Considera??es sobre o feminino e o real na psicanálise
Marcos, Cristina Moreira;
Psicologia em Estudo , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-73722011000100017
Abstract: the feminine is considered by lacan as a being who does not submit entirely to oedipus. by focusing less on castration than on the division introduced by the rule of the phallus, his questions about women are based on the women's division between the two jouissances. it is in that a woman is not completely subject to the law of the signifier that there would be a possibility of another jouissance. it remains a nameless, a real who enjoys another jouissance, additional to the phallus. the woman, not entirely in the symbolic, would have a privileged relationship with reality. we need to ask how this relationship should be read. we do not want to examine extensively lacan's teaching on the real, but to present some aspects of this concept in order to clarify women's privileged relationship with this real.

Abstract: this paper discusses the process of nursing professional identity construction in modernity. we utilize the ideas of category gender (lobo, 1991) and modern person (duarte, 1986). the modernity as a historical process establishes the emergence of work as a central category in the public x private relationship. understanding the profession as form of construction and public presentation of the modern person, we discuss the nursing professional identity process in relation to its female basis. working on nursing ethnographic bibliography, we identify a picture that gives to the female basis of the profession the greater cause of dilemmas such as: technical competence, vocation and identity.

Being Zen-Buddhist in the Land of Catholicism
Cristina Moreira da Rocha
REVER : Revista de Estudos da Religi?o , 2001,
Abstract: This paper aims at being a first approach to the trends of the Brazilian religious concerning the intellectual upper-middle class. Here I analyse the spreading of Zen Buddhism in Brazil. Arriving first by the hands of Japanese immigrants, from the 1960s onwards it took roots amongst Brazilian intellectuals. However, these two groups defined Zen Buddhism differently. Japanese immigrants considered it a marker of their ethnic identity and for them Zen involved funeral services, memorials and devotion. For Brazilians of non-Japanese origin Zen entailed meditation practices. This paper is concerned mainly with these Brazilians of non-Japanese ancestry. It analyses their reasons for leaving the Catholic Church, the image the Church has to them and finally their motivations for becoming sympathisers or even converting to Zen Buddhism.

Abstract: Cross-referencing qualitative and quantitative statistics from handwritten Portuguese trade sources shows the Spanish in the first half of the 19th century using Portuguese trade to introduce their wool in English and other markets. High quality Spanish merino wool played a key role in Portuguese trade during this period, particularly in the golden years of 1809-1819 and 1825. Its quality intensified both legal trade and smuggling.
