On the strucure of Sovi above Postojna
Ladislav Placer
Geologija , 1995,
Abstract: The author maintains that the structure of the Sovi hill above Postojna with its surroundings is structurally a repetition of the structure of the Nanos, Hru ica and Trnovski gozd mountains. Thus the overthrust of Sovi is a miniature pendant of the Hru ica and Trnovski gozd nappe in the sense of the overthrust structureof the Outer Dinarides of southwest Slovenia, as presented earlier (Placer,1981).

Subrecent Movements near Ljubljana
Ladislav Placer
Geologija , 2004,
Abstract: At the eastern margin of the Ljubljansko barje (Ljubljana moor) smaller faults can be seen along which part or the whole colluvial cover is displaced. The age of the colluvium is not determined therefore at the moment fault are treated as subrecent. Similar the same phenomenon was seen at the Postojna area.
Comparison of the Julian and Tuvalian beds in two cross-sections in the Central Sava Folds area (Slovenia)
Matev? Novak,Stevo Dozet
Geologija , 2002,
Abstract: A lithostratigraphic subdivision of the Julian and Tuvalian beds in the To ko elo andVintarjevski potok area has been performed in this paper. The sedimentary sequence in the To ko elo area is subdivided into seven lithostratigraphic units, namely: bedded limestone, limestone and dolomite, oncolite, lower dolomite, platy limestone with chert, upper dolomite, and platy nodular limestone. Beds in the Vintarjevski potok area are subdivided into eight litostratigraphic units: basal breccia and conglomerate, lower limestone, lower dolomite, middle limestone, upper dolomite, upper limestone, red marl and topmost limestone.
