No entanto, determinadas categorias disposicionais - cren as e valores pessoais, personalidade pró-social e motivos relacionados a voluntariado - denotam in uenciar o fen meno estudado. ---- Motivation for Continued Voluntary Work: an ethnographic survey in a spiritual organization ---- ABSTRACT ---- The objective of this work is to understand the factors that in uence the motivation for sustained voluntary work at the Núcleo Espírita Nosso Lar, a spiritual organization located in Southern Brazil. Abstract: RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as rela es entre a organiza o do trabalho e a manifesta o dos sintomas psicossomáticos. ABSTRACT This article has the objective of analyzing the relations between the organization of the work and the manifestation of the psychosomatic symptoms. The method of clinical-qualitative research was used as instrument of data collection, interviews in depth with fourteen individuals of an organization. Initially sought a provisional analytical categorization based on the theoretical framework. After that the interpretations of the statements were organized graphics that highlight the view of the incidence of symptoms and risk factors of work organization that emerged from the discourses. The associated symptoms were headache, stress, physical exhaustion, insomnia, gastritis, depression, anxiety, body aches, and inflammation of the sciatic nerve, distress, lethargy and mood swings. Factors associated with the organization of work have been the work pressure, lack of autonomy, insecurity, a feeling of being undervalued, lack of opportunity, lack of control and excess workload. The qualitative methodology did not attempt to establish a correlation between the two constructs, but the outbreak analyze of the factors that compose them and their possible associations present in the interviews. Abstract: the study of complex processes of learning find in the motivational phenomenon a fundamental element. what we are looking for in this essay resides in the understanding of the close link between the affective, cognitive and social aspects of motivation, within the organizational learning process. the delimitation of the object - motivation in organizational learning - emerges, initially, of the construction of each category: a) affective category, originates from the convergence between freudian psychoanalytical theory and psychodynamic learning approach; b) cognitive category, originating from piagetian thinking; and c) social category, influenced by social and socio-cognitive theories of learning. because of referential theories have been developed historically under different paradigms, we undertake a rapprochement between critical paradigms, which cross the psychoanalytic approach, and social constructionism which sustains of psychological approaches used. the joint analysis of the three categories and their factors involves two phases: the analysis of the factors of motivation in learning, described by authors working in the field of the individual, noting those that can be adapted to the organizational field, and inserted into the categories developed; proposition a summary table of categories and factors that can be used in subsequent studies on the subject. this paper aims at providing a new perspective on the theories of motivation and learning in organizations, since their relationship is an object of study that can not be reduced to a motivational type, nor to one type of scenario engagements, similar to the motivation at work, but is a concept inherent in the processes of organizational learning. it is attributed to the study’s relevance to the opening of a multiparadigmatic perspective to understand the phenomenon. it is attributed to the study’s relevance to the opening of a multiparadigmatic perspective to understand the phenomenon.

Abstract: As well as studies on entrepreneurship, the debate about the individual competence privileges largely the description and quantification of personal attributes, evaluating performance and prescribing professional profiles. Based on this observation and from the redemption of the literature was revealed a possible rapprochement between the fundamentals of the two themes from another perspective, the dynamic character of the phenomena of human competence and its expression by the individual entrepreneur. This essay aims to correlate theoretical constructs competence and entrepreneurship in line with theoretical perspectives that realize these research categories in its multidimensional and complex relationship with other subjective dimensions of a context. The article, at first, presents a literature review on entrepreneurship and competence constructs, indicating convergent and complementary elements and, in the end, discuss how the meaning and characteristics of both can be correlated in the analysis of the phenomenon of entrepreneurship.

Abstract: Caries development in the presence of Streptococcus mutans is associated not only with the production of extracellular water-insoluble polymers but also is based on water-soluble polysaccharides. The aim of this study was the evaluation of a novel glucan-specific Lectin assay for monitoring water-soluble EPS produced by S. mutans during several growth periods in different media. S. mutans cultures were grown for 24?h, 48?h, and 144?h in medium deficient of sucrose (A) and medium supplemented with 5% sucrose (B). Microtiter well plates were coated with cell-free supernatants followed by the addition of labeled Concanavalin-A and enzyme substrate. The substrate reactions were kinetically detected at 405?nm. The validation of the assay was performed using carbohydrates dextran, xanthan, and sucrose as reference. This new Concanavalin-A-based assay showed the highest sensitivity for dextran and revealed that the glucan production of S. mutans reached its maximum at 144?h in medium B according to bacterial maturation. 1. Introduction The etiology of dental caries is often associated with increasing amounts of various acidogenic microorganisms like Streptococcus mutans which plays a keyrole in the formation of cariogenic biofilms [1]. The structural and functional properties of biofilms, like human dental plaque, are essentially determined by the presence of microbial hydrated polymers which are mainly composed of the self-produced extracellular polysaccharides (EPSs) and also of proteins, nucleic acids, phospholipids, mucosal cells, and nutrient components [1, 2]. Particularly, the EPSs produced by S. mutans contribute to the cariogenic potential of dental biofilms and their resistance to oral hygiene measures [3]. The EPSs of S. mutans during sugar exposure consist predominantly of glucose polymers (glucans) containing various proportions and branches of alpha-1.3 (water-insoluble) and alpha-1.6 (water-soluble) glucosidic linkages [4]. The sucrose and glucose metabolism of S. mutans involves versatile interactions and regulation of different extracellular glucosyltransferases: GtfB (water-insoluble glucan, ISG; low-molecular-weight water-soluble glucan, SG), GtfC (ISG and SG), GtfD (SG), and FtfF (water-soluble fructose polymers) [5]. Most studies addressing the microbial interrelationship of caries are focused on the relevance of water-insoluble EPSs produced by mutans streptococci and their genetic regulation [6]. Soluble carbohydrate polymers and their synthesizing enzymes have been shown to play another important role for the enhancement of caries
