The Slope - Valley Relation of the ieu Morphohydrographic Basin in the S r el - Some ul Mare Junction Sector

Abstract: The ieu river, a tributary of the Some u Mare river, streams from the north – eastern end of the C limani mountains, at the contact between the peaks of the C liman Mountains and the Bistri a Depression, under the C liman piedmont. The genesis and spatial development of the ieu river basin is the result of its position in the northern extremity of the Transylvanian Depression, but also of the Transylvanian – Pannonian micro-board mobility, which generated a series of changes of the subsidence areas in the lower sector of the ieu River. The relief of the Transylvanian Depression, by its actual appearance, is but a short sequence of the series of geomorphological changes. Distinguishing them may follow different paths depending on the purpouse, requirements and possibilities, one of which is represented by the analysis of the morphogenetic manifestation in the valley – slope systems, based on methodological support provided by functional geomorphology. Attention will be directed to the S r el sector – the juncture with the Some u Mare river, where contemporary alluvial processes (alluvial bed elevation, the presence of sloughing sectors) the appearance of sectors due to the saliferous Quaternary neotectonics, the agrotecnical exploitation of land use, contribute to changes in the report of the slope – valley system. In this fluvial geomorphology study the spatio – temporal frame of the analysed system accounts for 268 km2, of a total of 1691 km2. The alternation of some saliferous horizons (the S rata and S r el Valleys) with other more friable ones (clays, marls, gravel) in addition to the fact that it is fully visible, it induces differentiations even in the water bed, valley sectors. The emergence of a series of wide NV–SE axial – plane separations: the Sl tini a anticline, the T rpiu synclinal, confer unicity to the sector.

Abstract: According to the leading national classification of the climate of China, given by B. Huang (revised version 1986), Hainan falls into the tropical climatic realm, subdivided into a "peripheral tropical" type for the northern part and a "middle tropical" type for the southern part of the island. While all-year-round frost-free conditions define the tropics in general, the 20t-isotherm for the coldest month represents the boundary between the peripheral tropical and middle tropical types. Compared to the tropical climate in general, Hainan experiences distinctly lower winter temperatures which thus result in a larger annual temperature variation. In terms of precipitation, Hainan records a long rainy season through the southwest monsoon and typhoon seasons from May until October while winter precipitation is comparably lower. Representing two agroclimatic hazards, strong typhoon winds and cold waves seriously affect Hainan. Although to be defined as "marginal tropica-1", the climatic conditions on Hainan

Abstract: This paper introduces the successful experiments to determine the 14C dating of the samples by using the chemical treatment of lithium carbide(Li2C2). The key of the success lies in the restraining of the sublimation of lithium^ The authors suggest the principle and programme of innovating the cooling equipment of lithium reactor in this paper.The results were satisfactory.By using this method the ratio of transformation from CO2 to C2H2 could reach as high as 98 percent, while by using SrC2 method, the ratio is 70 percent.40 14C dating data are published here.Among them four data were compared or rectified with the data measured by other laboratories.They all showed very good coincidence.

Abstract: Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Information and communications are closely linked to power and the ability to affect change. ICT is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, computer etc. Socially the majorities of Indian women are still tradition bound and are in disadvantageous position. ICTs are emerging as a powerful tool for women empowerment in a developing country like India. The sample size of the research was 200 by no. of trainees and 30 by no of instructors of different Governmental and Nongovernmental Organizations of Jaipur district. Researcher used random sampling technique to select the sample for the study. The data was collected with the help of self constructed questionnaire. The analysis of mean and graphical representation used for the analysis of data indicated that the Age group, Marital status, Educational level had significant effect on different variable of women empowerment like Self confidence, Self awareness, Independence and Feeling of freedom. The study can be used to create awareness among women for betterment of their live. This research concluded that the information and communication technology empower a women in various areas like social, educational, personal, psychological, political, technological and economical.

Abstract: This paper present the operational principle of ocean radar altimeter and the last de- velopment. The principle diagram of the radar altimeter is given. Emphsis is placed on dis- cussion, analysis and calculation of the technical problems in development of the radar al- timeter. Also the criterion of taking in some technical promblems is presented. It's helpful to designing of the ocean radar altemeter in the absence of contidition to carry out experi- mental research of radar almtimeters. and without the measuring parameter.
The “LEADER Approach” - New Development Opportunity for Rural Areas in Slovenia

Abstract: Integrated rural development programmes, which are prepared with the active involvement of local citizens, have a long tradition in Slovenia. In the period 1991-2006, Slovenia introduced “Programmes of Integrated Rural Development and Village Renewal” and “Development Programmes for Rural Areas”, which were quite similar to the LEADER initiative in theEuropean Union. From the 2007-2013 programming period, the LEADER approach has been mainstreamed within the overall EU rural development policy. This means that LEADER is included in national and regional rural development programmes supported by the EU,alongside a range of other rural development axes. The main emphasis of the current paper is given to the implementation of the LEADER approach and establishment of local action groups in the 2007-2013 programming period. The paper consists of three parts. The first part presents the general characteristics of the LEADER approach and the measures which are carried out in the 2007-2013 Rural Development Programme. In the second part, an analysis of 33 Local Action Groups is described. The main focus is given to spatial-demographic characteristics, the partnership structure, and the organisation of the decision making body.The paper concludes with an analysis of 33 Local Development Strategies. We analysed the extent to which the strategic goals and priority tasks of Local Development Strategies follow the economic, social and spatial-environmental component of sustainable development.

Abstract: The effect of addition of Zn,Cu,Pb and Cr chlorides as admixtures on the hydration reaction of the system 3CaO·Al2O3-gypsum with molar ratio 1:3 was studied.Different ratios of each salt were used,namely 0.5%,2% and 4% by weight of the solid mixture.Hydration reaction was carried out at 35℃ for various time intervals from 0.5 h to up to 7 d.Hydration rate of the system 3CaO-Al2O3-CaSO4·2H2O in absence and presence of different salts was studied via the determination of the combined water contents.X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the ettringite was the only hydration product formed in the different mixes.The hydration products were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermal gravimetric analysis.The results indicated that the rate of formation of ettringite and its microstructure depend on the admixture and its dosage.

Abstract: The optimization problems belong to the family of the most important engineering problems. The objective of this paper is to proposed a very efficient numerical algo- rithm which is involved in an optimal design procedure in the field of viscoplasticity phenomena. Because of the complexity of design procedure, particularly in the field of viscoplas- ticity, the finite element method is used. This method provides a good structural discretization and very efficient mathematical describing of time-rate effects. Accord- ing to the design specifications, which will dictate a limiting design strain, using the proposed algorithm, the design life of the considered structure will be covered. For the justification of the proposed method an example is presented. On the basis of specifications data and environment conditions, an operating pressure of a pressure vessel is obtained.
