Tres golpes de timbal, la réponse de Daniel Moyano au pouvoir dictatorial argentin du XXe siècle /Tres golpes de timbal, Daniel Moyano’s Response to the Argentinean Dictatorial Power in the Twentieth Century
Thierry Nouaille
Revista SudHistoria , 2011,
Abstract: The propose of this article was to show that Daniel Moyano’s novel entitled Tres golpes de timbal is a response to the Argentinian dictatorial power in the twentieth century. This piece is backed up by a selection of bibliographical sources, because some of them are the testimony of eyewitnesses to the dictatorship or even expatriates. At the same time, the relevant analyses of international contemporary journalists, university lecturers and writers come along on top.
Moure Pena, Teresa C.
Archivo Espa?ol de Arte , 2006,
Abstract: This study is focused on the iconographic cycle of Daniel in the Lions Den within the sculptural programs of the Galician Romanesque. Analysis of the representations allows for the proposal of a series of theories concerning the connection between figuration and context, and particularly the value and signification acquired by the theme in the monastic milieu.
Dante Alighieri, Purgatorio XXVI.139-148
Simone Marchesi
Glossator : Practice and Theory of the Commentary , 2011,
Abstract: Dante's famous ten lines on Arnaut Daniel, the "miglior fabbro," the best craftsman in the native tongue, are also the last lines of the canto, the most quoted in English (thanks to T.S. Eliot's citation in The Wasteland), the most extended stretch of non-Italian vernacular in the Commedia, the center of a reflection on the nature of language (Virgil-Arnaut-Adam) and the center of a triangle of oc poets in the poem (between Bertran de Born in Inferno and Foulquet de Marseilles in Paradiso). The thematic triangle of poetic concealment, erotic fire, and affinar (purification) derived from Arnaut's poetry is redeployed by Dante as a reflection on the nature of language and the promise of poetry.

O confucianismo e a china de hoje Confucianism and china
Confucianism is returning to the fore in China today in intellectual terms, and has been adopted by the Chinese government as an element of legitimization. The works of Daniel Bell allow for a closer view of the potentialities and limits of this “new confucianism”, which must, however, be placed into the more general process of contemporary Chinese culture, and of the developments of modernity as a global civilization.

III.
Pérez-Padilla, José Rogelio;
Gaceta médica de México , 2004,
Abstract: the mexican physiologist daniel vergara lope did research on medium-altitude physiology, mainly in mexico's central plateau, using several approaches. he described various mechanisms of adaptation to higher elevations that he felt protected people from a condition called barometric anoxyhemia. according to a french theory, this phenomenon occurred in the valley of mexico (and, generally, at higher elevations) and was deleterious for human survival and functioning, especially, with regard to intellectual capacity. the objective of this paper was to analyze dr. vergara lope's early published experimental data, especially that concerning respiratory capacity and frequency. the respiratory capacity he describes for 111 experimental subjects is slightly greater than that reported for the contemporary mexican population and reveals a broad dispersion that may indicate lack of precision in measuring. however, his data on respiratory frequency (22 per min) are considerably higher than those for normal subjects in mexico city and sherpa and aymar a populations living at elevations of 3000 to 4000 meters.
