Abstract:

近年来许多研究指出,人类长期使用的药物如抗生素或止痛剂等医疗药品,无法经由污水处理厂而完全分解消失,当这些药物进入环境中时将可能具有生物毒性,并对生态环境系统造成冲击。为了解人类常用止痛剂(ibuprofen, IBU)及乙酰胺酚(acetaminophen, ACE)残留于水体后对水生生物可能的影响。本研究应用多齿新米虾(Neocaridina denticulate,后简称米虾)进行0.115 mg/LIBUACE不同浓度的曝露。并于曝露后147天,并测定米虾体内解毒酵素的活性(monooxygenase, Mon)glutathione-S-transferase, GST)与肝胰脏受损指标(glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, GOT)(glutamic pyruvic transaminase, GPT)。试验结果显示,米虾曝露IBUACE147天,各处理组间Mon

Abstract: Background: Herbicides are highly toxic for both human and animal health. The increased application of herbicides in agriculture during the last decades has resulted in the contamination of both soil and water. Also do heavy metals, which represent one of the most important group of pollutants produced as a result of many industrial activities which can find their way easily to the normal aquatic environments, disturbing and damaging the existing organisms. Material and Methods: Fishes of the species Tilapia zillii were exposed to sublethal concentration of herbicide Gallant (haloxyfop-ethopxy ethanol ester) (3 mg/L), mercury as mercuric chloride (6 mg/L) and a combined dose of herbicide (1.5 mg/L) and mercury (3 mg/L) for 96 hrs., in aquaria under controlled laboratory conditions. A comparative physiological study was carried out to test the toxicological effects of these pollutants on glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT), glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) activities & hepatosomatic index of liver. Abstract: El aumento prolongado de la transaminasa glutámico-pirúvica, sin causa demostrada de afectación hepática, o la elevación de los niveles de la creatina-cinasa en ni os con pocos síntomas de trastorno neuromuscular o sin ellos, es motivo poco frecuente de consulta en neuropediatría. Se presenta un resumen de lo reportado al respecto en la literatura médica, y se incluyen comentarios al respecto y la propuesta de un algoritmo para el diagnóstico. HBV共感染对不同类型肝包虫患者肝脏功能的影响

Abstract: 摘要:目的 分析乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)共感染对不同类型肝包虫病患者肝脏功能的影响。方法 收集我国西部地区医院2014年至2015年期间确诊为肝包虫病的患者409例,抽取静脉血检测所有患者的肝功能指标;采用ELISA方法进行HBV表面抗原血清阳性测试;卡方检验明确HBV共感染在不同类型肝包虫病中的流行情况。以是否感染HBV为标准分组,以不同类型肝包虫病分层,对比HBV病毒共感染对不同类型肝包虫病患者肝脏功能的影响。结果 肝包虫病患者共感染HBV后出现转氨酶升高、白蛋白降低等更为严重的肝脏功能损伤。与囊型肝包虫病患者相比,以多房棘球绦虫为病原体的泡型肝包虫病患者发生HBV病毒共感染的机会更高(38.4% vs. 86.4%),差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。分层分析结果显示,以细粒棘球绦虫为病原体的囊型肝包虫病患者共感染HBV比无HBV共感染者肝脏功能损伤无统计学意义;但是以多房棘球绦虫为病原体的泡型肝包虫病共感染HBV患者较之无HBV共感染者表现出更为严重的肝脏损伤,肝功能指标显著下降(P均<0.05)。结论 泡型肝包虫病患者更容易出现HBV病毒共感染,并且会导致更严重的肝脏损伤,在临床治疗中需要特别重视。
ABSTRACT: Objective To clarify the effects of HBV co-infection on liver function of patients with different types of hepatic echinococcosis. Methods We recruited 409 patients diagnosed with hepatic echinococcosis at three hospitals in western regions in China from 2014 to 2015. Venous blood was withdrawn to detect to liver function indications. ELISA was performed to detect HBsAg. We analyzed liver function in patients stratified by different types of hepatic echinococcosis with or without HBV infection. Results The hepatic echinococcosis patients infected with HBV had more severe impairment in liver functions such as reduced albumin and increased transaminase. The patients with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis were more vulnerable to HBV infection compared with those with hepatic cystic echinococcosis (38.4% vs. 86.4%, P<0.05). In addition, liver injury was more severe in patients diagnosed with alveolar hepatic echinococcosis and HBV infection compared with those diagnosed with cystic hepatic echinococcosis and HBV infection (all P<0.05). Conclusion Hepatic alveolar echinococcosis patients co-infected with HBV have worse liver injury compared with those hepatic cystic echinococcosis ones co-infected with HBV. Therefore, they deserve special attention in clinical treatment

Abstract: leaves of bean plants (phaseolus vulgaris l.) deficient in potassium and the proper control of two cultivars were analysed in relation to ornithine transcarbamylase (e.c. 2.1.3.3) and glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (e.c. 2.6.1.1) activities. leaves of bean plants grown under potassium deficiency showed higher activities of both enzymes. these dada suggest that the accumulation of citrulline and arginine in potassium deficient plants was due to the higher activity of ornithine transcarbamylase, probably as a mechanism to reduce ammonium toxicity.

