Projeto profissional: o redimensionamento da carreira em tempos de privatiza??o

Abstract: the professional career has been resized, specially, by the meaningful impacts brought up by the changes of the contemporary world of labor. underlined here is the reorganization of production and management, such as automation and the diversification in the sector of civil services, which has suffered changes in the recent years, especially through privatizations. research has pointed towards resignation programs that put pressure on and terrorize workers so to guarantee their adhesion to these programs, causing a series of impacts on their subjectivity. it was within this framework that this research took place, with workers from the public banking sector, who lived the experience of an encouraged resignation program (e.r.p.). the objective of this study consisted in identifying the backwash of such programs on their professional projects in the panorama of privatizations. the results, generally speaking, pointed out that the subjects' professional projects were disconnected from the institution since e.r.p and privatization threats.

Abstract: the changes in contemporary society have been analyzed by several disciplines in the human sciences field, trying to understand its implications to the subjects e their social relations. in this context, theoretical categories have been put in question. here we present some possible theoretical articulations between the concepts of identity and work, considering the contemporary social scenery. identity is discussed from different social theories and the articulation with the concept of identification in psychoanalysis, emphasizing the dimension of its process. work in the contemporary capitalism system accepts configurations as flexibility, temporality, precariousness, informality, producing alterations that are expressed in the workers' ways of being. our reflections about the contemporary productive context make us affirm that, despite the hardships, the building of identity processes in the subjects still has a place. certainly they are transitory and ephemeral positions of subject, but it's not possible to deny the coherence and the continuance in each person's life history.

Abstract: this paper intends to analyze the practice of vocational guidance in a larger work perspective. the authors show how vocational guidance can, in a clinical approach, be understood as a modern representation of old rites of passage, and it also helps the maturation of the individual, who aims to leave the "world of childhood" for the "adult world". vocational guidance can function as a modern rite promoting health and allowing the teenager to have experiences that have been discarded by western civilization.

Abstract: this study discusses the adolescent?s professional identity and the world of internet, analyzing their implications for psychologists working in the career guidance field. through bibliographical research a new comprehension of the personal identity concept - as uncentered and multifaceted - is suggested, specially in occupational terms. also, the article proposes an understanding of the internet not only as a communication and information technology, but also as a tool for personal identity expression and transformation in its multiple aspects. therefore, career counselors should not turn away from such tool, specifically because the adolescent who demands career guidance - seen here as a subject in identity crisis - can take advantage of new services developed specially for the internet by career counselors, due to the fact that the ?global computer network? can facilitate the user?s development of a flexible professional identity, which is necessary for successful insertion in the current labor market.

Abstract: Objetivou-se, neste trabalho, analisar a escolha profissional em sua rela o com o direcionamento da carreira de universitários. Foram utilizadas a base teórica de Vygotsky e uma metodologia qualitativa com entrevistas semiestruturadas submetidas à análise do discurso. Foram entrevistados quatorze formandos e se apresentam para a finalidade deste artigo quatro entrevistas, que ilustram o conjunto dos formandos. No processo de análise, observou-se a emergência das seguintes categorias: escolhendo sem saber, o diploma considerado mais importante do que o trabalho e o medo do mercado. As carreiras para os universitários se traduzem em ambiguidades, satisfa o e insatisfa es com o curso escolhido. Na medida em que iniciam sua vida profissional, a busca desse grupo de jovens é por um emprego bem remunerado e estável, n o importando a atividade a ser desenvolvida. Os jovens revelam sentimentos frequentes de inseguran a, indecis es e mesmo indiferen a frente às suas trajetórias profissionais futuras e escolhem profiss es e carreiras tendo como pano de fundo um contexto extremamente competitivo e excludente do mercado de trabalho; assim, considera-se a orienta o na universidade um aspecto fundamental para auxiliar no processo de transi o para o mercado de trabalho. En este trabajo se ha objetivado analizar la elección profesional en su relación con la orientación de la carrera de los universitarios. Se han utilizado la base teórica de Vygotsky y una metodología cualitativa con entrevistas semiestructuradas sometidas al análisis del discurso. Han sido entrevistados catorce universitarios que se estaban graduando y se presentan para la finalidad de este artículo cuatro entrevistas que ilustran el conjunto de esos graduandos. En el proceso de análisis, se ha observado la emergencia de las categorías descriptas a continuación: eligiendo sin saber, el diploma considerado más importante que el trabajo y el miedo del mercado. Las carreras para los universitarios se traducen en ambigüedades, satisfacción e insatisfacciones con la carrera elegida. A medida que comienzan su vida profesional, la búsqueda de ese grupo de jóvenes es de un trabajo bien remunerado y estable, sin importar la actividad a desarrollarse. Los jóvenes revelan sentimientos frecuentes de inseguridad, indecisiones e incluso indiferencia ante sus trayectorias profesionales futuras y eligen profesiones y carreras que tienen como característica un contexto extremadamente competitivo y excluyente del mercado de trabajo. Abstract: Este trabalho apresenta o relato de um estudo com o objetivo de analisar as condi es psicossociais envolvida nas escolhas dos jovens em seus projetos profissionais, a partir da vivência de uma das autoras no Projeto Jovem, mostre a sua cara!, desenvolvido na Ilha do Mel, Paraná. A Psicologia sociohistórica e a metodologia qualitativa embasaram o estudo realizado, em que foram utilizadas técnicas de orienta o profissional. A análise das narrativas produzidas pelos grupos ressaltou aspectos sobre a realidade do trabalho e sobre os limites e as possibilidades de escolhas profissionais, que refletem a situa o particular desses jovens. A relevancia deste relato centra-se no fato de que qualquer projeto de interven o requer o conhecimento dos aspectos socioculturais e das dinamicas próprias de uma comunidade específica como essa. A prática da orienta o profissional pretendeu ter contribuído para mobilizar a participa o dos jovens no projeto nas suas múltiplas dimens es e ter fornecido subsídios para as institui es envolvidas, tanto neste quanto em outros projetos dessa natureza. This work presents research which has the objective to analyze the psicossocial conditions involved in the choices of the young in their professional projects, based on the experience of one of the authors in the project Young, show your face!, developed in the Ilha do Mel island, Paraná. Social-historical Psychology and qualitative methodology were the base of the research, that included also the techniques of vocacional guidance. The analysis of the narratives produced from the groups highlighted aspects on the reality of the work and on the limits and possibilities of professional choices, what reflected the particular situation of these young people. The relevance of this story is centered in the fact that any project of intervention requires the knowledge of the social-cultural aspects and the proper dynamic of the community. The practice of the vocacional guidance may have contributed to mobilize the participation of the young in the project in its multiple dimensions, supplying subsidies for the involved institutions, in this as well as in other projects of this nature.

