Blume-Emery-Griffiths dynamics in social networks

Abstract: We introduce the Blume-Emery-Griffiths (BEG) model in a social networks to describe the three-state dynamics of opinion formation. It shows that the probability distribution function of the time series of opinion is a Gaussian-like distribution. We also study the response of BEG model to the external periodic perturbation. One can observe that both the interior thermo-noise and the external field result in phase transition, which is a split phenomena of the opinion distributions. It is opposite between the effect acted on the opinion systems of the amplitude of the external field and of the thermo-noise.

Abstract: 利用挤压铸造法制备了炭短纤维(Cf)和Al2O3f短纤维增强以及混杂增强ZL109复合材料,研究了切削加工Al2O3f Cf/ZL109混杂复合材料过程中,Cf短纤维和Al2O3f短纤维含量以及切削速度对刀具磨损性能的影响.结果表明,刀具后刀面的磨损量随着纤维含量的增加而增加,Al2O3f短纤维对刀具磨损性能的影响程度大于Cf短纤维;2种短纤维混杂增强较单一Cf或Al2O3f增强时刀具后刀面的磨损将进一步加剧,但2种纤维对刀具磨损的交互作用并不显著;随着切削速度的增加,刀具后刀面的磨损量明显增大.高硬度PCD刀具和CBN刀具适用于加工Al2O3f Cf/ZL109混杂复合材料.

Abstract: 摘要 目的:研究位点保存术对正畸拔牙间隙关闭过程中出现牙龈折痕的影响,以评价该技术在临床应用的可行性。方法:选择对称性拔除双侧第一前磨牙的正畸病例3例,6对牙齿,采用自身左右对照。随机选取一侧进行位点保存,另一侧拔牙后进行常规处理,作为对照,术后6周开始正畸治疗。选用牙周探针进行测量,对比两组牙龈折痕的发生情况。结果:对照组上颌1例患者,下颌所有患者中均出现牙龈折痕,实验组观察到牙龈折痕的出现。结论:位点保存术能够对抗拔牙窝的萎缩,有效的预防牙龈折痕的发生

Abstract: Al 2O 3f C f/ZL109 short fibers reinforced hybrid metal matrix composites were fabricated by squeeze casting.The effect of fiber-orientation on the dry sliding friction and wear properties of the hybrid composites at a load of 196 N and sliding velocity of 0.837 m/s was investigated on a MM-200 test rig by using statistical research method.The results show that the wear rate and coefficient of friction of the hybrid composites with both parallel-and normal-oriented fibers have normal distribution of probability density.The normal distribution functions of the wear rates are of identical variance,but the hybrid composites with parallel-oriented fibers has greater average wear rate.The normal distribution functions of coefficient of friction are also of identical variance,but the hybrid composites with parallel-oriented fibers has smaller average value.Fiber normal-orientation is benificial to improving the wear-resistance of the composites but leads to greater coefficient of friction.This is because more and larger microcracks are prone to generate and propagate on the worn surface of the hybrid composite with parallel-oriented fibers, while more carbon fibers are liable to be smashed into fine particles and contribute to reduce friction in this case.The hybrid composites with either parallel-or normal-oriented fibers are both characterized by ploughing in sliding against steel.The key to the influence of fiber-orientation on the friction and wear properties of the composites lies in that whether the fiber can effectively prevent the generation and propagation of microcracks and the peeling rate of the reinforcement from the matrix.

Abstract: 摘要 目的: 探讨正畸拔牙矫治病例出现牙龈折痕原因,为临床预防牙龈折痕的发生提供依据。方法: 在拔除前磨牙进行固定矫治的错牙合畸形患者中,筛查出发生的牙龈折痕病例87例,选择其中一侧出现牙龈折痕,另一侧未出现的病例65例,将出现牙龈折痕的一侧作为实验侧,未出现牙龈折痕的一侧作为对照侧,通过CBCT测量分析,比较两侧牙槽骨宽度、高度及骨密度的变化与出现牙龈折痕的相关性。结果: 牙龈折痕多发生在下颌,牙周探针牙龈折痕深度下颌均大于上颌。牙龈折痕侧牙槽骨宽度减小、高度降低以及密度减小均明显大于对照组,两组数据统计结果有显著性差(P<0.05)。结论: 正畸拔牙矫治病例中牙龈折痕的出现与牙槽骨宽度、高度及骨密度的变化具有相关性,拔牙间隙关闭过程中牙槽骨吸收,对软组织支持的丧失,可能是出现牙龈折痕的解剖学因素

Abstract: Using a macroscopic analysis, we show that time-dependent noncollinear spin transport possesses a wavelike character. This leads to modifications of pure spin-diffusion dynamics and allows one to extract a finite spin-signal propagation velocity. We numerically study the dynamics of a pure spin current pumped into a nonmagnetic layer for precession frequencies ranging from GHz to THz.

Abstract: This paper analyzes theoretically the signal propagation in spin transport by modulating the current passing through magnetic multilayers. Using a macroscopic description of spin transport based on the dynamical Boltzmann equation, we show that time-dependent spin transport possesses a wave-like character that leads to modifications of pure spin-diffusion dynamics. In particular, the wave-like characteristics allow one to extract a finite spin signal-propagation velocity.
Wave-diffusion theory of spin transport in metals after ultrashort-pulse excitation

Abstract: Spin and charge-current dynamics after ultrafast spin-polarized excitation in a normal metal are studied theoretically using a wave-diffusion theory. It is shown analytically how this macroscopic approach correctly describes the ballistic and diffusive properties of spin and charge transport, but also applies to the intermediate regime between these two limits. Using the wave-diffusion equations we numerically analyze spin and charge dynamics after ultrafast excitation of spin polarized carriers in thin gold films. Assuming slightly spin-dependent momentum relaxation times, we find that a unified treatment of diffusive and ballistic transport yields robust signatures in the spin and charge dynamics, which are in qualitative agreement with recent experimental results [Phys. Rev. Lett 107, 076601 (2011)]. The influence of boundary effects on the temporal signatures of spin transport is also studied.
