Abstract: this study aims at systematizing with the participants of culture circles a proposal of reconstruction of actions of health education that show the necessary competences to the nurses of family health program for a practice in education on critical and reflexive health. it is constituted of a research action, where the researcher based in "paulo freire method" is encouraging debates in eight culture circles having the participation of ten nurses. the circles give them the training of a political conscience , essential to the process of " empowerment " of the health professional in practicing his socio-politics competence. the proposal of achieving the culture circles establish a link of complicity between health professionals and communitarian groups with the actions of health promotion.

Abstract: O objetivo do estudo foi conhecer como os indígenas Pankararu percebem sua situa o de saúde, e identificar que a es priorizam como necessárias para a promo o da saúde em sua comunidade. Pesquisa qualitativa. Os depoimentos coletados foram submetidos à técnica de análise do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Na percep o dos indígenas, quanto à situa o de saúde de sua comunidade, foi ressaltado uma carência de assistência geral e falta de profissionais para atender conforme suas necessidades. Em rela o às a es que os indígenas priorizam como necessárias para a promo o à saúde da comunidade foram destacadas a oferta de postos de saúde com profissionais capacitados e o acesso às a es de educa o em saúde. Foi proposta uma reformula o das organiza es e estabelecimentos dos subsistemas na promo o à saúde indígena. El estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer como los Indígenas Pankararu perciben su situación de salud e identificar que acciones de salud ellos priorizan como necesarias para la promoción de la salud de su comunidad. Investigación con abordaje cualitativo. Las declaraciones colectadas fueron sometidas a la técnica de análisis del Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo. Fue identificado en la percepción de los indígenas, en relación a la situación de salud de su comunidad, la falta de asistencia general y la falta de profesionales para atender de acuerdo con las necesidades de los indios. En relación a las acciones que los indígenas priorizan como necesarias para promover la salud de su comunidad se pusieron de relieve, la provisión de puestos con profesionales capacitados y el acceso a las acciones de educación en salud. Así pues, se propuso una reforma de las organizaciones y establecimientos de los subsistemas en la promoción de la salud indígena. The objective of the study was to know how the Pankararu indigenous perceive their health situation and identify actions they prioritize as necessary to promote health in their community. Qualitative research, in which the declarations collected were subjected to the technique of analyzing the Collective Subject Discourse. It was identified that in the indigenous perception, as the health status of their community, there is a lack of general assistance, and a lack of professionals to assist them meeting their needs. Abstract: from the revolutionary changes in reality concept, caused by physics and modern thoughts, new consistent vision of the world emerge and it is influenced from the classic physics to quantum physics transition. the aim of this study is to show capra's thoughts influenced the ecologic nursing care dissemination. the new paradigm can be called an ecologic view in a wider and deeper perspective. health in the holistic view of men with its relationship encompass an ecological thought in which requires nurses' competence area. also it needs a critical thinking towards knowing, being and doing in order to compromise changes to raise emotions, enchantment and to take care of nature for the quality and existence of humanity.

Abstract: Estudo descritivo-exploratório, qualitativo, que tem como objetivos, investigar as a es socioeducativas oferecidas aos adolescentes infratores em regime de semiliberdade, bem como, apreender opini es e sugest es desses jovens para mudan as no planejamento das a es socioeducativas desenvolvidas por essas unidades de atendimento. Participaram 30 adolescentes do sexo masculino nos meses de julho a setembro de 2009. Os depoimentos foram gravados, transcritos e analisados mediante o Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo, sendo os mesmos, decompostos em três idéias centrais: Atividades e afazeres dos adolescentes que cumprem medida socioeducativa; Atua o da FUNASE (Funda o de Atendimento Socioeducativo) na reeduca o e ressocializa o dos adolescentes; Sugest es dos adolescentes para mudan as no planejamento das a es socioeducativas desenvolvidas pela institui o. O estabelecimento das possibilidades de atividades socioeducativas constitui uma ferramenta essencial para o adolescente infrator, pois extrapola as limita es impostas pelas medidas de priva o de liberdade que comprometem o convívio social do mesmo. Essas atividades socioeducativas possibilitam reorienta o na forma o desse adolescente, que n o é apenas infrator, mas vítima da violência social decorrente de um processo de exclus o de medidas e condi es necessárias à promo o do desenvolvimento humano. Destaca-se o papel do enfermeiro que deve agregar ao seu fazer cotidiano, estratégias e práticas comprometidas com a promo o à saúde do adolescente sob medida socioeducativa. Estudio descriptivo-exploratorio, cualitativo, que tiene por objetivo investigar las acciones socioeducativas ofrecidas a los adolescentes infractores en régimen de semilibertad, así como recoger las opiniones y las sugerencias de esos jóvenes sobre los cambios en el planeamiento de las acciones socioeducativas desarrolladas por esas unidades de atención. Participaron 30 adolescentes del sexo masculino durante los meses de julio a septiembre de 2009. Abstract: we understand the integrality in people's care, groups and collectivity having the client as a historical, social and political subject, integrated to his family context, to the environment and the society in which he is inserted. in this scenery the importance of education actions in health is highlighted as an integrating strategy of a collective knowledge that translates in the individual his autonomy and emancipation. based on this comprehension the study aims to reflect on the principle of the integrality as an axis director of the education actions in health. the education in health as a pedagogical and political process requests the development of a critical and reflexive thinking, allowing to reveal the reality and to propose transforming actions, while historical and social subject able to propose and to give opinions in the decisions of health for his own care, of his family and of the collectivity.

