Abstract: community health agents (chas) are considered important for the implementation of the sus (sistema único de saúde/single health system), especially for reinforcing primary health care. their work may lead to situations that generate realization and/or experiences that are determining for motivation. this study aims to characterize the labor process of the chas in an area of teresina, state of piauí, brazil, describing their perceptions about work and their motivations. thirty-one chas took part in the study. this is an exploratory and descriptive qualitative review. in order to collect data, we used the focus group method. six focus groups were held, one per family health team belonging to the territory. the discussions were based on three guiding questions, recorded in mp4, and then transcribed and categorized. five categories were created to present and discuss the results. it was noticed that the chas have an understanding of the importance of their work, but they feel discouraged for not getting support and recognition, in certain situations, from the community, the team itself, and from the city's management. there is a desire for the appreciation of their work.

Abstract: O Aspergillus flavus e a subespécie próxima relacionada parasiticus têm sido reconhecidas por muito tempo como contaminadores principais de produtos organicos e inorganicos. A. flavus, um fungo comum do solo, pode infestar uma larga escala de produtos agrícolas. Algumas variedades de A. flavus produzem as aflatoxinas, que s o toxinas neoplásicas capazes de induzir neoplasia hepática em animais de laboratório. O crescimento de A. flavus e a biossíntese da aflatoxina depende da carca a, da umidade, da temperatura, do pH, da aera o e da microflora competindo. As aflatoxinas s o consideradas contaminantes naturais; cuja aproxima o ideal de controle é a preven o do crescimento do fungo e produ o das aflatoxinas nos produtos. As aflatoxinas (B1, B2, G1 e G2) s o metabólitos secundários associados à toxicidade causada por alimenta es em animais. As aflatoxinas s o relatadas como sendo hepatotóxicas, mutagênicas, imunossupressora e neoplásicas. A exposi o as aflatoxinas dietéticas é considerada um fator de risco importante para o desenvolvimento de neoplasia hepatocelular em determinadas regi es do mundo. A indu o de adutos no DNA pela aflatoxina B1 no fígado foi revista extensivamente em uma avalia o quantitativa de fatores de risco a neoplasias por aflatoxinas. As aflatoxinas s o pró-neoplásicas, reagindo com o ácido desoxirribonucléico (DNA), ácido ribonucléico (RNA) e as proteínas. Atualmente, vários avan os científicos têm sido feitos a fim de compreender a toxicologia clínica das aflatoxinas.

Abstract: teacher's relations with the contents they teach, essential constituents of teaching activity and fundamental for the formation of professional identity, have not yet been paid the attention they deserve by researchers. this article aims to discuss the theoretical possibilities provided by the combination of the categories "teacher's knowledge" and "school knowledge" while researching teacher's relations with the contents they teach. implicit in these categories is the understanding of the specificity of educational activity which helps the development of an epistemology of teaching practice, different from that inherent to scientific knowledge, allowing the development of research on teaching provided with the appropriate theoretical instruments to face the emergent challenges.

Abstract: The aims of this paper are to present two methods combined for teaching and learning processes based on the Categories Theory and Knowledge Maps, and to invite the academic community, in different areas of knowledge, particularly in education, to reproduce the experiment in order to support the results, contributing to its maturity and its continuous improvement. In the end, we present a case study for an undergraduation course and discuss the results presenting a model for a digital ecosystem with web and mobile applications.
Work softening of drawn low carbon steel bars

Abstract: The work hardening of metals subjected to complex processing paths is different from that in monotonic deformation. Changes in the deformation mode can promote transients in the strain-hardening rate, leading to anomalous softening or hardening of the material. This paper investigates the influence of strain path changes on the tensile behavior of drawn 0.12% steel rods. Annealed or predrawn specimens were submitted to cyclic twisting and then tested in tension. The results show that the cyclic deformation causes changes in the mechanical behavior of the metal, and the effect will depend on the previous "history" of the material. Cyclic twisting causes hardening in annealed samples, but leads to softening of the drawn bars. These phenomena are in line with the corresponding substructural aspects.

Abstract: in this paper, we discussed the conceptions of curriculum of teachers' trainers from de course of chemistry from de chemistry institute and from the education school of the federal university of rio de janeiro. we understand that the curriculum results from a social construction, so, we intent to comprehend how happen the constitution of the course's curriculum, based on documents and interviews with the subjects of the research. the study showed that there were competitions for status, resources and territories between the chemistry institute and the education school when the course was created, as well as there were internal competitions in the creation of the disciplines depending on the department of origin of the teachers.

Abstract: clusia hilariana is one of the most abundant plant species in the national park playing important role at the sucessional dynamic of the restinga ecosystem. this paper presents the composition and ecological aspects of caterpillars species found on c. hilariana. from 40 plants monthy inspected, fourteen species of lepidoptera were obtained. chloropaschia granitalis (pyralidae) was the most abundant species feeding on this plant species.
Teaching of History: argumentation and the construction of meaning

Abstract: The aim of this article is to discuss the construction of meaning through argumentation in the teaching of History. The field research was carried out in a municipal school in Niterói – RJ. The research included 30 hours of recordings of History classes of a group of the 4th cycle of Elementary Education (also called 8th year of Elementary Education). The data analysis articulated the theoretical elements related to curriculum, language and culture. It can be pointed out a possibility of theoretical approximation of these three fields of knowledge relating them to the concrete space of the History class. The challenge is to create a dialogue among the theories from the curriculum, language and culture fields, aiming to understand the construction of meaning in the teaching of History by means of argumentation.
Marcas do Currículo na Forma o do Licenciando: Uma Análise a Partir dos Temas de Trabalhos Finais do Curso de Licenciatura em Química da UFRJ (1998-2008)

Abstract: Este trabalho, realizado sobre a disciplina Projeto Final de Curso (PFC) no curso de Licenciatura em Química do Instituto de Química da UFRJ, traz elementos que nos possibilitam pensar e estabelecer rela es entre os trabalhos elaborados no período de 1998 a 2008, a partir da identifica o do departamento de origem do orientador, tanto do IQ quanto da FE, bem como a partir da análise das marcas dos currículos de forma o durante o período de 1993 a 2005. Assim, 252 trabalhos foram distribuídos em 12 categorias, sendo que alguns n o foram incluídos em nenhuma dessas categorias. Foi possível perceber que houve uma participa o fixa de docentes orientadores, desde a cria o do curso, que contribuíram para o processo de forma o desses alunos como professores, apesar das modifica es curriculares n o terem contemplado discuss es aprofundadas acerca da forma o docente. Foi observada, também, uma rela o entre as disciplinas dos departamentos que possuem um maior percentual de carga horária na matriz curricular, e que est o distribuídas ao longo do curso, e a maior participa o desses docentes na orienta o do PFC.
