Guoping Yang, Jian Fang
Modern Mechanical Engineering (MME) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/mme.2012.24018

In order to improve the impact performance, the structure of hydraulic hammer should be optimized. In this paper, the ranges of eight vital structure parameters of piston and reversing valve system of hydraulic hammer were selected firstly; and then found the best value of different parameters under experiments with the method of computer optimization and the parametric analysis method provided by ADAMS software. These methods worked and the best design values of parameters of hydraulic hammer were obtained. At last, the optimal impact energy of virtual prototype of hydraulic breaking hammer was calculated and compared with the original impact performance. The results reveal that impact performance of hydraulic hammer has been improved significantly.

World Journal of Mechanics (WJM) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/wjm.2012.26035
Abstract: The structure and operational principle on a new type reversing valve of hydraulic breaker are introduced. The nonlinear mathematic model and simulation model of the new type reversing valve are built. The dynamic simulation research of the new type reversing valve is conducted. The effects of the system parameters on the working performance are researched systematically and deeply. The regular understanding on the motion of the reversing valve is obtained, which provides theoretical basis for the innovation and manufacturing of a new generation of hydraulic breaker reversing valve.

Online Face Recognition Algorithm via Nonnegative Matrix Factorization
Hongli Yang,Guoping He
Information Technology Journal , 2010,
Abstract: In this study, a novel algorithm is presented for dealing with the online data based on nonnegative matrix factorization model. Nonnegative Matrix Factorization (NMF) is a promising approach for face recognition in that it is capable of extracting the local features by factorizing the nonnegative matrix into two nonnegative matrices. However, there are two major weaknesses in almost all the existing NMF based methods. The first shortcoming is that the computational cost is high for large matrix factorization, it also needs more memory to save the huge data. The other is that it must conduct repetitive learning when the data samples are updated. To overcome these two limitations, a novel Online Nonnegative Matrix Factorization (ONMF) algorithm for online face recognition is presented in this study. The ONMF algorithm can not only deal with the incremental nonnegative matrix factorization, but also can deal with the decremental nonnegative matrix factorization which has never been considered in other study. Two face databases, namely ORL and FERET face database, are selected for evaluation. Compared with the conventional standard NMF, the method in this study gives the better performance both in computational costs and other aspects.
Modeling and Simulation of Hydraulic Hammer for Sleeve Valve  [PDF]

Engineering (ENG) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/eng.2016.89059
Abstract: Hydraulic hammer is commonly used hydraulic equipment in engineering work. The characteristics, high acceleration, high frequency and inertial working pressure, make it greatly different from the working conditions of conventional hydraulic equipment, while hydraulic hammer for sleeve type is also not the same as other hydraulic hammers in structure, efficiency and working performance. Based on the principle of hydraulic hammer for sleeve type, the mathematical model of hydraulic hammer for sleeve type was set with various conditions in the reciprocating movement of piston. In addition, more detailed sketch model can be easily built with the mathematical model in multi-domain system analysis software, AMESim. The simulation system of breaker built based on the principle of power bond graph structures in AMESim system is considered comprehensively to achieve its functions and characteristics, which can quickly realize the calculation of main simulation parameters for impactor. The calculated parameters can be proved to be biased with the test prototype. So these parameters must be optimized by Design Exploration to find the appropriate parameters.

Open Access Library Journal (OALib Journal) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/oalib.1104495
It’s very useful to put the virtual prototype technology into hydraulic ripper, just for improving the product research and development efforts. A certain type of hydraulic ripper was simulated and calculated using CATIA and ADAMS software, the simulation system is set up, and the relevant parameters of hydraulic ripper are gotten; on this basis, a prototype model is compared with the reality. At the same time, a comparative analysis of simulation results and real results under certain conditions is used to verify the rationality of the prototype model, and the reference value of its products must build a good development platform for hydraulic ripper.
Finite Element Analysis of High Frequency Breaker Vibrator  [PDF]
Xiaofan Hou, Guoping Yang
Open Access Library Journal (OALib Journal) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/oalib.1104485
High-frequency breaker vibrator mainly includes three major components of the structure: the vibration box, knife row and bucket teeth. Due to the periodic impact load of the high-frequency breaker, there is a risk of failure if the structure of the exciter is not designed properly, which will seriously affect the working efficiency and service life of the breaker. The static characteristic of the exciter is an important part of evaluating the overall performance of the breaker. It is necessary to do the statics analysis of the exciter to study the stress distribution and the strain state of the breaker. Based on the above reasons, the stress analysis and strain analysis of the finite element modeling of the exciter structure are carried out in this paper. The simplification and constraint handling of the model are discussed.
Simulation Analysis of DC-DC Circuit Based on Simulink in Intelligent Vehicle Terminal  [PDF]

Open Access Library Journal (OALib Journal) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/oalib.1104682
With the popularization of intelligent transportation systems, intelligent vehicle terminal has emerged. As the most important part of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), the smart vehicle-mounted terminal integrates technologies such as the Internet of Things, satellite navigation technology, and even artificial intelligence, and is now widely used in various modes of transportation. The output voltage of automotive vehicle power supplies is generally 12 V, 24 V, 36 V, while the operating voltage of embedded chips inside vehicle-mounted terminals such as automobiles or buses generally needs to be depressurized before they can work normally. Therefore, this paper will analyze four basic DC chopper circuits, analyze its working principle, and build a DC-DC circuit model according to Matlab/Simulink software and finally analyze the waveform of the simulation output.

Engineering (ENG) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/eng.2015.78046
Abstract: In order to improve the impactor performance, the dynamic performance of gas-liquid united hydraulic hammer should be optimized. Based on the analysis of the operating principle for the hydraulic impactor, one simulation model of gas-liquid united hydraulic impactor was built with AMESim software. By setting different simulation parameters, curves of displacement, velocity, acceleration and cavity pressure were obtained under different working conditions. The key component can be obtained by the analysis of activity index. The whole simulation results provide a reliable basis for component selection and parameter optimization of hydraulic impactor.
