Abstract: the work had the intention of investigating the effect of the use of alternative feeds as part replacers in diet-formulating, evaluating the characteristic physicochemical alterations and centesimal composition of the free-range chicken. in the experiment a total of 192 (one hundred and ninety-two) birds of the pesco?o pelado (label rouge) strain arranged in a completely randomized design (crd) formed by 4 treatments (treatment 1 (control), treatment 2 (10% of the inclusion of rice bran), treatment 3 (10% of the inclusion of ground cassava leaf) and treatment 4 (10% of the inclusion of ground leucaena hay) with 8 replicates per treatment were used. the results revealed greater values of b* (yellow), saturation (c*) and ph for broiler meat with inclusion of ground cassava leaf and leucaena, while for the other variables of physicochemical composition, no influences of the treatments were not found. for centesimal composition the treatments showed greater values of moisture in relation to the control treatment. for sex, only a difference for the content of b* and c* was found, with higher values for female. the use of the alternative feedstuffs has not revealed marked influences on the chemical composition and quality parameters of free-ranging chicken’s meat with the use of replacement up to 10% in the diets.

Sur. Revista Internacional de Direitos Humanos , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S1806-64452007000200004
Abstract: this article seeks to defend three propositions. first, the extraordinary chambers in the courts of cambodia (informally known as the khmer rouge trials) is unlikely to achieve any of the primary goals put forward by its proponents. second, the court runs the risk of doing harm. third, it becomes apparent that other culturally-specific processes have a greater chance at making a long-term impact and satisfying victims.
The Legacy of the Khmer Rouge Tribunal: Maintaining the Status Quo of Cambodia's Legal and Judicial System
Sana Ghouse, John Coughlan, Richard Smith
Amsterdam Law Forum , 2012,
Abstract: The Cambodian judicial system is fraught with deficiencies. The Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia – established to try the leaders of the Khmer Rouge and those most responsible for the atrocities committed during the regime – has been hailed as a model court from which to bolster domestic legal and judicial reform. While the ECCC has made some steps towards providing a positive legacy - enhancing the capacity of the judiciary, addressing fair trial rights and standards of justice - in the absence of political will to address corruption and political interference, this legacy is superficial at best.

Biotemas , 2013,
Abstract: This study aimed to quantify collagen fibers in different lineages of country chicken at different ages and anatomical regions. The collection of material was carried out in both lineages (five poultries/treatment) at two different times: 42 and 72 days of age. At each moment, a fragment of the pectoralis thoracic (PT) and lateral iliotibial (LIT) muscles was collected, which were fixed in 10% formaldehyde for 48 hours; they underwent a conventional histological approach, they were stained with picrosirius, and they were measured through the morphometry software KS-400 ZEISS . The quantity of collagen fibers found in the muscles collected at 42 and 72 days, regardless of the region under study, was, respectively, 2.32±2.31% and 4.56±2.94%, for the Label Rouge lineage, and 2.26±1.61% and 4.92±2.12%, for the Pedres lineage. The quantity of collagen fibers in the different lineages and anatomical regions showed no significant statistical difference. However, when age (42 and 72 days) was taken into account, a significant statistical difference was observed. The increased amount of collagen fibers found in the lineages under study is influenced by age and it’s probably one of the factors which can influence meat texture.

Abstract: Phagocytic cells are known as multi potent activities for its ontogenical and phylogenetical aspect. One of the strike actions is super oxide anion known as critical role of the cell when microorganisms invade inside the cytoplasm. This agent sometimes triggered as a serious factor in the site of inflammation. There are many papers which concerned newly accessed anti-oxidative substances. However, many reports only focused on the molecular basis in vitro, suggesting vin rouge for their rich content of polyphonol rather than vin blank with a French paradox. We had been suggested that the key factor for oxidative stress needs to be discussed first for immunological standpoint, such as in phagocytic cell in situ. With this assay system in rodent macrophage, SO level was about the same for both groups administered vin blank as well as vin rouge.

