Analysis on Singularity of Fault Signals of High Spindle Based on Hermitian Wavelet

Abstract: The signal in the nature ofsingularity is always caused by mechanical fault of CNC machine tool.It is important to recognize the singularity correctly for mechanical fault diagnosis. This paper deals with the wavelet t ransform and the relation between the modulus maxima and the singularity detection , and based on the excellent property of the Hermitian wavelet , poses the conception that applies it in fault diagnosis of the high speed spindle. On the base of analyzing singularity characters and wavelet detection mechanism of the singular signals ,the Hermitian continuous wavelet transform is applied in extraction and analysis of the fault signals.Fault detection and positioning of high speed spindle is completed by the modulus maxima point distribution in transform.Results of simulation verify the effectiveness of the method.
Tribological Behavior of Stellite 720 Coating under Block-on-Ring Wear Test  [PDF]

Abstract: Stellite 720 is a high-carbon Co-Cr-Mo alloy, designed for severe wear/corrosion environments. This article presents a study of the Stellite 720 coating on stainless steel 304 under block-on-ring wear test. The coating is deposited through a slurry/powder metallurgy sintering process. Micro-hardness indentation test is conducted on the cross section of the coating specimen to investigate the hardness of individual phases of the coating material and the dilution effect of the substrate material on the coating layer. The tribological behavior of the coating under low and high load wear is investigated. The worn surfaces of the coating specimens are analyzed using a Philips XL30S FEG scanning electron micro- scope (SEM) with an EDAX energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy system. The experimental results are discussed to explore the wear mechanisms of the Stellite 720 coating under block-on-ring wear.

Abstract: In this paper, a tri-dimensional filter method for nonlinear programming was proposed. We add a parameter into the traditional filter for relaxing the criterion of iterates. The global convergent properties of the proposed algorithm are proved under some appropriate conditions.
Representations of lift bicircular matroids

Abstract: Lift bicircular matroids are a class of matroids defined on the edge set of a graph. For a given graph $G$, the circuits of its lift bicircular matroid are the edge sets of those subgraphs of $G$ that contain at least two cycles, and are minimal with respect to this property. The main result of this paper is a characterization of when two graphs give rise to the same lift bicircular matoid, which answers a question proposed by Irene Pivotto. In particular, aside from some appropriately defined ``small" graphs, two graphs have the same lift bicicular matroid if and only if they are $2$-isomorphic in the sense of Whitney.
On the canonical degrees of Gorenstein three folds of general type

Abstract: Let $X$ be a Gorenstein minimal projective $3$-fold with at worst locally factorial terminal singularities. Suppose that the canonical map is generically finite onto its image. C. Hacon showed that the canonical degree is universally bounded by $576$. We improved Hacon's universal bound to $360$. Moreover, we gave all the possible canonical degrees of $X$ if $X$ is an abelian cover over $\mathbb{P}^3$ and constructed all the examples with these canonical degrees.
Canonical maps of surfaces defined by Abelian covers

Abstract: In this paper, we classified the surfaces whose canonical maps are abelian covers over $\mathbb{P}^2$. Moveover, we construct a new Campedelli surface with fundamental group $\mathbb{Z}_2^{\oplus 3}$ and give defining equations for Perssson's surface and Tan's surfaces with odd canonical degrees explicitly.
On the Griffiths numbers for higher dimensional singularities

Abstract: We show that Yau's conjecture on the inequalities for (n-1)-th Griffiths number and (n-1)-th Hironaka number does not hold for isolated rigid Gorenstein singularities of dimension greater than 2. But his conjecture on the inequality for (n-1)-th Griffiths number is true for irregular singularities.

Abstract: This paper studies the optimal investment problem for utility maximization with multiple risky assets under the constant elasticity of variance (CEV) model. By applying stochastic optimal control approach and variable change technique, we derive explicit optimal strategy for an investor with logarithmic utility function. Finally, we analyze the properties of the optimal strategy and present a numerical example.

The distribution and morphology alterations of microfilaments and microtubules in the mesophyll cells and root-tip cells of wheat seedlings, which had been radiated by enhanced ultraviolet-B (10.08 KJ·m-2·d-1), were examined through the confocal laser scanning microscope (Model FV1000, Olympus, Japan). Microtubule was labeled with an indirect immunofluorescence staining method, and microfilament was labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate-phalloidin (FITC-Ph) as probes. The results indicated that microtubules in mesophyll cells, compared with the controls, would be depolymerized significantly, and dispersed randomly showing some spots or short rods in the cytoplasm, under the enhanced UV-B radiation condition. The microtubule bundles tended to be diffused, and the fluorescence intensity of that significantly decreased. The distribution pattern of microfilaments, which usually arranged parallelly in control cells, was broken up by enhanced UV-B radiation. We further investigated the distribution and morphology of microtubules in root-tip cells during every stage of cell division, and found that these aberrant phenomena of microtubules were often associated with abnormal cell division. Our findings suggested that the distribution, morphology and structure of cytoskeleton in mesophyll cells and root-tip cells of wheat seedlings would be affected by enhanced UV-B radiation, which might be related to abnormal cell division caused by enhanced UV-B radiation as an extracellular signal.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Co(C14H16N2O4)2(H2O)2]n, the CoII atom, lying on an inversion center, is coordinated by six O atoms in a distorted octahedral geometry. The CoII atoms are bridged by the nitronyl nitroxide ligands into a tape-like structure along the b axis. The tapes are further connected by O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a layer parallel to the bc plane.
