Governance Research of Chinese Rural Finance Exclusion Based on Peasant Survey  [PDF]

Abstract: The construction of people’s livelihood in rural areas not only needs to meet their basic requirements such as elders’ care, medical care, and insurance and so on, but also needs to encourage people living in rural areas and make them have confidence to earn a better live through the improvement of self-development ability. “Insufficiency of self-development ability” and “the lack of opportunity of development” are two of the most important barricades, which interact rural “finance exclusion” as both cause and effect and exert reciprocal intensification as well. The interviewing result from the 1938 random samples of local citizens living in villages and towns, which belong to 5 provinces and 26 counties and cities, shows that “lack of funds” is the hugest barricade that prevents peasants improving their self-development ability. The situation is mostly caused by “non-physical finance exclusion”. To govern this situation, the diversity of rural finance requirements and financial ecology cannot be separated and combination usage of different kinds of governance tools is needed.

Abstract: With the development of computer technology, embedded control system plays an important role in modern industry. For the embedded system, traditional development methods are time-consuming and system is not easy to maintain. Domain-specific modeling provides a solution for the problems. In this paper, we proposed development architecture for embedded control systems based on MIC. GME is used to construct meta-model and application model, model in-terpreter interprets model and stores model information in xml format document. The final cross-platform codes are automatically generated by different templates and xml format document. This development method can reduce time and cost in the lifecycle of system development.

Abstract: The interests of vulnerable groups can’t be guaranteed due to their weaker capacity and the limited interests demand channels during the water pollution conflicts. The interest protection for the vulnerable people in the water pollution conflicts has attracted attentions of the international scholars. The paper tries to construct the market mechanism which can make the vulnerable people to involve in the emission trading. The vulnerable people can buy American put option in the emission trading market. When the price of the emission runs below the contract price, the vulnerable people can get the benefit through executing the option. When the price of the emission runs above the contract price, the vulnerable people can give up the right. The binomial tree option pricing model can help the vulnerable people to make a decision through the analysis of the worth of the American put option.

Abstract: Attention to the development of low hilly cities increases, in order to guide their development towards efficient and ecological land use. This paper takes eco-safety into consideration in the future layout of land for construction, and incorporates ecological security factors into traditional methods of land suitability evaluation based on topographic conditions. Taking the Longfeng New Town in Suining City as an example, the GIS platform is used to superimpose various evaluation factors. The evaluation index system is determined using the combination of the Delphi Technique and AHP. The result of correcting traditional land suitability evaluation is obtained, which provides decision support for improving the scientificity of land use planning and layout.

Abstract: Background: To provide a theoretical basis for formulating effective measures to relieve test anxiety, we understand the current situation of examination anxiety and coping styles of middle school students from different ethnic groups. Methods: A stratified cluster random sampling survey was conducted on 251 junior middle school students in a middle school in Minhe County, Qinghai Province, using the middle school students’ test anxiety factors questionnaire (IFTAS) and the middle school students’ coping styles scale (CSS). Results: 1)Increasing the grades and ages, the score of different nationalities of middle school students’ test anxieties were higher(F = 4.795, P < 0.05; F = 2.468, P < 0.05); 2) The middle school students’ coping style ofpointing to the problem” had statistical significance among grades (F = 6.673, P < 0.05). 3)

Abstract:
Purpose: Combination of Prostate Seed Implant (PSI) with External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) remains as an attractive option for patients with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer. One of the most widely used approaches is to use external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to deliver boost doses after permanent prostate seed implant (PSI). In this study, the feasibility of using Intensity Modulated Proton Therapy (IMPT) as an alternative EBRT boost treatment for PSI patients was investigated in the presence of a large number of high Z metallic seeds. The dosimetry of IMPT boost plans was compared with that of conventional Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) boost plans. Methods: Ten post prostate seed implants with seeds of I-125 were randomly selected for this study. Proton treatment plans were created with two lateral opposed proton beams in Eclipse treatment planning system. IMRT boost plans were generated with seven co-planner beams for comparison. Several plan evaluation parameters such as the planning target volume (PTV) dose homogeneity, dose conformity and dose to surrounding normal tissues were evaluated. Results: Compared to conventional IMRT boost plans, IMPT demonstrated better sparing of normal tissues while providing similar satisfactory PTV coverage. The high Z implanted seeds is not a problem for IMPT as boost treatment. Conclusions: PSI with an IMPT boost can be a valuable option for prostate cancer patient treatment. It delivers comparable or better radiation dose distribution in terms of normal tissue sparing compared to IMRT boost plan.

