Marchezan, Enio;
Ciência Rural , 1995, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-84781995000200001
Abstract: the objective of this research was to characterize the influence of the meteorological elements in the head rice grains. three irrigated rice cultivars were sowed at four distincts dates, during the recommended sowing period for the state of s?o paulo. it was concluded that the percentage of head rice grains was more affected by the moisture content than by the harvesting time. the amplitude between minimum and maximum air relative humidity associated with the duration of the period in which air relative humidity was above 90% certainly was sufficient to cause fissures in grains with moisture content below 18%.

Passiani,Enio;
Universitas Humanística , 2011,
Abstract: the process of formation of a court society in brazil may be interpreted according the norbert elias theory, by considering three major aspects in social formation: 1) socialization codes and rules developed in the brazilian court and publicized through books on good manners, like the código de bom-tom, written by portuguese canon josé inácio roquette, published in portugal in 1845 and declared mandatory in noble circles in brazil during the imperial state (1822-1889); 2) building a national state in brazil calls for an analysis on the role and importance of slavery in its formation and continuity, but keeping in mind that at the same time slavery was a deep obstacle in the diffusion of civilizing processes at that time and further on; 3) the meaning of a social institution like the armed forces during monarchy in brazil (1822-1889), which paradoxically may have been one of the most important civilizing forces in the country.

Sociedade e Estado , 2012,
The Brazil's court society making process can be understood, under the light of Norbert Elias theory, if it was considered, at least, two historical important aspects: 1) codes and rules of sociability developed into the Brazilian court and publicized by good manners books, like Código de Bom-tom, written by the Portuguese canon José Inácio Roquette, published in Portugal in 1845, and by the diffusion and consumption of moral novels, both of them an obligatory reading inside noble circles in Brazil during the Regency (1808-1822) and Imperial State (1822-1889); 2) the Brazilian National State constitution requires to examine the role and importance of slavery in its formation and maintenance, considering such slavery as a deep obstacle for the civilizing process diffusion in the entire Brazilian society at that time and so on.

Afinidades seletivas: uma compara o entre as sociobiologias da literatura de Pierre Bourdieu e Raymond Williams Selective kinships: comparing the literarture sociologies od Pierre Bourdieu and Raymond Williams
Enio Passiani
Raymond Williams. Sociologia da literatura. “Habitus”. Estruturas de sentimento. The literature sociologies of Bourdieu and Williams are structured in two fundamental concepts: “habitus” and “sentiment structures”, respectively. It’s very clear the resemblance between them: both try to translate a kind of practical conscience, acquired by the social agents from a particular socializing process. To the fi rst, the “habitus” is internalized in the living experience of a specifi c fi eld; while that to the second that conscience is formed in the interior of cultural groups. In this sense, both ideas talk about shared values which approximate and withdraw some agents one from the others, creating solidarity and competition. This text intends to show that, despite of the existing differences, the authors concepts don’t overestimate neither the reproduction, nor the social change, but, otherwise, try to explain these phenomena as a dialectic game. Keywords: Pierre Bourdieu. Raymond Williams. Literature sociology. “Habitus”. Sentiment structues.
