New spectral data of some flavonoids from Deguelia hatschbachii A.M.G. Azevedo
Magalh?es, Aderbal F.;Tozzi, Ana M. G. A.;Magalh?es, Eva G.;Moraes, Valéria R. de S.;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532003000100022
Abstract: from the roots of deguelia hatschbachii, the known flavonoids scandenin (1), methyl robustate (2) and 4',5- dihydroxy-6-(3,3-dimethylalyll)-7-methoxy flavanone (3) were isolated and characterized by comparison of their spectroscopic data with those found in the literature. now the inclusion of 1d- and 2d-nmr and ms/ms data has allowed the complete assignment of all hydrogen and carbon chemical shifts in their nmr spectra, as well as the elucidation of the fragmentation pathways of 1-3 in the mass spectrometer.

Mulheres empreendedoras: o desafio da escolha do empreendedorismo e o exercício do poder
Jonathan, Eva G.;
Psicologia Clínica , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-56652011000100005
Abstract: this article aims to think about women's relationship to power, based a synthesis of observations made in different studies on women's entrepreneurship. in view of the challenge of choosing entrepreneurship, analyses are performed on women's motivations to become entrepreneurs, on the consequences of this choice, as well as on the difficulties faced by women entrepreneurs and the strategies they use to cope with different demands linked to the multiplicity of gender roles. the examination of leadership characteristics of women entrepreneurs reveals that they tend to build social networks and to use their power with others and not over others. furthermore, it becomes evident that women social entrepreneurs in charge of their social ventures, while exercising their power on behalf of women, aim to empower them and promote their social and professional inclusion thus causing significant social, economical and cultural changes.
La reciprocidad. Algunas reflexiones a partir de las Homilías I a IV de Gregorio de Nisa
Reyes G.,Eva;
Teología y vida , 2002, DOI: 10.4067/S0049-34492002000200020
Abstract: saint gregory of nissa has emphasi sed the difference between the nature of the created being and the uncreated one, between the finite being and the infinite one. if that is so, the author wonders whether man, immersed in this infinite movement towards the infinite, will ever be able to attain his desired possession of the god. gregory deal with the indefinite character of this search, but without meaning that god is unattainable. the soul has access to the divinity accomplished through christ's mediation, who is truly god. once the human nature is placed in a horizontal dimension with god, the joy if such encounter will be expressed by means of symbols of recipro city. then, human nature is capable of offering god, its own goods, which paradoxically correspond to the fruits received by grace, making visible the one he has received in his own interiority
Civil society participation in EU governance
Eva G. Heidbreder
Living Reviews in European Governance , 2012,
Abstract: For the longest time, the participation of civil society has not been an area of interest for neither EU researchers nor political decision-makers. This changed with a rising interest in the democratic credentials of the European Union. With the end of the initial permissive consensus on EU integration, civil society emerged as a possible remedy to bridge the gap between supranational governance and citizens. This Living Review presents the two dominant analytical perspectives on civil society participation: the notion of civil society as organized actors that contribute actively to multilevel governance, and civil society as the mold for an emerging European public sphere. Both these conceptual views are reflected in hands-on initiatives on the EU level. On the one hand, the European Commission in particular promotes the inclusion of organized societal interests in the informal decision-making procedures. On the other hand, various forms of deliberative practices have been introduced that build on the encompassing notion of constituting a trans-European public sphere. The review offers a comprehensive overview on the multiple definitions of civil society and the distinct role attributions these coexisting conceptions imply. The contribution draws a number of critical conclusions on the actual outcomes that the active promotion of civil society participation has thus achieved, and questions whether civil society participation has indeed led to a more grounded legitimacy of EU decisions or a more settled European public sphere.

Procedural Justice and Innovation: Does Procedural Justice Foster Innovative Behavior?  [PDF]
Bernhard Streicher, Eva Jonas, Günter W. Maier, Dieter Frey
Psychology (PSYCH) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/psych.2012.312A162
Abstract:

The influence of procedural justice on intended innovative behavior was studied in a sample of students and employees. Although earlier studies suggests that procedural justice increases innovation-related behavior such as spontaneous cooperation, so far systematic research is scarce. Results indicated that the provision of voice increased participants’ intention to show innovative behavior such as task revision, creativity, and persistence in a business simulation task. Furthermore, the effects found were mediated by intrinsic motivation and identification, but not by occupational self-efficacy. These findings suggest that justice in organizations and procedural fair conditions in particular can drive innovations.

Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532003000300007
Abstract: our taxonomic interest in the neoraputia stimulated an investigation of n. paraensis searching for alkaloids. fractions were monitored by 1h nmr and esi-ms/ms and only those which showed features of anthranilate alkaloids and flavonoids absent in the previous investigations were examined. stems afforded the alkaloids flindersine, skimmianine, 8-methoxyflindersine and dictamnine; leaves yielded 3',4',7,8-tetramethoxy-5,6-(2",2"-dimethylpyrano)-flavone, 3',4',5,7,8-pentamethoxyflavone, 5-hydroxy-3',4',6,7-tetramethoxyflavone, 3',4'-methylenedioxy-5,6,7-trimethoxyflavone and 5-hydroxy-3',4'-methylenedioxy-6,7-dimethoxyflavone. the alkaloids have remained undiscovered for 10 years. a number of flavonoids isolated from n. paraensis, n. magnifica, murraya paniculata, citrus sinensis graft (rutaceae), lonchocarpus montanus (leguminosae) were evaluated for their ability to inhibit the enzymatic activity of the protein glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase from trypanosoma cruzi. highly oxygenated flavones and isoflavone were the most actives.
Comunidades de Chironomidae (Diptera) en arroyos de monta?a del NOA: comparación entre Yungas y Monte
Tejerina,Eva G.; Molineri,Carlos;
Revista de la Sociedad Entomol?3gica Argentina , 2007,
Abstract: chironomid communities in two geographic areas were studied: one from the biogeographic province of monte, and the other from yungas (at two altitudinal levels, low mountain jungle and the high mountain forest). a taxonomic list is firstly presented for the region, including 15 genera in five subfamilies. the studied sites from monte region were characterized by high densities of pentaneura sp., parametriocnemus sp., and podonominae spp. lopescladius sp. appeared only in yungas (both low and high levels). pseudochironomus sp. and orthocladiinae 1 are characteristic of the higher levels in yungas , while lower yungas sites showed higher densities of onconeura sp. and rheotanytarsus sp. the highest sites (from monte and higher yungas) shared the occurrence of the cold stenothermic taxa podonominae and diamesinae.

Svensk Biblioteksforskning , 2007,
Abstract: Vilken syn har biblioteken p popul rkultur?