Abstract:
This is a cross-sectional epidemiological study that analyzes knowledge about penile cancer among patients with human papillomavirus (HPV), monitored at the Reference Center for Urological Treatment of Arcoverde, Pernambuco, Brazil. The population of this study consisted of 27 men with a medical diagnosis of genital HPV infection within the period between 2008 and 2013. Age ranged between 20 and 49 years-old and most men were brown-skinned, married, and had a low socioeconomic status; also, most individuals were infected for more than 1 year and there was recurrence of HPV infection. We identified that 77.8% of the patients were unaware of the relationship between HPV and penile cancer. In addition to HPV infection, smoking and unprotected sex stood out as risk factors for penile cancer. The prevalence of penile cancer in the sample was 4%. We concluded that HPV patients knew about penile cancer, but they did not associate this disease with the need to adopt mutilating treatments.

Abstract: the study has as a goal, elaborate a nursing intervention in health education, focusing on health promotion from a group of elderly people using arts as tool. this is an action research, conducted through weekly meetings, previously defined in placeholder. in the meetings the following themes were explored: reception; construction of life histories; removing masks; traveling in imagination/ diversity of scenarios; working the emotion: nonverbal communication; body work: moving on the stage; making faces; shop characters; rehearsing a theater play - what life has taught me and what you can anticipate. the theatre showed an excellent way in the empowerment of the elderly population from the recovery and their life experiences.

Abstract: an exploratory, descriptive, qualitative study was carried out with the objectives of investigating the socio-educative activities offered to adolescent offenders in semi-liberty, as well as seeking the opinions and suggestions of these young people in order to make changes to the organization of socio-educative activities developed by attendance units. 30 male adolescents took part during the months of june to september, 2009. the interviews were recorded, transcribed and analyzed using o discurso do sujeito coletivo (dsc- a recognized research technique) which can be deconstructed into three central ideas: the activities and daily tasks of the adolescents taking part in the socio-educative programs; the work of the funase (foundation for socio-educative attendance) in the reeducation and social reintegration of the adolescent offenders; suggestions from the adolescents for changes in the organization of socio-educative activities developed by the institution. the establishment of opportunities for socio-educative activities constitutes an essential tool for the adolescent offender, because it outlines the limitations of loss of liberty imposed by the measures, which can compromise the offender?s social inclusion. these socio-educative activities allow for reorientation in the education of the adolescents, who are not only offenders but also victims of social violence which stems from a process of social exclusion from the measures and conditions that are necessary for the promotion of human development. the role of nurses is highlighted, including their day-to-day strategies and practices, which involve promotion of the health of the adolescents taking part in the socio-educative program.

Abstract: Objective: to identify the determinative factors of the displacement of female users from the city of Recife and other cities for the accomplishment of Papanicolaou′s exam. Methodology: this is about an exploratory descriptive study, from qualitative boarding. It was applied a form by the interview technique for 30 women from january to february 2008. The depositions had been recorded and transcribed. Results analysis was based on the Collective Citizen Speech, after study has been approved by the Ethics Committee of the Integrated Health Center Amaury de Medeiros (protocol number 087/07). Results: it had been presented in six Central Ideas: the delay of the results in the UBS, to know the professionals that realize the exam, exposition of the body to a men professional, inadequate access to the basic attendance, lack of information in health education, unprepared techniques and fragility in the relation between the same ones and the users. Conclusion: this study evidenced the need of the practical of integral and humanived attendance to women who submit to the Papanicolaou's exam, in a way that the nurses tuts into bractice partipative actions in Health Education participative, propitiating bond between the professional and the female users of the health services. Culture Circle as a Teaching Approach in the Education of Teenager Health Multipliers on Leprosy Awareness  [PDF]

Abstract: Objective: The study aims to evaluate the use of a teaching method proposed by Paulo Freire, Culture Circles, in the education of teenagers multipliers on leprosy awareness. Methods: It is an action-research study with a qualitative approach developed in a public school in Pernambuco, Brazil. Five Culture Circles were conducted involving the participation of 26 teenagers. The followings were used as data collection tools: observation, field notes, photography and filming. Results: The educational intervention on health addressed the following topics: 1) Definition and transmission of leprosy; 2) Characteristics and diagnosis of leprosy; 3) Treatment of leprosy; 4) Aesthetics, prejudice and mental health related to leprosy; and 5) Planning of educational activities for teenagers as health multipliers on leprosy awareness. The educational action on health provided this age group to perceive themselves, act as political subjects in the development of Culture Circles, and act as protagonists in the dissemination of knowledge on leprosy. Conclusions: This study highlights that the application of active methodologies, such as Culture Circles, is able to encourage the engagement of young people in community empowerment and bring together health professionals and the school community in an intersectoral work in order to develop action strategies involving the promotion of health in the context of neglected diseases such as leprosy.