Acta Scientiarum : Animal Sciences , 2007,
This study aimed to evaluate the performance and morphometrics of the intestinal epithelium of Label Rouge broilers submitted to diets with or without the addition of a symbiotic, and distributed into two production systems – indoors or with access to a paddock. A total number of 560 day-old male chicks were distributed in a completelyrandomized block design with two treatments, with four replications of 35 birds each. Birds fed the symbiotic and reared indoors presented better performance as compared to birds in the other treatments. The diet influenced liver and ileum weights, whereas the production system affected gizzard and jejunum weights. In the duodenum, only the indoor production system affected villi width. The production system influenced crypt depth in the jejunum. It was concluded that the addition of the symbiotic product to Label Rouge broiler diets improved performance, whereas gastrointestinal epithelium morphometrics were not affected, regardless of the rearing system.

Abstract: this work aimed to evaluate the effects of probiotic associated to prebiotic on performance, carcass and cut yields, qualitative traits of meat, development and score of lesions due to coccidiosis in digestive tract of broiler chickens raised in a free-range system during 85 days. one thousand, six hundred and ninety-six day-old male broiler chicks from naked-neck isa s757-n label rouge line were used in a randomized block design with factorial scheme of 4x2 and four repetitions. the effect of four additive (1 - biologic promoter + coccidiosis vaccine; 2 - biologic promoter + anti-coccidiosis; 3 - chemical promoter + coccidiosis vaccine; 4 - chemical promoter + anti-coccidiosis) and two breeding systems from 35th day of age (one with no-access to pasture or confined and the other with free-access to pasture or semi-confined) on performance parameters, carcass and cut yields, qualitative meat traits, coccidiosis development and lesions in digestive tract were evaluated. there was effect (p<0.05) of additives only on sensorial analysis (meat quality) and percentage of large intestine. breeding systems affected (p<0.05) live weight (lw) and lw gains, being the better results observed in semi-confined birds.
Irrigating a Socialist Utopia: Disciplinary Space and Population Control under the Khmer Rouge, 1975-1979
Daniel Bultmann
Transcience : a Journal of Global Studies , 2012,
Abstract: The article shows how the Khmer Rouge's restructuring of the environment into a socialist utopian space could be explained as an attempt to establish and tighten control over the populace and the factionalized movement. By inscribing power structures into the environment, the Khmer Rouge tried to 'create' loyal and faithful subjects. Michel Foucault's concepts of a 'disciplinary space' and panoptical control help to understand the massive environmental reshaping and it's connection to the regime's struggle for legitimation and control. Measures like the nationwide reconstruction of the irrigation system, sending the populace to the rice fields for a 'thought reform' through productive labor as well as an all-encompassing system of terror aimed at the transformation of the deviant populace into perfectly socialist people, whose daily life in the collective and personal necessities were planned down to the very last detail. The deviant nature of space and the deviant people populating it had to be rebuilt and disciplined until every little gesture, every thought, every construction in the nation's irrigation system corresponded to the socialist model. This attempt to construct an ideal socialist environment and its neglect of the diversity of topological requirements, furthermore, resulted in crop failures playing a significant role in the occurences of famines leading to subsequent starvation in the populace. Moreover, it also helps to explain the spiral of mistrust of the party's upper echelon against local leaders, which led to factional purges. The article, thereby, also highlights the complex and irreducible interplay between space and the micropolitics of power.

International Journal of Computer Technology and Electronics Engineering , 2012,
Abstract: Due to the rapid growth of the network application, new kinds of network attacks are emerging endlessly. So it is critical to protect the networks from attackers and the Intrusion detection technology becomes popular. There is tremendous rise in attacks on wired and wireless LAN. Therefore security of Distributed System (DS) is become serious challenge. One such serious challenge in DS security domain is detection of rogue points in network. Lot of work has been done in detection of intruders. But the solutions are not satisfactory. This paper gives the new idea for detecting rouge point using Mobile agent. Mobile agent technology is best suited for audit information retrieval which is useful for the detection of rogue points. Using Mobile agent we can find the intruder in DS as well as controller can take corrective action. This paper presents DIDS based on Mobile agents and band width consumed by the Mobile Agent for intrusion detection.
