Internal Transactions for Multiple Risky Assets  [PDF]

Abstract: Most of the articles about insider trading assume that there is only one risky asset in the market. On the basis of these papers, this thesis is mainly divided into three parts to study the situation of multiple risky assets in the market. In the first part, the situation of multiple risky assets in the market when two transactions are in progress is studied and then, the equilibrium when the market requires the internal traders to disclose the trading volume after each transaction is analyzed. In the second part, the equilibrium of multi-period based on the two phases of transaction is derived. The third part is the summary of the paper.

Abstract: In this paper, we consider the regularized learning schemes based on l1-regularizer and pinball loss in a data dependent hypothesis space. The target is the error analysis for the quantile regression learning. There is no regularized condition with the kernel function, excepting continuity and boundness. The graph-based semi-supervised algorithm leads to an extra error term called manifold error. Part of new error bounds and convergence rates are exactly derived with the techniques consisting of l1-empirical covering number and boundness decomposition.

Abstract: To enhance undergraduates employment competitive advantages, communication and expression capability and team cooperation ability in engineering practice experiences, an experience training program is adopted to cultivate compound international talents of software development required by software companies. For the training program, knowledge spans and integration extent of teaching contents, implementation flow and flexible evaluation methods are also illustrated in detail. Especially during practical training project selected from software companies, students are guided to cooperate with team members to complete regular software development, which will improve their employment competence and make them fit for their future work more rapidly. With auxiliary experience training online teaching platform, three times of training program has been carried out successfully and a statistics table shows effects of the training program.
Study of Species Biodiversity of Arthropod Community in Chestnut Orchard

Abstract: A systematic and atochastic investigation into species biodiversity of arthropod community in chestnut orchard is carried out in Hechuan, Chongqing in 2001-2004. 12 orders, 63 families and 136 species of arthropods are collected in the investigation, in which identified 120 special occupy 88% of tatal collected species. The species list and the composition of arthropod community are presented, and the ecological and economic significance of major species is discussed in the paper. The seasonal quantity dynamics of major classification groups in top part of chestnut orchard in 2001 are analyzed, and the Homopteran is shown to be the predominant group through the seasons. Moreover, the seasonal quantity dynamics of the quantity and Shannon-Wiener biodiversity index of whole community are pest and natural enemy sub-community in top part of chestnut orchard in 2001 are analyzed as well. In brief, the investigation has established an overall framework of information for the species biodiversity of arthropod community in chestnut orchard in Chongqing, which may facilitate the understanding of chestnut orchard ecosystem and an integrated pest control of the chestnut orchard.
Utilization of Dispersive Liquid-Liquid Microextraction Coupled with HPLC-UV as a Sensitive and Efficient Method for the Extraction and Determination of Oleanolic Acid and Ursolic Acid in Chinese Medicinal Herbs  [PDF]

Abstract: Isomeric triterpenic acids of oleanolic acid (OA) and ursolic acid (UA) both have very low ultraviolet absorption and always exist in the same plant, so the separation and simultaneous determination of them have been a difficult task. In this study, a sensitive method combining dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) with HPLC-UV was developed for the extraction and determination of OA and UA in traditional Chinese medicinal herbs (CMHs). Variables influencing DLLME such as type and volume of extraction solvent, volume of dispersive solvent, ionic strength, aqueous phase pH, extraction time, centrifugation speed and time, and sample volume were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, both OA and UA attained favorable extraction efficiencies with enrichment factors 1378 and 933, respectively. The linear dynamic ranges of 0.07 - 30.4 μg?mL–1 for OA and 0.08 - 33.6 μg?mL–1 for UA were obtained with square correlation coefficients of 0.9963. The detection limits of OA and UA were both 0.02 μg?mL–1. The method recoveries ranged between 88.2% - 116.2% for OA and 85.7% - 108.2% for UA with the RSDs (n = 5) lower than 8.6%. The proposed method was successfully applied to concentrate and simultaneously determine these two triterpenic acids in Hedyotis diffusa and Eriobotrya japonica samples.

Abstract: Hexafluorobutadiene is a new plasma etching gas for semiconductor molectron which has perfect properties and also is a preceding monomer that can be used for synthesizing many fluorinated compounds. This paper described the different synthesis methods of perflurobutadiene from different materials, and contrasted the characteristic of each synthetic method. The route from tetrafluoroethylene has more industrialization prospects.

Abstract: Based on statistical analysis on the situation of casing damage and water injection pressure in Pubei Oilfield, it shows that the main forms of casing damage in Pubei Oilfield are deformation and dislocation. Dip angle and faults have a significant impact on casing damage and casing damage is closely related to water injection pressure. Through laboratory simulating experiment and theoretical calculation, the formula of critical injection pressure giving rise to casing damage is obtained and the preventive measures are drafted.

Abstract: Thixotropy is a great rheological behavior of waxy crudes oils and is of great importance for hydraulic characteristics and security of oil pipeline restart. In this paper, through the experiment of four waxy crudes, three kinds of thixotropic rheology characteristics in the conditions that shear stress decays under a constant shear rate, shear stress decays after shear rate steps up and hysteresis loop of shear rate cycle changes are studied . For eight thixotropic models, experimental data are fitted in the method of least-squares and average deviation is taken as a statistical indicator to evaluate the thixotropic models. It shows that the model with the idea of Cheng that completely reversible and totally irreversible structures both exist in waxy oil products and based on Houska model can describe thixotropic behaviors of waxy crudes most well.
Study on Thixotropic Properties of Waxy Crude Oil Based on Hysteresis Loop Area  [PDF]

Abstract: Thixotropic properties are one of the low temperature rheology behaviors of gelled waxy crudes. In order to study the thixotropic behavior of gelled waxy crudes oil under cyclic loading of linear increasing and decreasing of shear rate, three different types of waxy crude oil were studied ex-perimentally by using MARSIII rheometer. It is found that hysteresis loop area could represent strength of thixotropic properties under that loading. With increasing of the rate of share rate sweep, the area of second hysteresis loop is much smaller than first one and began a slow decline from the third hysteresis loop. Areas of each hysteresis loops were decreased with increasing temperature, but it was different in decline rate—the lower the temperature, the greater the rate of decline. The maximum rate of decrease is the first hysteresis loop with exponential decline, and remaining hysteresis hoops approximately decrease linearly. In addition, based on the experi-mental results an empirical correlation is developed to describe the relationship of hysteresis loop area and rate of share rate sweep.
Expression of Skin Barrier Protein Filaggrin in Skin Diseases without Atopic Dermatitis  [PDF]

Abstract: The epidermis represents an essential barrier versus a broad range of exogenous stimuli. To form a functional epidermis, keratinocytes express filaggrin which plays a vital role in atopic dermatitis. However the relationship between filaggrin and other skin diseases remains unknown. In our study we chose 5 different common skin diseases and analyzed the expression of filaggrin in the skin using immunohistochemistry. Imiquimod (IMQ)-induced mouse model was used for detecting the filaggrin level and barrier function. The results indicated that the expression of filaggrin is reduced in psoriasis compared to the other skin diseases. Furthermore in vivo study showed that the skin barrier is defected with a decreased expression of filaggrin in IMQ-induced psoriasis mouse model, which is accompanied with an increased level of IL-17/IL-23. In conclusion, the defective skin barrier is involved in the development of psoriasis in human and mice with a reduced expression of filaggrin which may be regulated by the increased level of IL-17/IL-23 in the skin.
