Pi?eros Pedraza Carolina,Quintero Polo álvaro
Profile Issues in Teachers` Professional Development , 2006,
Abstract: Our insights regarding the relationship among the concepts of change, transformation, and innovation concerning pedagogical knowledge are present throughout the manuscript. We focus on the conceptualizations of change resulting from experiential and academic knowledge. Our shared perspectives as a teacher educator and a student teacher from which to see teaching, learning, language, and literacy are also at the core of the discussion. We complement our discussion with theoretical information from specialized sources and practical experiences that have taken the shape of thesis and monograph projects. In them, we looked at reflections and questions about language and literacy in pedagogical practices, alternatives for school life experiences, the balance between theory and practice in educational contexts, and the social dimension of knowledge.

Sonia Kramer
Creative Education (CE) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2014.56048
Abstract:

This paper is based on research carried out with children and adults at early childhood education institutions in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The research goals were to identify interactions between adults and children and to rethink pedagogical practice. The theoretical-methodological framework was based on language and culture studies, the sociology of childhood and anthropology. After studying children and adults in different contexts and early childhood education public policies and practice, the results present challenges of changing and creating early education practices in difficult contexts, especially with regard to the creation and use of spaces intended for children. This is the focus of the text, which is structured in three sections. Section one presents the theoretical and methodological issues. The second section analyzes three case studies developed in public pre-schools situated in different cities in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Section three presents conclusions and priorities for intervention and change concerning children, adults and their interactions.

Silva Aguila,Manuel;
Estudios pedagógicos (Valdivia) , 2000, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-07052000000100005
Abstract: the analysis of the processes of curriculum change within the educational reform in progress allows to isolate a group of elements of design whose interactions reflect specific emphasis in the process of decision making regarding the selection of knowledge and cognitive abilities to be transmitted by the teaching. in this perspective, differences are appreciated in the translation of the global educational intentions, from the macro to the meso perspective, of educational policies, the orientative regulations and micro perspectives for the design of plans and programs, the programs of specific studies for the sectors of learning. the above-mentioned prevents an appropriate decoding of the current curricular prescriptions.
Igualdad de oportunidades y política educativa
Tedesco, Juan Carlos;
Cadernos de Pesquisa , 2004, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-15742004000300003
Abstract: this text is divided in two sections. the first one analyzes the hypothesis according to which the diagnoses and responses to the current social changes not only stir the scientific and technical skills of individuals and of social groups, but also their basic systems of value. the ethical decision is prior to the definition of political strategies. the second part of the text explores the most appropriate political strategies to break the social determinism of learning results. in this sense, both policies of early attention to children and of pedagogical change strategies are mentioned, with a special emphasis on the so-called "subjective policies".

Revista Electronica Interuniversitaria de Formación del Profesorado , 2012,
Abstract: Educative innovation has to be the main field of research on Education. Research on education has to be coalesced with innovation in order to prevent the division between scientific research and teaching. Therefore, both have to be conceived at the same time taking into account teaching and its challenges during the research processInnovation consists in a process of planning and improvement. Innovation implies a change in school practices: to design and built them. However, changes are difficult to set and need time. Furthermore, schools' organization is difficult to change because its complexity and its resistance to change.The aim of this paper is to set out the main issues on innovation on education. How to think education and innovation to learn how to do something new on education? We suggest building a collective project with the engagement of the school’s staff. Furthermore, we recommend to create working groups and that their results on innovation will be disseminate to the rest of the teachers; as well as, to involve all teachers in building a working atmosphere based on experiences’ exchanges and collaboration among peers. We do suggest that those teachers, which innovate in their classrooms, should be promoted to new positions and be encouraged. Therefore, teaching improvement and a better education could be reaching.

Políticas del cambio en educación y gestión de la innovación
Aguilar Hernández,Luis;
Innovar , 2009,
Abstract: this article reflects on the meaning, nature and opportunity of the politics of change in education, approaching the matter from several policy dimensions. specific attention is paid to the exhaustion of formats, policies and scholastic institutions themselves which are surely at the root of such approaches' ineffectiveness. at a time when policies and strategies regarding change revolve around local matters, reduce their formats and renew debate on such matters (sweeping reforms involving innovation), it does not seem that questions regarding educational systems' meaning and logic, such as them becoming incorporated within with the broader social and institutional context, have been substantially approached. rapprochement with the contexts and form in which problems are presented in them demand a distinct concept of change in educational systems, implied by a localised rethinking of the meaning of the scholastic institution.
