Trabalho, Educa??o e Saúde , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1981-77462011000300007
Abstract: community health agents (chas) are considered important for the implementation of the sus (sistema único de saúde/single health system), especially for reinforcing primary health care. their work may lead to situations that generate realization and/or experiences that are determining for motivation. this study aims to characterize the labor process of the chas in an area of teresina, state of piauí, brazil, describing their perceptions about work and their motivations. thirty-one chas took part in the study. this is an exploratory and descriptive qualitative review. in order to collect data, we used the focus group method. six focus groups were held, one per family health team belonging to the territory. the discussions were based on three guiding questions, recorded in mp4, and then transcribed and categorized. five categories were created to present and discuss the results. it was noticed that the chas have an understanding of the importance of their work, but they feel discouraged for not getting support and recognition, in certain situations, from the community, the team itself, and from the city's management. there is a desire for the appreciation of their work.
Phase Transformations in PZT Thin Films Prepared by Polymeric Chemical Method  [PDF]
Elton C. Lima, Eudes Borges Araújo
Advances in Materials Physics and Chemistry (AMPC) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/ampc.2012.23027
Abstract: Lead zirconate titanate Pb(Zr0.50Ti0.50)O3 (PZT) thin films were deposited by a polymeric chemical method on Pt(111)/ Ti/SiO2/Si substrates to understand the mechanisms of phase transformations in these films. PZT films pyrolyzed at temperatures higher than 350℃ present a coexistence of pyrochlore and perovskite phases, while only perovskite phase is present in films pyrolyzed at temperatures lower than 300℃. For films where the pyrochlore and perovskite phase coexists the amount of pyrochlore phase decreases from top surface to the bottom film-electrode interface and the PZT structure near top surface are Ti-rich compositions while near the bottom film-electrode interface the compositions are Zr-rich. For pyrochlore-free PZT thin film, a small (100) orientation tendency near the film-electrode interface was observed.

Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente , 2001,
Abstract: The article presents reflection about the occupation process data on the expansion of east part of metropolitan region, specially focusing the territory of municipalities of Pinhais, Piraquara and S o Josédos Pinhais where are fundamental water sources for regional public consumption. The break down of these water resources is foreseen in three decades ahead and this situation was improved by irregular forms of occupation of areas where the regional planning had fixed strategy of preservation since 1978. At the present times the irregular occupations and invasions are increasing in a very high speed andproportion what constitute harder situation for conservancy practices.
Multiespacialidades metropolitanas e constru o social do lugar – rumos para a sustentabilidade
Cristina de Araújo Lima
Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente , 2004,
Abstract: The metropolitan region of Curitiba – MRC – contains several spatial configurations and, besides having the third automobile industry of the country; it is currently the only metropolitan region with a population growth rate higher than the national average. Between 1970 and 2000, it had the highest geometric growth rate among metropolitan regions in Brazil: it grew 2.13% in its core and 4.18% in the suburbs(IBGE, 2000). However, last places are where 90% of the population live. There, social and urban structures are underdeveloped and the population number has risen three times in the last twenty years. Whereas in Curitiba 12.46% of the houses have an income around US $80 per month, in the suburbs this proportion rises to 50% or more. Discussing sustainability, it is necessary to understand the environmental dimension as a social and natural whole. In this paper analyze some aspects of the population conditions in the nearest neighborhood of Curitiba, where an improvement of the locus sense of place could contribute to a metropolitan and urban sustainability.
Notas a respeito de transforma es do planejamento urbano-regional frente a metamorfoses socioambientais
Cristina de Araújo Lima
Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente , 2004,
Abstract: The text presents considerations on the inevitability of facing the plural character of the urban context in the path toward the improvement of city planning and management instruments. This perspective points at difficulties stemming from the need to open up to a large number of variables that must be considered and which, if progressively integrated in more flexible territory organization and management programs, may pave the way for increased general public participation in dealing with shared spaces. The appropriation of urban spaces by their populations is considered an indispensable password for successful public urban planning policies.

Lima, Elizabeth Maria Freire de Araújo;
Interface - Comunica??o, Saúde, Educa??o , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S1414-32832010000200016
Abstract: josé joaquim de campos le?o de qorpo-santo wrote and printed his ensiqlopédia or seis mezes de huma enfermidade (encyclopedia or six months of a disease) between the 1860s and 1870s and was rediscovered in the 1960s. the reception of his writings in artistic and intellectual circles and the critique they received was transformed over the course of more than a century. every time that qorpo-santo makes an appearance in brazil's cultural world, new configurations of the relationships between art, clinical practice, madness, precariousness and incompleteness can be perceived. in this paper, we follow qorpo-santo's struggle to inscribe his creation in cultural circles, have it published, leave it for posterity and seek interlocutors; and finally, the trajectory of his work from the time when it was produced to the time when it reached its destination, the reader.

Lima, Elizabeth Maria Freire de Araújo;
Interface - Comunica??o, Saúde, Educa??o , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S1414-32832006000200004
Abstract: we discuss the changes that were brought about in brazil in the 20th century related to the acceptance of works of art produced in clinics or, in any other way, other than those conventionally accepted by the artistic community. the enlargement of this field, now including dissenting works of art, seems to indicate a change in contemporary sensibility therefore shifting the relationship between the domain of art, clinics and madness itself.

Os sentidos da sensibilidade e sua frui??o no fen?meno do educar
Araújo, Miguel Almir Lima de;
Educa??o em Revista , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-46982009000200009
Abstract: i present sensitiveness as a state of opening perceptive senses (affectionate and noetic) taking into consideration that body and spirit co-exist to become senses of existing. i understand education as a living theoretical action that implicates in the fruition of sensitiveness as an alive rite of initiation to all kinds of knowledge and feelings, to human senses. finally, i propose an enchantment pedagogy which implies on the outpouring of creative pathos from the admirer and from the haughty spirit, that provokes a relation of empathy and sympathy towards the fruition of pregnant and animic senses.