Abstract: Este estudo discute a identidade profissional do adolescente e o mundo da Internet, analisando suas implica es para o trabalho do psicólogo no campo da orienta o profissional. A partir da bibliografia consultada, sugere-se uma nova compreens o do conceito de identidade pessoal, especialmente em seu ambito ocupacional, visto agora como descentrado e multifacetado. Somando-se a isso, prop e-se um entendimento da Internet n o apenas como tecnologia de comunica o e informa o, mas como ferramenta para a express o e transforma o da identidade pessoal em seus múltiplos aspectos. Em conseqüência, considera-se que o orientador profissional n o pode ficar alheio a essa nova ferramenta, pois o adolescente que busca orienta o - entendido aqui como um sujeito em crise de identidade - pode beneficiar-se de servi os desenvolvidos via Internet, em especial, porque esta última pode lhe facilitar o desenvolvimento de uma identidade profissional flexível, necessária ao mercado de trabalho atual.

Abstract: globalization has brought a number of consequences to large organizations, amongst which are incentives such as pensions, and the laying off of a number of experienced employees, who were unprepared in most cases for a life that could last longer than the time they dedicated to their work. today many organizations have begun to recognize the value of the older employees who, if brought up to date may not only remain motivated but also demonstrate their capacity and experience. however, some do need or want to retire, to spend most of their free time for personal development, leisure, health, personal projects, relationships with friends and family and even to engage in more enjoyable professional activities. the purpose of this article is to provide a perspective of the aging of employees within organizations and the challenges they face with retirement, assessing the aspects and variables that may facilitate or complicate the well being of these people through this transition. more than just focusing on theories based on retirement preparation programs (rpp’s), the article presents some empirical surveys to encourage reflection by social, organizational psychologists and professional counselors about the possibilities of their integration into this area.

Abstract: this study aimed to identify the impact on the students' professional project from their entry into a popular pre-entrance examination course linked to a federal university. considering the qualitative approach that was chosen for the study, the semi-structured interview was the instrument used for data collection. the subjects were seven students from the popular pre-entrance examination course, four women and three men, from 18 to 22 years old. the research findings, based on the technique of content analysis, identified the project subject, as well as the analysis categories "expectations related to the professional future" and "professional goals". the life project, according to the study's data, took the shape of a project of "becoming someone", "becoming part of the world", intimately connected to work and study, especially through access to higher education.

Abstract: one of the objectives of the high school evaluation system (saem) established by the santa catarina association of educational foundations (acafe) is to present an alternative proposal to select college students. this article, which synthesizes and analyzes part of a study that resulted in a masters dissertation, seeks to make this experiment undertaken in santa catarina state a contribution to current discussions about access to higher education in brazil. the paper analyzes the debate in the context of social psychology and professional guidance. to do so, it places saem in context, briefly considering its genesis and its congeners and then considers it as: a source of information; a pre-college entrance exam; a ritual of passage and or a ritualized barrier; a means of professional choice; a strategy of social and school selectivity and a means to democratize education. to conclude, we raise some questions and make some proposals in the context of the theme interventions in education, where college entrance exams in series can be seen as a strategy that disposes public education to better prepare students in order to assist their insertion at all levels of social life.
