journal of Computer Science & Information Technology , 2012,
Abstract: Currently there are many clinical trials using paper case report forms as the primary data collection tool.Cloud Computing platforms provide big potential for increasing efficiency through a web-based datacollection interface, especially for large-scale multi-center trials. Traditionally, clinical and biologicaldata for multi-center trials are stored in one dedicated, centralized database system running at a datacoordinating center (DCC). This paper presents C-PASS-PC, a cloud-driven prototype of multi-centerproactive surveillance system for prostate cancer. The prototype is developed in PHP, JQuery and CSSwith an Oracle backend in a local Web server and database server and deployed on Google App Engine(GAE) and Google Cloud SQL-MySQL. The deploying process is fast and easy to follow. The C-PASS-PCprototype can be accessed through an SSL-enabledweb browser. Our approach proves the concept thatcloud computing platforms such as GAE is a suitable and flexible solution in the near future for multicenter clinical trials.
