Abstract: the helminths recovered from seventy one specimens of nectomys squamipes, from "município de sumidouro", rio de janeiro state, are analyzed in conformity to their quantitative and qualitative features. it was possible to study seven species as follows: pseudechinostomum caballeroi, raillietina sp., hassalstrongylus epsilon, syphacia venteli, aspidodera raillieti, physaloptera getula and litomosoides carinii.
S?bre um Nematódeo spirurídeo parasito de Bradypus Tridactylus L
Vicente, J. Julio;Gomes, Delir Corrêa;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1971, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761971000100005
Abstract: the genus paraleiuris has a single species p. lochii vaz & pereira, 1929. the new species here described is different from it mainly by the aspect of the bucal capsule which is rectangular and its longer spicule differs in size and form.
Description of the adult form of Nybelinia (Syngenes) rougetcampanae Dollfus, 1960 and some new data on n. (n.) bisculata (Linton, 1889) (Trypanorhyncha: Tentaculariidae)
S?o Clemente, Sergio Carmona de;Gomes, Delir Corrêa;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1992, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761992000500047
Abstract: the adult form of nybelinia (syngenes) rougetcampanae dollfus, 1960 is described, parasitizing one specimen of sphyrna lewni (griffith & smith, 1834) out of the five ones necropsied and one out of six nothorhynchus pectorosus (garman, 1884) was found harbouring n. (n.) bisculata (linton, 1889). the finding of these cestodes under trypanorhyncha in sharks captured off the coast of rio grande do sul state, brazil, amplifies their known geographical distribution and adds new host records for these parasites.
Nematodes of Amazonian birds, with a description of Hoazinstrongylus amazonensis n.gen.n.sp. (Trichostrongylidae, Libyostrongylinae)
Pinto, R. Magalh?es;Gomes, Delir Corrêa;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1985, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761985000200012
Abstract: during recent studies of the parasites of birds from the amazonian regio, the following nematodes were recovered: hoazinstrongylus amazonensis n.gen.n.sp. from opisthocomus hoazin (muller, 1776); ascaridia columbae (gmel., 1790) travassos, 1913, from leptotila r. rufaxilla (richard & bernard, 1712) representing a new host record; inglisakis ibanezi freitas, vicente & santos, 1969, cyrnea (c.) semilunaris (molin, 1860) seurat, 1914 and thelazia digitata travassos, 1918. a compelte description is restrained to the new genus and new species here proposed. the other known and well described species are listed and accounted.
Comparative study of four species of Trichuris roederer, 1761 (Nematoda, Trichurinae) by scanning electron microscopy
Lanfredti, Reinalda Marisa;Souza, Wanderley De;Gomes, Delir Corrêa;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1995, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761995000400011
Abstract: a comparative morphological study of trichuris travassosi, t. vulpis, t. discolor and t. suis was perfomed using scanning electron microscopy. cuticular inflation associated with the bacillar band, vulva and male external genital appendages were analyzed. qualitative and quantitative analyses of these structures were made for each species; they are of taxonomic value.
Alguns trematódeos monogenéticos da família Capsalidae Baird, 1853, em peixes do Oceano Atlantico - Costa Continental Portuguesa e Costa do Norte da áfrica

Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1973, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761973000200003
Abstract: in this paper we make a study of five monogenetic trematodes of the family capsalidae baird, 1853. we describe two new species of the genus benedenia diesing, 1858, benedeniinae johnston, 1931: benedenia pompatica sp. n., which is very similar to benedenia sciaenae (beneden, 1852) abd differs from it mainly by the structure of the second and third pair of the haptoral hooks; and benedenia innobilitata sp. n. near to benedenia jaliscana bravo-hollis, 1951 does not have the armed cirrus, proper to the last and the structure and position of the vagina is also a considered characteristic. for the subfamily trochopodinae (price, 1936) we give new hosts: lepidotrigla cavillone for trochopus pini (beneden & hesse, 1863) and serranus cabrilla for megalocotyle grandiloba paperna & kohn, 1964, and we also redescribe and illustrate them. under this subfamily we also propose a new species of the genus allomegalocotyle (robinson, 1961) by the morphology of the haptoral hooks, the position of the vaginal aperture and the big external seminal vesicle.
