Análisis de las maniobras de reclutamiento alveolar aplicadas en siete Unidades de Cuidado Intensivo

Abstract: introduction: for the past years, alveolar recruitment maneuvers (rm) have originated a growing interest due to their beneficial potential in pulmonary protection, and have been introduced in clinical practice. objective: describe and analyze the knowledge of the mr and its application in seven intensive care units in the city of cali, colombia. method and materials: descriptive cross-sectional study with an intentional sample of 64 professionals working in seven intensive care units and apply mr. the self-completed survey was made up of thirteen questions, and the application period was two months. results: to perform rm, of 64 professionals survey, 77.8% of the healthcare providers that were polled follow a protocol guide, in which 54.7% answered that during rm the ideal positive end-expiratory pressure (peep) is the one which maintains a saturation > 90% and a pao2 > 60 mmhg; 42.1% tolerates airway pressures between 35 and 50 cmh2o; 48.4% perform rm with a progressive increase of the peep and a low tidal volume. conclusions: regarding the knowledge related to rm, heterogeneity was found in the answers. there is currently no consensus about which is the most effective and secure way to implement an mr. this study can be the starting point to create awareness towards the revision of knowledge, capacities and abilities that are required to perform rm.

Abstract: this article attempts to analyze the 'territories of enunciation 'in the literary output of chilean writer rosario orrego uribe (1834-1879) in the perspective of a dialogue on the construction of the nation marked by liberalism and a cultural field still in the making. we are interested in exploring the configuration of female authorship in orrego and her problematic entrance in the literate city, to account for women's subjectivities that are articulated from the division between marriage, motherhood, home and, on the other hand, the republic, the motherland and society.

Abstract: Este trabajo busca poner en relieve el problema de la autoría femenina en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX en Chile a través de las estrategias de publicación y géneros del discurso literario que privilegian las mujeres escritoras, planteando, en tal sentido, la novela-folletín como un género que permite proveer a las escritoras de función-autor; esto, además, bajo la consideración de un proceso mayor como es el surgimiento de un espacio de opinión pública y la construcción de un incipiente campo cultural/intelectual. Abstract: El presente artículo se propone analizar los territorios de enunciación en la producción literaria de la escritora chilena Rosario Orrego de Uribe (1834-1879), comprendiendo éstos a la luz de un diálogo en torno a la construcción de la nación signado por el liberalismo y de un campo cultural aún en ciernes. Nos interesa incursionar en la configuración de la autoría femenina en Orrego y su problemática entrada en la ciudad letrada, para dar cuenta de subjetividades femeninas que se articulan desde la escisión entre, por un lado, el matrimonio, la maternidad, el hogar y, por otro, la república, la patria y la sociedad. So her own background is not what one might expect of someone who now is speaking up passionately against the NATO assault on Libya…Unfortunately, most mainstream western journalists seem interested only in hearing from anti-Gaddafi Libyans. Abstract: this project explores unconventional structures to create complex inhabitable spaces that open to the mountainous views. the structural strategy consists of positioning four successive steel frames that repeat and vary according to the programmatic, spatial requirements and structural forces. moving any point in the structure transforms the whole morphology due to its associative and interdependent design. the use of wood at different angles as cladding allows for a direct dialogue with the landscape while the interior, spatial configuration allows for views toward the andes mountains from all the rooms.
