Jacob, José Luiz Balthazar;Salis, Fernando Vilela;Ruiz, Milton A.;Greco, Oswaldo Tadeu;
Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S0066-782X2007001400014
Abstract: stem cell transplantation is a new therapy applied to produce cardiac regeneration through differentiation or increase of heart myocytes or neovascular proliferation in patients in the end stage of congestive heart failure secondary to dilated cardiomyopathy1, but the results are still unknown2,3.

Ruiz Delgado,Fernando;
Política criminal , 2009, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-33992009000200004
Abstract: the new offense of article 4 of law 20.000 has generated cases of apparent competition of laws because the same criminal conduct appears in three different standards, due to the imprecision of the "small amount" element, whose content must be by courts, even to the point where it becomes an invitation for judges to determine the applicable criminal elements by considering the applicable elements of the sub lite case. the aforementioned concept has even been omitted by establishing others elements to characterize conducts, creating doctrinary and jurisprudential confusion. the indeterminacy of other comprised elements of the typical description, such as "exclusive personal and close in time use" and "circumstances of carriage or possession" referred to in article 4 are also useless for solving this apparent competition, due to their indeterminacy.
Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary trunk in a 45-year-old woman
Jacob, José Luiz Balthazar;Salis, Fernando Vilela;
Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0066-782X2003001000008
Abstract: we report a rare case of anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary trunk in a 45-year-old woman. the approach and technique used for selective catheterization of an anomalous left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary trunk are described. six years after diagnosis, echocardiography showed left ventricular disfunction, and surgical treatment was indicated again. the origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary trunk was closed, and the postoperative period was uneventful, with recovery of left ventricular function and disappearance of ischemic features on stress myocardial perfusion imaging with 99m tc-sestamibi, performed 4 weeks after surgery.

Weak Dispersive estimates for Schr?dinger equations with long range potentials
J. A. Bercelo,A. Ruiz,L. Vega,M. C. Vilela
Mathematics , 2008,
Abstract: We prove some local smoothing estimates for the Schr\"{o}dinger initial value problem with data in $L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)$, $d \geq 2$ and a general class of potentials. In the repulsive setting we have to assume just a power like decay $(1+|x|)^{-\gamma}$ for some $\gamma>0$. Also attractive perturbations are considered. The estimates hold for all time and as a consequence a weak dispersion of the solution is obtained. The proofs are based on similar estimates for the corresponding stationary Helmholtz equation and Kato H-smooth theory.
A priori estimates for the Helmholtz equation with electromagnetic potentials in exterior domains
Juan Antonio Barceló,Luca Fanelli,Alberto Ruiz,Maricruz Vilela
Mathematics , 2011,
Abstract: We study the Helmholtz equation with electromagnetic-type perturbations, in the exterior of a domain, in dimension $n\geq3$. We prove, by multiplier techniques in the sense of Morawetz, a family of a priori estimates from which the limiting absorption principle follows. Moreover, we give some standard applications to the absence of embedded eigenvalues and zero-resonances, under explicit conditions on the potentials.
Ruiz-Morales, Fernando C.
Revista de Dialectología y Tradiciones Populares , 2011, DOI: 10.3989/rdtp.2011.16
Abstract: From the end of the 1950s onwards, numerous workers emigrated from Spain to Belgium. Many of them took flamenco music and dance practice with them as a means of relating to one another at gatherings, parties and other spaces for sociability. Soon, this form of expression became emblematic and constituted a powerful medium to maintain bonds between the emigrants, but it was also an instrument for integration into local society, as well as a source of economic resources. A dense network of restaurants, bars and associations run by Spaniards were formed, in which flamenco played a significant role. This paper describes this process up to the end of Franco’s regime and outlines the main components related with sociability based around flamenco within this context.
