Proceso de aceptación de la minusvalía: El discurso de personas con cojera

Abstract: in numerous contexts and cultures, persons with a physical deficiency such as a limp, have been perceived with negative characteristic morally and socially. we question ourselves how they influence the personal process of acceptance of the hdicap, these social representations, in which we are deeply involved, as the social beings that we are. for this we carry out a qualitative investigation, utilizing the method of analysis of the speech of the people whit a limp carried ont in interviews halfguieds with then. we find that the process of acceptance of the handicap is a "rite of passage" just as was defined by van gennep.

Abstract: nursing works with healthy and sick persons, for it to know nurse must be also one to know brings over of the human beings, which implies an anthropologic dimension in knowing this one. in the present article it is studied, by means of qualitative methodology, how it influences the physical deficiency (limp) in the construction of the identity. the interviewed persons have elaborated his identity from the will power and with the strategies of overcoming that has helped to increase his autoesteem and to be valued to yes same opposite to the handicapped persons image by the one that they are represented by the society.

Abstract: the body is not only anatomy or biology, is symbolic expression. the body, historically, has been used by the human beings as the most nearby instrument to symbolize. traditionally the person with limp has been stigmatized. at present the corporal perfection is chased and rewarded socially. the gymnasiums, the diets, the cosmetic surgery, the cosmetics move millions. by all it we questioned how the persons perceive their body with lamp. a qualitative investigation was done, using as method of work the analysis of the speech of the realized interviews. we think that they have experienced in yes same a process that began with the conformity of your body, conflict with your proper body and the admission of your corporal image, which have passed from the infancy, it spends for the adolescence and ends in a personal maturity, where they are perceived to yes same as the whole constructed complex that includes the body, the physical deficiency, the valuation of yes same, the will power, the way to be.

Abstract: the feminization of the migratory flows is a fact in our country. the major percentage of women come from countries of latin america and the work door of entry is in the habit of being the housekeeping. the women of study have a long stay as emigrants and are near his sixty years of life. for it and as the realized works they have pains in the body and sometimes feeling frustration. this one was the idea of item. the aim was to know his self-esteem of health. after the work realized with qualitative methodology and technology of discussion in group, one thought that often these women are carrying of it resilient. that allows them to superimpose and to grow bolder before the adverse situations derived from the emigration.

Abstract: in these moments, in our society, the fashion for the "elegant woman" there imposes a model of totally harmful footwear for the health of the feet, therefore for the health of the women. the deformities, injuries and pain in the feet of the women are increasing as a result of it. we question why of this one fashion, being conscious that the dictations of the fashion never take are produced in the emptiness, out of a social context and they are never neutral. a qualitative analysis is realized using the theory of glaser and strauss and the perspective of genre to analyse the information gathered by means of the observation trying to discover that meant there hides the model of "elegant woman" that they present theirs the mass media. we verify that after the ideology of the feminine elegance there hides itself a pragmatic reality that looks for the return of the woman to a biological inferiority.

Abstract: En estos momentos, en nuestra sociedad, la moda para la "mujer elegante" impone un modelo de calzado totalmente da ino para la salud de sus pies, por tanto para la salud de las mujeres. Las deformidades, lesiones y dolor en los pies de las mujeres están aumentando a consecuencia de ello. Nos cuestionamos el por qué de ésta moda, siendo conscientes de que los dictados de la moda nunca se producen en el vacío, fuera de un contexto social y nunca son neutros. Se realiza un estudio cualitativo utilizando la teoría fundamentada de Glaser y Strauss y la perspectiva de género para analizar los datos recogidos mediante la observación, tratando de descubrir qué significados esconde el modelo de "mujer elegante" que nos presentan los medios de comunicación. Descubrimos que tras la ideología de la elegancia femenina se oculta una realidad pragmática que busca el regreso de las mujeres a una inferioridad biológica. Abstract: El cuerpo no es sólo anatomía o biología, es expresión simbólica. El cuerpo, históricamente, ha sido utilizado por los humanos como el instrumento más cercano para simbolizar. Tradicionalmente la cojera ha estado estigmatizada. En la actualidad, la perfección corporal es perseguida y gratificada socialmente. Los gimnasios, las dietas, la cirugía estética, los cosméticos, mueven millones. Por todo ello nos cuestionamos cómo perciben su cuerpo las personas con cojera. Se hizo una investigación cualitativa, utilizando como método de trabajo el análisis del discurso de las entrevistas realizadas. Encontramos que han experimentado en sí mismas un proceso que se inició con la conformidad de su cuerpo, conflicto con su propio cuerpo y la admisión de su imagen corporal, que transcurre desde la infancia, pasa por la adolescencia y termina en una madurez personal, donde se perciben a sí mismos como todo un complejo construido que incluye el cuerpo, la deficiencia física, la valoración de sí mismo, la fuerza de voluntad, la manera de ser. Abstract: En numerosos contextos y culturas, a las personas con una deficiencia física como la cojera, muchas veces, se les ha percibido con características morales y sociales negativas. Nos cuestionamos cómo influye en el proceso de aceptación personal de la minusvalía estas representaciones sociales en las que estamos inmersos, como seres sociales que somos. Para ello se hizo una investigación cualitativa, utilizando como método de trabajo el análisis del discurso de las entrevistas semidirigidas realizadas a personas con cojera. Encontramos que el proceso de aceptación de la minusvalía es un "rito de paso" tal y como fue definido por Van Gennep.