Abstract:

In this study the relation between the generated open circuit output voltages of the piezoelectric ceramics Cymbal transducers with applied impact mechanical energy is studied. The output voltages of piezoelectric ceramics Cymbal transducers are increased with the increasing of the applied mechanical energy. Under the same impact mechanical energy, the generated open circuit output voltages of the piezoelectric ceramics Cymbal transducer is much higher than that of uncapped piezoelectric ceramics disk alone. The generated open circuit output voltages of the piezoelectric ceramics Cymbal transducer depend on the geometry parameters and the metal thickness of end-cap. The generated open circuit voltage of piezoelectric ceramics Cymbal transducer with thick metal thickness is small than that with thin metal thickness.

Modeling and Fuzzy PDC Control and Its Application to an Oscillatory TLP Structure

Abstract: An analytical solution is derived to describe the wave-induced flow field and surge motion of a deformable platform structure controlled with fuzzy controllers in an oceanic environment. In the controller design procedure, a parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme is utilized to construct a global fuzzy logic controller by blending all local state feedback controllers. The Lyapunov method is used to carry out stability analysis of a real system structure. The corresponding boundary value problems are then incorporated into scattering and radiation problems. These are analytically solved, based on the separation of variables, to obtain a series of solutions showing the harmonic incident wave motion and surge motion. The dependence of the wave-induced flow field and its resonant frequency on wave characteristics and structural properties including platform width, thickness and mass can thus be drawn with a parametric approach. The wave-induced displacement of the surge motion is determined from these mathematical models. The vibration of the floating structure and mechanical motion caused by the wave force are also discussed analytically based on fuzzy logic theory and the mathematical framework to find the decay in amplitude of the surge motion in the tension leg platform (TLP) system. The expected effects of the damping in amplitude of the surge motion due to the control force on the structural response are obvious.
A Hybrid Differential Evolution and Tree Search Algorithm for the Job Shop Scheduling Problem

Abstract: The job shop scheduling problem (JSSP) is a notoriously difficult problem in combinatorial optimization. In terms of the objective function, most existing research has been focused on the makespan criterion. However, in contemporary manufacturing systems, due-date-related performances are more important because they are essential for maintaining a high service reputation. Therefore, in this study we aim at minimizing the total weighted tardiness in JSSP. Considering the high complexity, a hybrid differential evolution (DE) algorithm is proposed for the problem. To enhance the overall search efficiency, a neighborhood property of the problem is discovered, and then a tree search procedure is designed and embedded into the DE framework. According to the extensive computational experiments, the proposed approach is efficient in solving the job shop scheduling problem with total weighted tardiness objective. 1. Introduction The job shop scheduling problem (JSSP) has been known as a very stubborn combinatorial optimization problem since the 1950s. In terms of computational complexity, JSSP is -hard in the strong sense [1]. Therefore, even for very small JSSP instances, it is by no means easy to guarantee the optimal solution. In recent years, the metaheuristics—such as genetic algorithm (GA) [2, 3], tabu search (TS) [4, 5], particle swarm optimization (PSO) [6, 7], and ant colony optimization (ACO) [8, 9]—have clearly become the research focus in practical optimization methods for solving JSSPs. Remarkably, most recent research concentrates on the hybridization of two or more heuristics to solve JSSP. For example, ACO is hybridized with TS in [10]; GA is hybridized with VND (variable neighborhood decent) in [11]; a hybrid algorithm based on PSO, VNS (variable neighborhood search), and SS (scatter search) is proposed in [12] for solving a biobjective JSSP. The underlying motivation for constructing hybrid algorithms is that different search mechanisms and neighborhood structures are usually complementary to each other (i.e., when one fails, the other may be effective). Therefore, a combination of several optimizers is likely to promote the probability of finding optimal solutions. A common strategy is to hybridize an algorithm good at large-scale exploration (diversification) with an algorithm good at fine-scale exploitation (intensification), which provides reliable searching ability for tackling complex solution spaces.
