An Analysis of the Expected Effect of Levying Inheritance Tax on Capital Outflows  [PDF]
Chengfei Qiu
Technology and Investment (TI) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ti.2018.91002
Abstract: With the constant development of reform and opening up, China’s economy and society obtain considerable development; the living standards of the people continuously improve, and the economic inequality in China widens day by day. Therefore, the voice for demand of levying inheritance tax to regulate the economic inequality becomes louder and louder, but the substitution effect of taxation makes us consider the negative impact of inheritance tax on economic efficiency. This text selects the effect of levying inheritance tax for the capital outflows as the breakthrough point, and makes empirical analysis on its expected effect for capital outflows. The conclusion indicates that the levy of inheritance tax will accelerate our country’s capital outflows. Facing the economic and social situation in our country, this text considers that China is not suitable for levying the inheritance tax at current stage and we need to take other measures to adjust the economic inequality.

Abstract: High school teachers are an important part of the national teacher group. However, with the reform and development of education in China, the requirements for teachers are becoming stricter and stricter. Teachers have gradually shown burnout in teaching work, which has seriously affected teaching work and teachers’ developing themselves. Therefore, based on the perspective of teacher professional development, this paper analyzes and studies the causes of job burnout in high school teachers through literature analysis, and proposes measures to promote teachers’ professional development, reduce burnout and promote teaching quality.
Analysis of Chinese Short-Term International Capital Flow Capital Motivation  [PDF]
Feng Qiu
Modern Economy (ME) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/me.2019.103071
Abstract: Based on the existing basis, this paper analyzes the short-term international working capital. In addition to considering the interest rate, exchange rate and asset price factors, it also incorporates the fluctuation risk factors of GDP for comprehensive consideration. This article uses the quarterly data of 2000Q1-2016Q3 to build a VAR model of quarterly data. The results show that Chinese short-term international capital flows are explained by their own changes to a large extent; among the four factors, exchange rate and asset price factors have the greatest impact, and arbitrage and DGP risk fluctuations have the weakest impact, indicating that investors are at the national level. Economic fluctuations and spreads are not sensitive, and the purpose of short-term international capital is to obtain the benefits of assets and exchange rates.
Centralized Quasi-Static Channel Assignment for Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks  [PDF]
Juan REN, Zhengding QIU
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/wsn.2009.12016
Abstract: Employing multiple channels in wireless multihop networks is regarded as an effective approach to increas-ing network capacity. This paper presents a centralized quasi-static channel assignment for multi-radio multi-channel Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). The proposed channel assignment can efficiently utilize multiple channels with only 2 radios equipped on each mesh router. In the scheme, the network end-to-end traffics are first modeled by probing data at wireless access points, and then the traffic load between each pair of neighboring routers is further estimated using an interference-aware estimation algorithm. Having knowledge of the expected link load, the scheme assigns channels to each radio with the objective of mini-mizing network interference, which as a result greatly improves network capacity. The performance evalua-tion shows that the proposed scheme is highly responsive to varying traffic conditions, and the network per-formance under the channel assignment significantly outperforms the single-radio IEEE 802.11 network as well as the 2-radio WMN with static 2 channels.
A Plasmid vector encoding functional human keratinocyte growth factor gene in vitro—Functional human KGF gene expression in vitro  [PDF]
Lin Qiu, Chunbao Guo
Journal of Biophysical Chemistry (JBPC) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/jbpc.2010.11008
Abstract: In this study, we cloned human KGF (hKGF) genes using RT-PCR techniques and developed a eukaryotic expression plasmid vector capable of directing the expression of functional hKGF. Monolayer culture of human embryo lung fibro-blast (HLF) was used for isolation of total RNA. Then the total RNA was purified and reverse- transcribed into cDNA using an oligo (dT) primer. A full PCR fragment for hKGF was generated and cloned. Restriction digestion and nucleo-tide sequence analysis validated the complete hKGF transcription. The hKGF cDNA fragment was inserted into pEGFP-C2 vector by means of recombinant DNA technology and verified by restriction analysis and sequencing. We have constructed pEGFP-C2-hKGF encoding the green fluorescent protein (GFP). Furthermore, hKGF had the effect on AEC II proliferation. These results suggest that the potential appli-cation of a hKGF plasmid of gene expression should be useful for sustained AEC proliferation, and its in vivo efficacy needs to be validated. Keywords:
The Quaternion Structure of Space-Time and Arrow of Time  [PDF]
Ying-Qiu Gu
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2012.37078
Abstract: In fundamental theories of physics, the dynamical equations all have time inversion invariance. Except for the evolution of some simple system which has realistic inverse processes, but for a slightly more complicated system, the evolution processes are irreversible. This is the problem of arrow of time, which is always warmly debated. In different point of view, we find there may have some conceptual misunderstanding in the controversy: 1) The realization of an inverse process does not mean the time of the system goes backward. 2) The principles of relativity and covariance are the constraints to physical laws, but not constraints to specific solutions. The equations must be covariant, but the solutions are not definitely symmetric. 3) Time is a global property of the universe, which is a measurement of the evolution process of the universe. The internal time of a matter system reflecting its internal evolution speed also takes this cosmic time as a unified background and standard of measurement. 4) The universe has a unified cosmic time T and a cosmic space related to this cosmic time. They are objective and absolute. 5) The eigensolution of a spinor is a critical state losing time concept, which responses the interaction of environment with some uncertainty, then the evolution process of the world is not uniquely determined. 6) The non-uniqueness of the evolution process means that the inverse process is absent. So for a world including spinors, the evolution is essentially irreversible. In this paper, according to the widely accepted principles and direct calculations of transformation, we reveal the misunderstandings in the usual controversy, and then give more natural and reasonable explanations for structure of space-time and arrow of time.

On Human Experimentation: A Perspective of China’s Criminal Law  [PDF]
Chang-Qiu Liu
Beijing Law Review (BLR) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/blr.2012.33014
Abstract: Human experimentation is important to the development of life science. There are so many problems brought about by human experimentation, which should be paid more attention to by law in order to protect the right of the subject. International as well as domestic laws are enacted in order to beat the illegitimate human experiment, while criminal countermeasures should be taken to redeem the failure of common legal measures, especially for China.
Existence of Weak Solutions for a Class of Quasilinear Parabolic Problems in Weighted Sobolev Space  [PDF]
Meilan Qiu, Liquan Mei
Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/apm.2013.31A028

In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions for a new class of initial/boundary-value parabolic problems with nonlinear perturbation term in weighted Sobolev space. By building up the compact imbedding in weighted Sobolev space and extending Galerkins method to a new class of nonlinear problems, we drive out that there exists at least one weak solution of the nonlinear equations in the interval [0,T] for the fixed time T0.