Abstract: Introducción: las enfermedades hepáticas son un serio problema de salud. El estudio de agentes de origen natural que disminuyan el da o hepático inducido por sustancias químicas ha despertado un interés especial. Objetivo: evaluar el efecto del Noni C sobre el da o hepático inducido por tetracloruro de carbono, en modelo experimental desarrollado en ratas Wistar machos. Métodos: se realizó estudio experimental y se usó como control positivo el tetracloruro de carbono a dosis de 0,3 mL/kg de peso, intraperitoneal, durante 3 días; y como control negativo solución salina. Se utilizaron 4 dosis (85, 130, 170 y 215 mg/kg de peso) de Noni C durante 6 días, postratamiento con tetracloruro de carbono. Se determinaron niveles de transaminasa glutámico pirúvica y glutámico oxalacética; también lesión hepática como tumefacción celular, hepatitis reactiva, esteatosis y necrosis. Resultados: se obtuvo reducción significativa de las transaminasas glutámico pirúvica y glutámico oxalacética a las dosis de 85 y 170 mg/kg de Noni C, y ausencia de necrosis y esteatosis en los grupos tratados con las dosis de 170 y 215 mg/kg de peso. Conclusiones: en los grupos tratados con Noni C disminuyó el da o hepático inducido por el tetracloruro de carbono. Introduction: liver diseases are a serious health problem. The study of natural agents that can reduce the chemical substance-induced hepatic damage has aroused a particular interest. Objective: to evaluate the effect of Noni C on the carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatic damage in an experimental model developed in male Wistar rats. Methods: An experimental study was conducted in which the positive control was carbon tetrachloride at a dose of 0.3 mL/kg of weight, intraperitoneally administered for 3 days, and the negative control was saline solution. Four doses of Noni C(85, 130, 170 and 215 mg/kg of weight) were administered for 6 days, after treatment with the carbon tetrachloride. glutamic piruvic and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase levels were determined, as well as hepatic lesions such as cell tumors, reactive hepatitis, steatosis and necrosis. Results: glutamic piruvic and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminases levels significantly decreased at doses of 85 and 170 mg/kg of Noni C, and no necrosis or steatosis was observed in the groups treated with 170 and 215 mg/kg doses. Conclusions: the carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatic damage diminished in the groups treated with Noni C.

Abstract: Gold and silver nanoparticles colloids were produced by irradiating a metallic target plates with a thickness of 1mm immersed in distilled water with a pulsed laser beam. The size and size distributions of the metals nanoparticles were examined by the transmission electron microscope TEM analysis. The nanoparticles concentrations were also characterized by atomic absorption spectroscopy AAS measurement. The effects of gold and silver nanoparticles were studied on the activities of GOT and GPT enzymes in the sera. Gold and silver nanoparticles demonstrated inhibitor effects on the (GOT) and (GPT) activities, and these effects increased with increasing the concentrations of the nanoparticles
Study of the Histological & Biochemical Effects of Hypothermia in Liver of Rats

Abstract: Introduction: Hypothermia is used as an adjunct in surgery of different organs including heart, liver, brain and thyroid .It can be produced by different techniques such as superficial cooling ,cooling of blood and pharmacological cooling . Hypothermia has several effects on function of different organs and tissues including heart, lung ,liver, brain ,thyroid and vascular system .In this study, the histological and biochemical effects of hypothermia on liver in rats have been investigated . Materials & Methods : This study was an intervention experimental study . Results: Superficial hypothermia was produced with the aid of hypothermia system by placing rats in it . Wistar rats were chosen as an animal model. Rats were anesthetized using 10% Hydrate chloral and placed in very deep hypothermia (20 c 1) for 4.5 hours. In the first group, blood sampling was carried out immediately after the hypothermia period. In the second, blood sampling and specimens were obtained 24h later. The histological studies of the liver showed that the nuclei of hepatocytes had become vesicular and the sinusoidal spaces were decreased. The serum levels of GPT were increased in the first group. But the serum levels of GOT were increased in both groups. Conclusion: The results indicate histological and biochemical effects of hypothermia on liver. It appears that the vascular changes induced by hypoxia are responsible for the effects of hypothermia.
Prevalence of Abnormal Serum Alanine Aminotransferase Levels in Type 2 Diabetic Patients in Iran

Abstract: This study was performed to estimate prevalence of transaminase levels in type 2 diabetic patients and identify contributing risk factors. In this cross-sectional study 348 patients with type 2 diabetes, who attended the diabetic clinic of Yazd Diabetes Research Center, were studied from October 2004 to December 2005. Patients with history of viral hepatitis, alcohol abuse and use of drug such as Amiodarone, Bleomycin, methotrexate, tamoxifen and sodium valporate was excluded. To examine the relationships between ALT, AST in individuals with type II diabetes and relation to various metabolic parameters like triglyceride, cholesterol, age, duration of diabetes, gender and BMI. Of 348 patients that entered the study, mean age was 58.8 ± 11.5. Elevated ALT and AST were found in 10.4 and 3.3% of type 2 diabetic patients, respectively. Although the prevalence of elevated ALT increased with increasing age, FBS and triglyceride levels in subjects, but it was not statistically significant. There was a significant association between elevated ALT and gender as well as diabetes duration. The prevalence of elevated of ALT in type 2 diabetic patients is 1.6 times higher than general population in Iran unrelated to age, BMI, glycemic control, triglyceride levels. Identification risk factors and mechanisms of these elevations are very important and require further evaluation.
